A group from my guild, including me (42 chanter at the time), a 58 mage, a 52 Pally, a 45 war, a 47 wiz, and a 44 cler took this chick down. Tough fight but we did ok till a bat spawned. We didnt have any trouble with it but it ran to the torch room (which had respawned during the fight, we had to evac, but it was a good raid. Tesserina is pretty tough with the high MR and charms but she is not that tough with a good group. When we killed her she dropped the whip and the Harnessed Soul gem

Ouch!
Ok we had 7 people, all low 50's, 4 of us with pets...BIG mistake!
She has a wicked charm on her and a major MR so good luck on trying to stun and stop her spells. All our pets went evil lol and decided to slaughter our cleric and our necro, then Tserrina thought it would be fun to charm me, 51 enchanter, and nuke the rest of my group away. No one could barely get off a spell due to the pets interrupting us for 52 a hit.
If you want to take on this lvl 51 ench, I suggest a group of 50+, no less than 6.
Avoid casters with pets, and makesure you get high lvl MR spells becuz you do NOT want this mob charming you.

I'm curious what other people's opinions are on having pets involved in the fight with Tserrina? Last night we had a level 52 Reaver in our group with his best pet. As soon as Tserrina spawned she immediately charmed the pet. Luckly it was a SK pet and wasn't too tough, the only thing that really sucked was we had given him a couple of those strength stealing torches. Anyway, I'm wondering, if we had a Necro or a Mage, would you suggest using their pets?

DO NOT FIGHT HER WITH PETS if u do she will just charm them..(some kinda necro/chennter hy-breed or somthing) most likly she will charm them and all ahvoc will go down trains and what not just get ppl to bash her good she has preety high resist's but is cake!!!...<note> this is only my oppion pls do what u wish )

Cast resist magic on the pets, they will have higher magic resist than most people do if you buff them with a 40pt mres. A mage or necro pet will probably do a lot better in this department because they can interrupt casting a LOT better than any other pets. Toss a mres on them and you'd prolly waste any 51 caster. I do this in duels all the time, basically casting on a pet with resist buffs is a huge waste of time because even if something lands on it like a charm or root spell, it wont hold for long.

As for tserrina's magic resist have you tried using tashania and a shaman or mage malosi? I know you get beat up a lot casting tashania, but as long as you have a decent cleric it shoud be a lot easier to get off a slow than without mres debuffs. This is standard operating procedure for high lvl mobs in any group, just shedding some light.

We killed her with 8 people. Had 55 pally, me(51 pally), 53 druid, 49 cleric, 47 pally, 55 enchanter, 46 mage, and 41 bard. The fight lasted well over ten minutes. She is completely MR. Tons of hp. Hit in the high 100s regularly. We made the mistake of not clearing the torch room after we moved into her hidden hallway. The bats are a painfully slow respawn and we should have known better than to leave the torches alive. Kick *** fight but we all died because she ran and since she's 100%MR, we couldn't root her or stun her and she aggroed ALL the torches. We killed her and looted her, but we all died shortly after. Our chanter kicks ***, but couldn't handle 10 torches on all of us. We could have all survived had we known that the key to the 7th floor(Tserrina's floor) also opens the one that leads to the mirror room directly above the torch room(large metal key I think that drops off the effreeti dressing for the cold weather, hehe) We thought it was Tserrinas key and our chanter kept trying it to no avail, and we died. Bottom line, be ready to zone out through the mirror room with the key after you kill her, or clear the torches after killing the bats. Take your pick or die. The CR is soooo not fun. However, if you do get wiped out but manage to loot her and that person gates, the left mirror on the first floor will take you straight up to the mirror room on the last(7th) floor. Just take someone who has the key from the efreeti and open the door, invis, and drag the bodies to that spot for rezz. The top part of the floor is safe.

Well... we killed her with a group of 4. 53 enchanter, 52 wizard, 51 cleric, and 49 warrior. She is not 100% magic resistant. If you go to the end of the bat hall, away from the torch room, she will not run, at least not very far, and you don't have the worry about the torches and familiars. Over the weekend we killed her 6 times, and only died twice, and this was was Sunday when the chanter wasn't around and I went LD in the middle of the fight. After corpse recovery we went after her again, just the wiz, cleric, and me the warrior. We had her down to where she was almost dead, but because she had been wandering the dungeon, we couldn't get back to our normal spot at the end of the hall to kill her so we pulled her to the mirror room. That is a bad idea. Learn from our mistakes, she will gate, or TP herself to her spawn point once she is about to die and then she will summons you. Also, if you're working your way through the tower and you're with a cleric, the cleric should always be the first person to loot new keys. This is what saved our butts. As soon as something went wrong, the only person it mattered to us to get out was the cleric. As soon as I was summoned, the cleric went straight to the exit window. As soon as I went LD, the cleric immediately gated. The nice thing about Tserrina, she can not see invis. This allowed us to pull corpses without having to drop down from the bridge after she summoned us, we were also lucky enough to avoid the familiars, which CAN see invis. Luckly, we had been killing her all weekend so getting back to the 7th floor was no problem at all with Tserrina's Key. If I had not gone LD, we would have killed her the first time with just the three of us, she didn't have a pet, she wasn't buffed up, and we were in the right spot to kill her. After the LD, she had her pet and was uber buffed and we managed to get her close to death and would have been successful if she didn't TP.

