Do you think a 48 Warriors and a 56 druid can drop him or 48 War and a 56 cleric Or the 56 Druid should just solo him which would be better need to kill him for the quest?!?!?!

Just took him down with a 53 Warrior and a 54 Shaman. Slow and Cripple landed first try. I dotted him 3 times with Ebolt during the battle. If it weren't for KEI, Yvolcarn would have narrowly escaped. He hit my warrior for a max of 145 and min of 44. With 1000+ ac he didn't hit for max often and most hits were in the lower half of that range.
We found him while assembling for ToV raid. Four of us in the mid 50's completely powned him (2 pallies and two shamen). A 48 warrior and a 50's healer can smoke him easy.

Well, in my opinion you stinkin RANGERS drag your mobs all over kingdom come and get people killed constantly cause you think you can MEELE anything, but well....you die! Dont start going on about how bad the druid class is, cos...well in case you hadnt already noticed, your half druid, well i would say 2/3 because you cant tank.
And why dont we get back to the point of this zone!

yeah right. the only reason you could get killed by a quad herd is if you straight up attacked one. after taking a few AE shots, something isnt going to aggro on you just because you came too close to it. i think Fanthiel just proved that he is a KSing d00d.
note how the RANGER is dissing DRUIDS. rangers can barely stay alive even when grouped... better be nice or you wont get any more hand-me-down spells.

If the druid can not keep the mobs within agro range they will agro another player IF that player is initially KoS OR agroed by another mob of the same kind that the druid is Quading.

Last night in CS - I was Quad Charmkiting and this guy popped on my way back to "The Rock" with four wyverens on my tail.
Pulled him - Charmed him - and sent him against his friends :) I had to reapply charm only twice (All 3 lasted full 4 ticks) and then he was in chant kite range (Bout 10% life)
Moderate resists on Fire, Almost no cold chants landed (probably 10%) and about 50% Fufils (Magic) Landed. Good exp - even though he did tear apart 1 of his friends in the process (Only got 1/2 exp for him since my pet did all the work)
He went down - dropped Wyveren Meat and 2pp and change.

As a 47th Bard i believe this to be my Greatest achievment it took me about 3 sow potions and 4 near deaths to take down this 52 mob. I had him down to 10 percent health twice and he gatted and by the time i got back too him he was almost 2/3 health, so the third time i brought him back to his spawn spot and charmed a wyvern to help me finish him off. I can say his cr is better than his mr and fr if that isn't to obvious hope it helps. I used the bard 3 dots cold wasn't working well resisted about 90percent of the time, fire about 50 percent of the time and fufils'sresisted about 25 percent of the time. As far as loot i got a drixie remains a wyvern meat and an uber 5 sp. :) thanks for reading my tale :)

To all you enchanters out there... charm this and you have a nice personal killing machine. Especially good in pvp, since he can't be snared/rooted :)
if he can't be snared/rooted chances are he can't be stunned either, I think charming it would be suicide

ok, not to be a **** or anything, but I play a 51 necro, and let me tell you something. Necros post 49 can solo dark blues nonstop with no downtime and ****** gear. I ahve 175 int and my gear sucks, but all i do is snare, pet, fear, splurt or ebolt, med. while pet kills. takes 1 to 2 mins, depending on if i used splurt or ebolt. next mob i do the same thing, but i use bond of death also to heal. After 2 mobs i am back to full life and mana. I never played a druid so i dont know how long it takes to regen mana normally or anything, but using lich i regen i think, dont quote me, 20 mana per tick, while losing 12 hp per tick sitting, never checked standing. I am an iksar tho, other necro races would lose significantly more hps per tick, i think 12 more, nt sure about that either. But, the point of this whole story is that necros can solo blues faster than druids, if kiting...and if you dont believe me, send me a tell on karana and we can try it
I've never personally seen a 51 necro sloing in cs, but I do see a lvl 54 that is there a lot on Luclin server. And I have to agree with your post. I've already posted this before somewhere else but I'll say it again. When my druid was lvl 53, and the necro was 54, we challenged each other as to who could kill the most wyverns. We both started at full mana. I quaded 4 wyverns as fast as I could and medded back to full and sent him a tell. I figured he'd be shocked that I already 4 down, hehe he says back to me that he has downed 5 wyverns and is rdy for another ( Totally busted my bubble.
So I went over and watched him, and necro's can truely solo almost non stop. From then on I always make it a point before I leave cs for the day or when just passing through to check CoV faction, track down the nearest necro and give him and pet sow and regrowth. hehe they become killing machines then, if they have crack and regen, just try and stay out of the way.

You can solo him without snare or root as a 55 wizard-just make sure u have jboots and KEI on u:-)
He has about 12 khp. I didn't make the final nuke because I really don't like that faction hit since I am still not ally with CoV and want to have my ss armour some day which is waiting in the bank to change in...hehe. So I am not able to say anything about loot. It was just a big fun to try if I can do it. It really takes a while but it's possible. Will make it til end after I got my armour..-p

"sorry man, i don't smoke. gotta eal fokes and all, can be worryin' about meself." he nodded. I noticed a thin blistered welt on his knee, and a small lupine corpse under his massive claw. "Da*ned quad kiters" i said. "They really deserve to be flamed if it weren't for the fact that they nourish my unquenchable ned for platinum through healthy donations when i *frequently* rez them. oh well. here, have a 650dmg-" yvolcie looked down at me in horror and made a notion with his arms groaning and cringing. "no, man...i'm a cleric. its not like i was gonna nuke you! hah hah hah hah hah." then we laughed, and he gave me ph4t l3wt for a cheal, because no one had ever actually tried to help the poor guy before. the Kerafyrm awoke (damn you FoH!) and killed us all. jerk.

Easily soloed without a pet.
Finished fight with 1000hp and 25mana.
and for those questioning, a shaman with fbss, shaman speed and epic can do a decent amount of dmg just meleeing while tanking.
certainly more than double any other caster class trying to melee.

I don't give a rats *** what your ac is, if you are a druid you BETTER have enough mana for evac or that emergency heal when my cleric is casting CH and it looks like it won't hit me fast enough. Same goes for shaman, its not like your single weilding non double attack *** is going to do any meaningful melee damage--you are better off keeping everyone buffed with as much as you can and sitting on your *** while the tanks do the work. Its so flipping stupid to read about Joe Blow and his soloing buddies slamming "real" druids and shaman who have a clue about group play and their roles in it. Maybe if you were to spend some time learning some dungeon skills instead of quad kiting your way to 60 (you know who you are) people would want to spend more time with you and you'd have an easier time finding a group.

i soloed him at 48,about 5 minuts ago,my songs have been able to him him kinda sence 45<but nit eniugh to take down he has an ugly regen> with a walrus skin drum it took be around about 45 minuts
