She's easily the strongest mob on the 2nd floor, besides the angry librarian.
As a 39+ enchanter, you can safely charm her with Cajoling Whispers and use her to camp the whole library singlehandedly. You won't have to do anything but pull, root, and keeping the charm up. Pacify surrounding mobs, do single pulls, sic her on them, and sit back and practice your knitting. Make sure the mobs are rooted at 10% so they don't run and bring more.
She hits very hard -- an avg of 60-80 dmg per hit -- and very fast, so I recommend keeping Rune III up for when the charm breaks and she's not a happy camper. If your MR is high enough to resist her nukes, Rune is all you need to keep her from dealing any damage until you can recharm.
A slowed/disempowered angry librarian is an easy fight for her. So, if you're looking to get your Three Toothed Key, she's your best friend...because we all know the pets up to Yegoreff's Animation are fairly pitiful.
With the ghostly teacher, I went from 39 to 42 on the 2nd floor while hunting for raw supple/runic hides for research :) Liked her so much I took her to the 3rd floor, where she STILL pwn'd.

Fought two of these today...the first one was blue and the second was white to a 37 paladin. There didn't seem to be much difference in their power so I'm guessing they're level 36-37
She is easy to single pull and eay to beat. It's recommended to have high MR when fighting her. Me and a 34 cleric took her down zillions of times.
She cons blue to me(39)

Wow, don't talk unless you know what your talking about. Just because it sais she is one level, doesnt mean she is that level. If she cons red to a 30 shaman, hrmm, guess what, she must be higher.

She took out the 30 shammy in the group in 2 casts, and was giving a 51 druid a bit of flack (smacked him with the ruler a few times)I was a warrior of the 28th season and she did not like me being out of my seat... "I have to go to the bathroom. But, I don't have a hall pass" (WHACK)

the teacher drops the cyllibus which has INT/WIS and other stats (can't remember atm)

The teacher dropped this thing tonight -- any ideas what it's for?
It's a magician research component.
It has been a while since I hunted in Dalnir or COM, I don't quite remember where it dropped. If I am not mistaken, I have seen it dropped in Dalnir and COM also. Maybe somewhere else also. It's uncommon but not rare. It's a bit less common than the gloves which is also for mage research, I think.

I have been told this is for research. (Not absolutely sure of this, but this is what I am advised.)

ummm... just to correct a couple of mistakes in my post.. the spell she dropped was Tumultuous Strenth.. One out of prolly 7-10 times she was lvl 37.

The Ghostly Teacher was an even con to my 37 Cleric last night, but was mostly blue... I'm guessing 33-37 is the correct range. She also dropped the spell Tumultuous (prolly spelled wrong P). lvl 39 Shaman group strength buff.

The Ghostly teacher spawns in the alcove to the right from the entry. She spawns with a student, and is def higher level than level 30. The three times I killed her she conned blue to me at level 49, and didn't drop anything.