What was your group comprised of when you killed her? Seems like this would be a fun dungeon to "to" from top to bottom, and I'd like to avoid 7 levels of CR naked.

I just took her out tonight... we had a bit of overkill to do it though. we had 2 groups... including (if i can remember right) 1 49 wizard (me) 55 mage 51 enchi 46 warrior 50 rogue 44 rogue 50 SK 52 ranger, 51 shaman and 49 cleric.... i think... and it was really easy.... personally i really liked the set up of where you got to camp her.... there is a fake wall and 4 rooms and a hallway.. there is a bat in each room... no doors.. walk down to the end of the hall and there is a hexagonal shaped room... from there pull the bats... (can't remember name but they are "a <something> bat and after you kill each one of them either a Enraged Vampire Pops from the bats or Tserrina pops... however i have no idea what the pop rate of her is... well there are 4 bats in the rooms (1 in each) and they have a 30 minute spawn time (give or take) for us we cleared to first set of bats and no tserrina... on the second set the second bat spawned her... with the melee power it was incredibly easy to kill her... however most all of my spells were resisted... of the 5 ice comets i tried only 1 got through and it only did 222... after that i tryed stuns with the little mana i had left and none went through. people in my group said to stun to make sure she didn't gate but i couldn't really see her because of all the people so i have no idea if she tryed or not... she is always level 51 and for us she dropped the symbol, gem and key, and come little crap... unfortunately i won nothing *sniff*.. oh well, the 44 rogue died but got a rez and we left... all in all a fun little raid... i think it would be even better to farm her until i got a symbol... nice neckpiece and the only thing i would have wanted to roll for

geez, took that many of you?

My friend used to play 3 chars, a 52 war, 52 cleric, and 52 enc. He used those 3 characters and pretty much killed her between 3 and 4 times a day just for fun, he already had all her drops. It just took his 3 chars to drop her no prob, kill the bat, she pops, kill her, just don't give her time to buff herself and the rest of the floor.

There is no "eigth" floor. Floors are set up like 1,2,3,4,5,6,6B,7. Tserrina spawns on floor "7" and VahlSera on "6B." Get an emulator or ask a GM to port you to 0,0,0 if you dont' believe me.

we camped her for a few hours the other night, she is a random spawn on the 7th floor not the 8th. She can spawn out of any of the bats on the 7th floor sometimes back to back so be ready for her she seems to be a hybrid caster of sorts was casting darkness line of spells but also can charm. In the few hours we were up there we got some nice drops:

Tserrina's Symbol:Ac3 5cha 5wis 5int 40mana neck item

Tserrina's Staff:12 52 2hb 5dex 6cha 10int 15hp 55mana 8svPoison 8svDisease Effect:Spectre Lifetap (proc is a 57hp lifetap)

Tserrina's Whip:7 22 1hs 5str 8dex 4agi Effect:Muscle Lock 1 (proc is supposed to be 60%slow and neg 60dex from what i hear but it is currently broken)

Tserrina's Robe:Ac8 3cha 6int 10hp 50mana 5svCold 10svMagic

All these items are no drop...she also drops a Harnessed Soul Gem: 6int 35mana effect:reclaim energy mage only. she drops this as well as a key everytime

made it to the 4th floor , still getting keys and some lame but neat looking Gnome Skin Armor

the keys are such a pain , and , one question to whoever made it up past level 4
are any of the other keys no rent ?
i heard some were , and , i'm just curious

neat looking zone , especially the library . . seemed like a classic library scene gone . .well , wrong . .

her robe looks exactly like the blackened crystaline robe, which is a rare drop(3% chance) in crystal caves off any herbalist. I got it off my first herbalist. its good to get the new expansions on release day.

haha no your wrong...it doesn't look anything like the blackened crystalline robe. It goes off the model used for the crimson robe of alendine except with deep navy blue replacing the background and a bright blue on the sash. From what I know both this robe and the blackened are totally unique in design
