Wizard. I spotted Chaos Burn, Leap of Stomsparks, Claw of Gozzrem, Restless Ice Comet, Wildflash Barrage, Chaos Scintillation, Ethereal Brand, Coldburst, and Thricewoven Radiance.
Snares and roots without issue, doesn't summon, and either isn't social with the shades in the room, or they have a very small assist range.

As a ranger, I can't speak for Shroud of Stealth, but sneak doesn't work either. Unlike most other mobs, even while faced away Visus Zethon scowl.
