From what I saw, they will not aggro but they will social aggro with other creatures. Had a manatee join in when I pulled a sea elephant. Also it seems most animals in the immediate area will join in if you fight a bulthar, ulthork, etc.

I stood right between 2 for like 5 minutes and they didn't agro on me I didn't con but I assumed I didn't ahve good faction with anything but thuradin on velious. I was even medding and then saw 1 behind and no agro wierd eh?
