Ascending dawn ,Magus Imperialis Magicus and Wudan allied tonight to kill the sleeper on rallos zek server ,one of the last servers where the sleeper was never awaken ..... they got it to 25/26 percents hp after hours of fight .....
the sleeper was depoped by SOE ,because they were about to kill it ... that s just sad to interfer in the playgame they made a mob targetable and with a certain amount of hp ,if they didn t want to be killed they should have made it untagetable at the beginniing or simply revamp the zone on all servers at the same time

After being awakened, Kerafyrm rampaged through much of Velious, slaughtering everything in its path from Sleeper's Tomb to Skyshrine.
Formerly of Sleeper's Tomb, Kerafrym the now awakened currently resides in Crystallos, Lair of the Awakened.

Just to give you a rough picture...
160 people (and like 100 of them PoTime geared) fought him for 3,5 hours we got him to 27% before he poofed mysteriously.
The last official statement as of 11pm EST was that we probably reached the end (time out)of the script which it forced him to despawn. This is at least likely, but it tells us alot about Sony's high quality programmers. You rock. (/sarcasm off)
However, the fight itself was a blast.
Kerafyrm hits for 6999 (exactly yes) max dmg per hit.
Flurries of course and has a 20K proc DD added.
In addition of course the obvisous DT each 30 secs or so.
Totally immun to spells.

On one hand we are pleased knowing we would have killed it. On the other hand ,of course, getting the shaft after putting so much effort into it is like someone ripping your heart out.

From what I have heard, even OBTAINING the key to get to this place takes so much time and power. And from what it looks like, he just goes and kills every NPC and PC in Sleeper's Tomb (?), and then flies to Skyshrine (I bet he goes through Kael Drakkel and gets drunk with the giants) and kills Lord Yelinak - why does he do that?
Where can you find EQ lore on stuff like this? I'd REALLY like to figure out why the HELL Kerafyrm and Yelinak hate each other.

Waking the Sleeper is a one time deal. The reason he goes from zone to zone killing the other dragons is in the lore of Norrath. Sleeper was locked away for being the first of his kind, a prismatic dragon stonger than the ancient dragons. It's no surprise he'd want a little revenge upon being awakened. As for his traveling, yes he does go from zone to zone in search of his next victim. I was one of the sad lowbies who got in his way and promptly saw LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...

Friends a GM.... there not allowed to ENTER the ToV.. ST... tier 4 planes or above.. Vex Thal. reason is SoE wants GM's to experance these adventures on their own... the Sleeper CAN be killed.. and saddam COULD be nice person inside.... there is no loot for Sleeper.. there will not be loot. no one in EQ will be able to kill Sleeper.. GMs and Guides CAN enter any zone. However there are certain high level zones that Guides cannot hang around in, meaning they would need a petition to be there and have to leave after taking care of the petition. GMs as employees of SOE would be less restricted.
Oh and you are wrong yet again, after looking at your magelo you have a LORE augment in every single one of your slots.

I was reading in the EQ atlas page 420, and it says that after the sleeper was awaken it fled to an unknown location where its powers grow with ever second. Is it possialbe that the sleep is still in the game but not found yet or a lost quest to bring it back out there?

I heard a story that the sleeper had been killed by a guild who supposedly found a way to get under the zone so the sleeper couldnt hit them and then they eventually killed her but then i think that they got banned for it but like i said it was a story someone told me.

The guild websites I looked at for some of the guilds who woke him only showed him with full (or maybe 99% of his) health standing amongst a pile or two of corpses. The exploit referenced in this rumor refers not to the Sleeper, but to the third Warder.
The guild Conquest (not Fires of Heaven, Afterlife, Triton, or any other extremely powerful guild) was accused of using an exploit when fighting the third Warder. They were accused of having their raid under the bridge where the warder could not reach them while their main tank built aggro on the dragon without doing damage, so it couldn't start summoning. Only bits and pieces of this were ever released to the public so I'm giving only the confirmed "facts" as released by Sony.
Conquest claimed no such exploit was being used (but defended it by saying people do the same thing to Vox) and that their Main Tank had no way of building sufficient aggro. They lost the fight because their clerics built too much aggro and got summoned and roasted. The fight was not stopped, but they lost. Some time later, when GMs were present and discussing their exploit (read: scolding them) they "accidentally" spawned the Sleeper (for the first time anywhere) and he loaded with the wrong model (a giant human male, there were screenshots of this that were at first called fake by Sony, then later they admitted that the wrong model loaded, they apologized for their false accusation in a Press Release.)
The guild was disbanded and all it's members suspended and two memebers were banned as they had previously been warned from similar exploitation.
This fight did not directly involve the Sleeper at all, that just makes the rumors sound more intriguing, and it took place in Sleeper's Tomb in an attempt to wake the Sleeper.
Update: I have since been contacted by a former member of Conquest who has corrected me that they did wake the Sleeper through an exploit. I have not been able to confirm this claim as either true or false.

The last post with the movie was a good one, i suppose its possible to do it that way. Its probally possible with around 20 if u do it right. Because he can cast DT every 2 seconds u need infinate tanks basically, or beable to have a bunch up at a time. Get a bunch of mages, clerics for there pets, wizards (for pets also), shadow knights for pets, etc.. Pets only. PCs will not be at the top of the agro list if they do not attack the sleeper, so, u send a crap load of pets on him. When your pet dies send a new one in, eventually his insane amount of hp, whatever it is, will demish and he would die.

