There is a mirror on floor 7 that i havent found the key for. I've heard there is an eigth floor. My question is how the foke do i get to floor 8 .
There is no floor 8. The mirror you refer to can be opened by a GM with their master key, which opens everything in the game. It takes you to Iceclad, outside the tower.
Where did you hear that the locked mirror went outside (like the others)? I've heard so many conflicting things about this mirror:
1. Portal to a new plane
2. Portal to 8th floor (some say data files confirm this, some say deny)
3. Portal to outside (you)
4. Portal to nowhere yet (like in NL... for futre)
What I'd like to hear is this: does anyone know *anything* about this first-hand? Has anyone seen a conclusive bit of info about this? Apparently there's info in the new player guide that came with the trilogy. I'll look that up myself. Other than that, I'm not sure where to go....

There is a portal to 8th floor, my friend (55 druid) went there with a epic war and killed lots of stuff in 8th floor. He told me the 8th floor drops very good rogue and bard gear. Like this side for rogue and other for bards. Too bad he didnt know how to get the key /.

The key is a two part thing... The War epic is one, and I am not sure what the other is... Basically, the war will click at the same time (or right after) the person with the second item. When that happens, the group id ported to the center of floor 8 (be ready some nasty stuff agroes)... There are enraged werewolves, vampiric bats, and some sort of wolf here.
The loot is very predictable here, all no drop, and decent for 40-ish. First on the front side of the room, bard gear drops, and on the back, druid gear. After that cycle, it's rogue on ne side, and ranger on other, then wizzy and shaman, then cleric and chanter, then war and necro. Didn't see any SK or BL drops at all.
Once you get done killing, there is a button to stop the spawns. It is on the north side of the room, and looks similar to the elevetor button in the New Tanaan library. The spawn stop lasts 3 hours, and also disables the port in. The only way out is to be ported...
Now for the real great spoiler... I'm lying just like the guy I'm replying to was lied to.

Killed her twice last night with 60 ranger
myself (43 pally) 45 Shammy, 53 Wizard and
54 enchanter.
Yeah was not difficult, and we had not real
healers, me and the shammies heals being 270.
But there was no real scare, but she did beat
our main tank the Ranger down to two bubbles.
She is fun but all she drops is int gear.

couldn't figure out where on the website to post this and decided this forum might be decent. I aqquired an issue of "The Dark Truth" called "Dark Bargains" which was no rent, off a SG believe it or not. Anyway, the book talked of a bargain being made between Venril Sathir, veterins of EQ history might know who I mean, and Tserrina. Honestly I usually just toss these books out, but I thought the fact that it included Tserrina was interesting. We had a lot of people, lowest being myself 34 at the time sk, and a couple really high people, we took twelve peeps in and when we got to the top, all the melee circle beat her, and the wizzy and mage sat back and nuked her, while our 60, and 57 cleric kept everyone alive :)

Dropped her yesterday, with a strange mix of pickup groupies. I'm not going into who's more uber and can solo her or whatever...
Anyhow.. Bring an enchanter, and have them manasieve her. Also casting group MR isn't a bad thought. Is what we did, and her casting was much slowed by the chanter sieving, and none of our group got feared/charmed/etc.

I won't even BS and say, "Haha! She went down sooo easily," because honestly, she was layin' down some paaaaaaiiiinnnn! Tee-heh, all in all, a very fun kill. Mort(banker in Thurg) loves/d the staff.
Drops were the staff, key(we killed her specifically so I could get the key.. talk about friends, no? =D), soul gem, aaannnddd.. I forget the last one.. sadly, none of us could use any of her drops and we were the only ones in the zone(it's underrated on Bertoxx).
Ragadast and Tweakie said they'd taken her down by themselves before.. but I somehow doubted that seeing as how Ragamuffin was celestial healing Tweak(the warrior) by the end of the fight instead of complete healing. =0

If you enter 7 and she's up (i.e., on track), she and her pet will be buffed to high heaven and harder to kill.
If she's not up, she'll pop from the death of a (lower level) bat (cons green or low blue to a 51 -- thanks Ithiss from Brell for this info) and won't be buffed. FYI, the placeholder bats respawn about every hour...

