Did this guy for 11 hours last night. Found the key to popping him or his place holder at least twice an hour, sometimes more.

Kill all the wandering MoBs in the loop. Loop being Stables all the way around to the back are back to the stables. There are at least 8 different areas for wandering MoBs to pop. At lvl 40 I was just training every single MoB in the loop back to the Fingered Skele spawn point. Killed 8 at a time, go pull more. After while I figured out it was just the wandering MoBs that needed killing.

Doing this I got the 2.5", 3" and 3.1" finger in about 4 hours. The place holder is a Thick Boned Skeleton. He can pop in the Fingered Skeletons place or just up the hallway a few feet.

I have been camping stables for three days and have only run into ONE of these things and got a 3'1 finger but still need the other 3 this stinks

The fingers are droppable, as soon as I walked into the tower and /ooc'd to ask if anyone was camping him someone offered me two of the fingers. I've still yet to get the rest (camped in an area I think is referred to as the stables,) but the names of the fingers appear to be different in their sizes. The two fingers I have are:
A withered 3.1" finger
A withered 4" finger

Good luck with the monk quest, this is the last part I need to finish this shackle.

i was down here with two friends and one of them said we had to clear every mob we could see. well once we done that he didnt spawn but then i found two furbies that were out of my view so i killed them and poof he spawned at the exact second i killed the last furbie

Some peole say he spwans every 15mins some half hour. However I have camped this guy and seen him once in 2 hours. I've tried everything from wiping out the floor to wiping out basically all of Kurns out of pure anger. Should this Mob be camped with you sitting right there in the stable area? The times I've seen him were right after I cleared the whole basement. I've seen him pop and other times hes already there. It's frustrating because I know he is not a rare spawn I think he just doesnt like me hehe. But wiping out Kurns is a good stress relief anyway.

the fingered skeleton is for the monk quest for the shackle of rock(a long quest with a horribal reward).The fingers he drops are used in the quest.He also drops FS wepons and a saphire(i dont have any info on the sapgire). He spawns every 15 minutes but sometimes a thick boned skeleton spawns instead.I have heard that the cook spawns there but never saw him.

I killed him for the second time today, the first time he dropped a Finger and a Fine Steel Scimitar but this time he dropped a Ruined Scaled Gorget, A Saphire, and another Fine Steel weapon.

How do u make him spawn?

I am trying to find this **** to get his fingers. I killed the thick boned skelly and am sitting at where i killed him. Fingered skelly aint popped in ages. why?

I think he spawns just south of the stables. I always sit down outside the placeholder for the cook and he just comes and whacks me so i'm sure its near there although I don't think the cook is the place holder since i saw them spawn a couple minutes apart from another. I have terrible luck with these fingers. I keep getting the 3" finger and the 2.5" finger. I don't think any of them are more rare than the others. I hate this camp though. I've spent 4 hours tongight and have seen 4 fingered skellies all having the 2 I already have. I think I will quit EQ for a couple months as this is just a waste of life. Something to think about during this dumb camp.

I camped this for several hours over the past two days and noticed that the withered 3" finger seems to be the most rare finger.

I gathered 3 of the others without getting one 3" finger. Just for further info, the 4 fingers needed are 2.5", 3", 3.1", 4".

I would say 3.1" is most common, followed by 2.5, then 4", and the most rare was 3"

LOL, I've been camping this guy off and on too, so far he's dropped the 3" finger 3 times in a row that i've seen him. If he has a common drop i would guess its this one.

FYI, I am a cleric and used an undead DD on him, so he is undead, not a monster. I got a furbie mask off of him and a finger.

Drops the fingers (got all four with 4 spawns! WOOT!) he spawns just down the hall from the stable area... he or a PH that is... timed it at almost exactly 30mins all four times he had FS scimitars on him.
