5 Manned this today in DoN era with:

70 PAL - Anguish/DoN BiS 17.6k HP 1.3k AC 882 AAs
70 BER - Anguish/DoN BiS 531 AAs
70 BRD - GoD Raid 188 AAs
70 SHM - GoD/PoP Raid 342 AAs
70 MAG - GoD Raid 778 AAs

Sat SHM in the little crevice in between the wall and the ramp that juts out of the wall right before his pool. Rest were basically just on top of him. Long fight, but essentially just AFK with auto attack on, massive pushover at this point.

Still had MotM III.

This weirdo...

The first time I saw this mob come around a corner I almost pee'd myself laughing. All of the other dragons were awesome but it looked like SoE designers ran out of time and stuck a reading lamp to this one's head.

Reminded me of a recent Deep Sea explorer's show I saw on Discovery(tm). Big Monster with little light in front of it's face to attract meals to it...

Oh yeah - it's cake taking him down with 4 groups - just takes a while... Bring a lot of DPS with you for him...

#REDACTED, Posted: May 28 2002 at 2:23 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Our lil guild came upon this nice dragon and killed it with ease we had agbout 23 of us fightin runnin round on our raid. the majority of us were 50's and no 60's, i think we had like a 49 was our lowest took us nto but a 30-45 seconds and he was out, we got the sirens dagger, and the eye patch thingy, c'mon guys
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 22 2002 at 2:42 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Sorry...but this post seems like TOTAL CRAP...a lvl 49 character wouldn't last a minute in NToV with AE spells...and maybe 23 people can kill this dragon....but you better believe they're all gonna be 60 or near 60. We killed him tonight with 45 well equipped 60's and it took several minutes...not hardly 30-45 seconds.
# Dec 23 2002 at 8:22 AM Rating: Decent
We did him with about 25 people, but I think the raid average was 62 or 63. Fight was long enough to have our Warriors defensive discipline run out and recycle to be used a second time in that fight. Fights in NToV get extrem longer with less people because you have to provide a minimum number of people to keep the raid alive. Taking in the good regeneration all ToV dragons have you can easily figure out that half the people need more than double the time.

the fight for this guy last at leat 7 to 8 mins. it is one of the dragons that has the most HP but a easy one.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 02 2002 at 9:41 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Hmmm.... Anyone notice how Verant is making Sushi dragons? Hehe. Just a little joke

This guy really is one of the easier Ntov mobs, we took him out pretty quick only 1 death, dropped a really good bard dagger and a trident =)
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 18 2002 at 12:47 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) whoopse, wrong item. this one is like a shield. dunno what I was thinkin of, but sorry bout the mistake.
deep sea stuff
# Apr 18 2002 at 12:46 PM Rating: Default
deep sea stuff is not all that... the goldfish drops 3 good items: Net of the deep sea (can be worn in multiple slots and is badass in all of em), the eyepatch (which is pretty cool no doubt about that), and the trident of the deep sea (which is one of the best taunt weapons in the game... 14/22 with stats and a slow proc... jezus thats agro.) Jus thought Id post my 2cp.

Oh an btw: look on every forum on every ToV mob in the game, and you will find one similarity: every single one seems to have an argument about the sleeper... STFU

I'm having flash backs to velium crawlers in Crystal Caverns from my days in the 30's, any relation between them or did Verant get lazy with thinking up new graphics?
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 17 2002 at 4:55 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Hmmmm i cant see what all the "Lord Koi'Doken is really hard to take it all about" he really ain't all that drops some nice items though.
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 09 2002 at 1:13 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) THIS GUY LOOKS SOOOOOO COOL!!

Why are you arguing about the sleeper in a thread about a ToV mob? Anyway....

We killed him, he was a freakin push-over. Thing is huge, though, looks a lot smaller in pictures. He dropped 2, count em: 2 Greaves of the Deep Sea...I was a little dissapointed.

Seriously though, this guy is about as tough as flurry drakes. I'd say two flurry drakes vs. 1 goldfish(koi), and one flurry might die but they'd own him easily...Where am I going with this? Just rambling on, the legs suck in my opinion, save the ac. No resists? No stats? Yeah the EB is nice, especially since most of the time when you replace an item on your for an EB effect you ussually lose a lot of stats...like putting on a fishbone earring. But think about how hard it is to get to and kill this mob, did we come all this way for EB gear? Not saying all his loot is as pointless as greaves, that eyepatch is rather spiffy.
lewt missing

he also drops a trident

14/22 peircing +10 to a couple things can't member, also has effect :Wave of the Deep Sea
which is a DD with slow proc
# Sep 13 2001 at 10:11 PM Rating: Decent
He has a 400 damage DD that also stuns. It procs about evey 6 seconds.
I thinnk the resist check is CR
#Anonymous, Posted: Sep 03 2001 at 5:56 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) WOOT it looks like its from the ocean and drops deep sea items! Holy crap Go Verant!!
#Anonymous, Posted: Aug 21 2001 at 7:52 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) No DT only does 20k dmg so I think ToV would rape the Sleeper...even as tough as he is there is no way he could take all them dragons out if it can't heal himself. Vulak`Aerr would give him the first 5 minute fight of his life...if he even could make it that far in the temple. Kerafyrm, however, is easily the most powerful mob on the game....him or Jaled`Dar's Shade since they are the only 2 remaining mobs to be killed.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 20 2001 at 8:51 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Kerafyrm is the "sleeper" you ***.
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 02 2002 at 12:28 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Don't be a ****, he's stating how Kerafyrm is one one of the most powerful mobs, but he couldn't take on all of tov at once, at least that's what i got from reading his post. think before you speak.
# Aug 20 2001 at 8:49 AM Rating: Default
we wondered onto this mob and ganked easy with a few less than 40. No preparation, only buffs remaining after previous uber dragon smashing.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 20 2001 at 7:24 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) raid obsessed guilds really, really depress me.
Killed him today