Its not his hps, its his regen. Regening 20k hps per tick is not an easy task man. Guild on my server, CiH, awakened him long time ago. I'm good friends with one of them and he was there. He said they lasted 20 mins against him, and that his regen was insane.. he didnt hit too hard(hard back then prob.) and now they could defeat him. =/

Their in denial... i believe this vid for its authenticy..and ST just like other zones had only recently been revamp...plus Tawain servers do not go past Velious. So yes..i believe that was indeed the sleeper..yet the old sleeper for us.. and they nearly killed it... damn soe for their tricks.

I think the subject says it all. Naturally the chat channels on Maelin are buzzing at the moment. From what I can tell every single player on the server had a collective bowel movement about 11 am this morning and are currently trying to find out who to blame for it. Ah, well. Man ... have you guys ever just wondered about what is going to drop on Kerafyrm once it gets killed ... ? Aw man i can just imagine it . An item that's 20 / 10 with like a 100% haste clickable effect and like 100 Strength and Dexterity and Stamina and like the proc is "Insta Death" .

His HP was dented in his battle with that dragon...that tells me the only way to actually beat him is to attack him while he's fighting with that dragon. Get everyone and everything you can and go all out on him. But I doubt it's possible now becuase 3/4s of the major guilds on most servers have awoken him. Hey, maybe a GM will summon him for that purpose?

I heard a rumor on a site that Quarm the Time Dragon is the equal to Kerafyrm, and that the dragons Veeshan, Vox, Trakanon, and Nagafen summoned their powers to make sure that Kerafyrm would never release her powers again. Then Quarm is stolen by Zebuxorok for Plane of Time story. Just a rumor, doubt its true, but take a good look at Quarm's picture.... Notice anything about the 4 heads?
Heh, I'd imagine Veeshan is just hanging out up in Plane of Sky taking solace in the fact that Kerafyrm is murdering all the wizards that could give it a port up. :p I sincerely hope the next expansion after LDoN is PoP2. Like Velious was for Kunark, nothing but great new encounters and new loot and new quests. I loved it, and sad to say I belive sony has none of the original creators left and therefore none of the resources to make another expansion like PoP. Anyway, here's hoping. :/

1) Quarm's four heads each represent one of the Elemental Planes/Gods. Quarm is the "secret" weapon the Elemental Gods used to try and stop mortals from releasing Zeb. This is all part of the Planes of Power storyline. Quarm has nothing to do with dragons.
2) Veeshan wasn't actually a dragon, but a God who created the Dragons in her image.

um sleeper has ALOT more hps then quarm. and the sleeper doubles for 7k a hit if i remember correctly. he also DT which is a 20k hit ever 30 sec? or something like that. from what i believe kerafrym would kick quarms *** all over PoTime if they would fight. BUT THEY CANT AND NEVER WILL. its a stupid agrument lol

Sleeper was awakened on KB this morning and not under "good" circumstances I'm afraid. A few players decided it would be great fun to rob those who have never seen Sleeper up close of their opportunity. KB guilds had long agreed to not wake Sleeper for many reasons but sadly a few choice players have taken that away. How sad :(

There is a storyline... and none of it has to do with Vox and Naggy doing the 2 dragon shuffle. Vox and Naggy were PLANNING on making a little cross breeding dragon that would have been like Kerafyrm. But they were caught before they did the deed and banished to their tombs. Naggy ended up being cursed by having his heart tied to his stomach by Tunare making his heart grow more everytime he got hungry until he was so big he couldn't leave. I dunno about Vox but she ain't going nowhere either. doomed to be killed by any bored raid force really lol.

I dunno.. The storyline as told by the post-awakening npc's, seems to suggest that Naggy and Vox (the only two elemental dragons mentioned to having been on Norrath at the time of Kera's creation) apparently did get together. And I am in no way bashing your dismissal of their being able to create such a dragon given their apparent weakness or lvl.. but its been bad information in EQ practically since the beginning, that the lvl or power of an npc against players has anything to do with what they are capable of in the lore of the game. In other non-EQ myth about dragons.. they don't die after mating or become drained of some of their power, they actually become stronger for doing so. Thats the reason why there is always a male or female who is more powerful than all the others.. Their the ones doing all the mating and growing stronger in the process (either a female choosing different mates each time so she's the only one growing stronger, or a male seeking out different females). Kinda like a power struggle that each is trying to win.. but I digress.
In EQ lore, it isn't the power of the two dragons that happen to get together.. its what the dragons are that get together. Hence the agreement by the elders and existing dragons at the time, that no two different dragons would ever breed. The mating of a fire dragon and any other type of dragon (Vox for example) would be a combining of two different elemental powers, and the power of their creation would multiply exponentially. As for Naggy and Vox's current situation, it is true that they are both imprisoned.. but moot as to who or how the imprisonment was done.. The most probable explaination is that unknown to their captors.... they did apparently succeed in their plans....

The mating of a fire dragon and any other type of dragon (Vox for example) would be a combining of two different elemental powers, and the power of their creation would multiply exponentially. As for Naggy and Vox's current situation, it is true that they are both imprisoned.. but moot as to who or how the imprisonment was done.. The most probable explaination is that unknown to their captors.... they did apparently succeed in their plans....

Actually the ones who cheated didn't get him beat because the GMs despawned him before they actually had him killed.
However back in Dec 2004, a few guilds from the Rallos Zek server did kill the Sleeper and did it without cheating and with GMs observing them. It was a zerg fest like no other.

You've already proven you're lying, but you're helping the case even more.
After clearing out Sleeper's Tomb, he immediately moves to Skyshrine (takes about half an hour, give or take). After killing Yeli, he despawns. He doesn't stay up that long.
