This mob is so easy. We just killed it with 30 people. And 2 adds at the beginning. More adds came during the fight and we killed them all =)

# Nov 13 2002 at 2:55 AM Rating: Decent
Took this guy out tonight, dropped Axe of Resistance and Shield of Midnight 55ac 20int 20str 50hp SK Only. We raped him. Tough part is the pull. We got lucky with normal tagging but took like half an hour to 45 minutes. Any ideas for pulling the 3 Stooges? This guy is easy, Cekenar is tough (Huge AC or something, rogues were hitting for 2 - 17 is all) and Zlexak has a badass AE DD and Slow.

This dragon is a total joke...hes the last pull for us outta the triplets..and goes down quick. Dropped a SK shield and a Pally shield...both nice but considering most of our SK/Pally are using 2hers....shields almost arent a issue.
Weakest NToV dragon
# Jul 12 2002 at 5:29 PM Rating: Decent
This guy is a joke. Of the three triplets, Zlexak is a badass, Cekenar is kinda tough but not THAT tough, and Sevelak is just a total wuss. He is supposedly a paladin but I've never seen him LoH. He drops FAST I'm talkin like Venril Sathir fast. Nice loot for level of difficulty, usually drops the axe with uber resists or the spear.

This guy is a joke. Went down super fast -- kinda like a named WW dragon. His loot sucked too though. I believe he dropped a Shield of Midnight for us.

killed this yesterday, i dont think it even ae'd once the entire fight, our group took no damage at all throughout a 3 min fight or so, very very easy compared to zlex or the other in the triplet that starts with a C, whose fight lasted long enough for me to use defensive twice with the same crew as the Sevalak fight.

If you guys are talking about "Myrlokar's" and "Tolan's" armors, the kunark type for rogues and rangers, respectively, they like all kunark armor drop in Karnor's Castle and Old Sebilis.

ShowEQ?

What is ShowEQ?
RE: ShowEQ?
# Jul 03 2002 at 12:32 PM Rating: Default
A program that runs on a linux machine next to your other comp... When you get it up and running, it pretty much disects the packets relayed, deciphers them, and then interprets them into a nifty little program (ShowEQ)

It will tell names, levels, dieties, visible equipment, and some other stuff (can't remember off the top of my head... only seen it for like 30 minutes). Also maps out the zone too. (Remember the map mode in Doom 64? It's identical to it) Shows your location, your line of sight, aggro radiuses.

You can even get an alarm set when a certain mob spawns (so I'm told... didn't have enough time to see it in action). It will show your distance from your target.

Parses your damage, your group mate's damage, pops up your chat in different windows (so you can record them), and even sees the zone's editor's notes (when they were making the map, they could put in notes for the other editors to read when they open up the map before editing it/viewing it/etc)

It's basically, the unofficial guide to EverQuest. Cool as it may be... If I knew everything about the game, it just wouldn't be as much fun :P

Look below right of the eye and you see its eye and where the neck meets the head it looks like its swallowing it. Ok yeah. Just wanted to let ya all know.

Slowable.

Dropped Lance 39/42 pally/SK only. 25 ac, 10 str, 10 sta, 15 svm, effect: dawncall.

Axe 15/24 20svall and some AC.

Sorry I don't remember the names.

RA of Povar dropped him on 8/7/2001
75? uh huh
# May 15 2001 at 9:11 AM Rating: Default
Hehe. I remember the comic flame wars on certain message boards about what level Naggy/Vox/Cazic were. Since they then were red to a 50, no one knew, but it didn't stop them from guessing. Why anyone would want to argue about that for hundreds of posts was beyond me.

I have no idea this mobs level, never seen it, might never see it. I don't want to revisit all those old arguments about possible level either. I would suggest that rather than giving a mob a level like 75, perhaps just say "64+" and leave it at that.

Actually, I don't use ShowEQ for the higher level zones.

Since levels are rather irrelevant by the time you're hunting with a group of 24 thought the forbidden area of TOV, I just use two or three level distinctions in that zone.

Anything marked as 60 to 63 means I have a vague idea what the level is.

Anything marked 65 means "It's going to kill you unless you have 24 to 30 people all working in close concert".

Anything marked 75 means "It's harder than the stuff you used to think was really hard".

I don't know.. is this dragon level 63, 64 or 84? Doesn't really matter. It's HP and attacks are not a function of level, since it's made individually. It is though harder to kill than dragons like silverwing (imho).

It's not a bad convention to use, but it can be a little misleading - most of these guys aren't immune to magic, but if they were that high level, they would be. If I had to make guesses, I'd place most of them around 63-70, with Lord Kreizenn possibly higher (cannot be hit by any spells except for totally irresistable ones. Even Lures don't land).

Possibly because you were outside melee range?