Ok we owned this witch. She dropped the symbol, Soul gem and the Key. Our group was basicly this:
56 Sk
42 Cleric
46 Warrior
41 Pally
46 or 47 Bard (dont remember off hand)

In two cases someone was feared or charmed but the cleric debuffed worked perfectly. And oh yeah she spawned on the third or fourth bat we pulled to the room we camped in.
And yes he is very very MR, I'm sure if not for the SK we would never have been able to pull this off, but we did. I got a pic if someone just really needs to see it.

Ok, I will beat it, 52? war, 52? clr, 44 bard, a 41 monk, and a 51 enc. thats only 5 ppl with 1 healer

Anyone know the respawn time? Does she spawn every time you kill the bats or do you have to wait a couple hours sometimes?

I'm trying to nail the spawn time down better. I will post it once I have the chance.

More specifically, What's the respawn timer on the BATS in her hallway?

It's random, you kill the bats, and there is a chance Tserrina will spawn out of one of the bats, the other stuff that spawns out of the bats are the enraged vampires, both male and female, only the female's cast. It is COMPLETELY random, no you can't trigger her by killing the other floors bosses, no you can't trigger her by killing all of the other named mobs in the zone, no she is not triggered by killing the shades on 1, she is not triggered by killing the lone shade on 6A. She is not triggered, period. Nor is there a minimum or maximum time between spawns, My friend and I have gotten her to spawn twice in a row (2 bats in a row), and we've also seen it happen where we kill 20 bats and get no Tserrina.

Posted: Mar 19 2002 at 6:05 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) OMFG i cant stand all you morons i was on everlore and they said she was resistant to everything thats bull **** i took her out with a 60 monk 60 enchanter a 60 cleric and me a 60 necro wtf fear stacked but once when she resisted those bats were mezed and the monk killed them all her pet was destroyed and it took us like what 1:20 to kill her
We killed her 6 times tonight, the group we had was: 60 necro, 57 necro, 55 druid (me)...later our 57 necro left and was replaced by a 59 warrior.
She's indeed very MR, we couldn't land root, snare, necro mez nor anything else magic-based. However, fire and cold based nukes landed for full damage 70% of time and the necros had no problem dotting her, but when I tried to cast on her my magic-based dot (*very* rarely resisted), it didn't land :(
The Charm, Fear and Darkness spells she casted were easily resisted with 120 MR. She was quite easy to kill with this group, I was chainhealing either the pet or the warrior and the necro/s lifetapping and dotting.... the problems started when the pet got charmed, we had no one to tank her and for some reason we couldn't dispell it, but finally she died.
oh well... what she dropped:
1. Key, Harnessed Soul Gem, Tserrina's Robe
2. Key, Harnessed Soul Gem, Tserrina's Symbol
3. Key, Harnessed Soul Gem, Tserrina's Staff, Tserrina's Whip
4. Key, Harnessed Soul Gem, Tserrina's Whip

the robe doesn't look that rare, we wanted two Symbols and it just dropped once..though people said it was the most common item (besides of the mage-only item, which dropped every time)

We had tried her the night before and evacuated, because pet got charmed. So, if you have pet, give him MR buff and elemental blanket.

We took her out tonight, 53 cleric 51 pally 52 SK 51 necro 53 wizzie and 50 chanter. Piece of cake, really. When you get to the 7th floor, go through the banner behind the stairs. Kill bats until she spawns. She hits in the 150 range, only thing difficult about her is charms/fears, but with decent MR, piece of cake for us. Dropped symbol and gem.

Ok..so what's your point?
Yes the higher level MOBs require higher level PCs to help. I seriously doubt any level 60 without all the best uber loot in the game could take down Tserina solo. Consider her a PC that has acquired all the best Magic resist loot in the game and is wielding an epic. That's who you're fighting and any group of mid 40s would be slaughtered...You need to bring along high levels.

Not a single spell landed, but didn't try that hard. We basically buffed the crap out of the warrior, medded back up, and saved all mana for heals. Cleric and shaman (me) finished with about 40% mana left each (that's with the shammy having kei up through the whole fight). She spawned after the second bat and dropped the key and the Symbol.

Cleric and shaman (me) finished with about 40% mana left each (that's with the shammy having kei up through the whole fight). She spawned after the second bat and dropped the key and the Symbol.
