I heard that you must give the bones to another NPC. Can anybody test it ? I heard it is someone like Jailmaster Lius or something like that. If I pass by Erudin I will check if you must give them to him but I won't travel there for nothing if I am not sure... =)

No, you do give them to Markus. The quest tells you to go see Jailmaster Lius for the remains, but he will tell you that the Heretic's have escaped. You can goto the docks and kill Elial Brook. He drops bones everytime. Take the bones and give them to Markus.
Well, he's in Erudin Palace, as the site notes. While I suppose the palace is technically in Erudin, as far as EQ is concerned it's a seperate zone. This guy is at the top of the Gatecallers tower in the Palace, and accepts "bones" of Heretics, usually the Heretic necro that hangs out at the docks and is repeatedly killed by people trying to up their Craftkeepers faction to do the Inert Potion quest. Since you accumulate bones while offing this fellow, you might as well give them to Markus - there's not a lot else to do with them. ;-)
