every time i go to kael either raid or to check on kt or statue i kill him cuz i can just stand behind him hit duelist and backstab a double backstab can kill him easy and he is always dead before my duelist runs out so he has about 1500 hp at tops double 600's backstab will take him to 20 percent and hit auto attack usually kills him in the one round

this guy has insane regen (not as muhc as cazel or dragons though) but still its nice, when my guild was raiding kael we had to wait for ppl so my pally, a mink, a war, and a wiz beat him up was tough untill the wizz nuked him=)

Yes i am very sure the wizzy nuked him =/ Especialy when he is 100% magic resistent.

Ive never landed a single spell on him and 3 pets can take him easy

Every time my Guild gets ready to storm Kael from the EW side I mess with this permarooted Giant, pretty fun if your waiting on Guildies. ;)

I like this guy w/ my 46 rog...Practice BW on him and back up when I am low hps. only thing better is maybe lava in LS

I attacked him with my monk (40 at the time) and he hit in the 20's-30's.... took out about 300hp's.... so, i dont think he is lvl 60 or i would have died. BUT he IS 100% magic resistant... 54 shaman got resisted of ALL spells.

I just went to kill him....he hit to 60 max, havent got alot of hp and can move when you hit him...he can be rdy to attack but will not attack you if you come to him (unless you hit him) so it's not a terror =)

Running throught Kael 1 day I decided to try this guy,Yes he is 100% MR & is rooted to 1 spot,I tryed every speel i got on him just for fun (44 Druid) seems that only debuffs will stick dunno why.+ he does not atk for 350 or 150 or even 100 me being way to low lvl for this zone anyway,he was only hittin me for 60,every time for 60.I gave up and took off

If he has a lvl 60s HP and hits like a lvl60 The only thing that makes him NOT a lvl 60 is Con SO he is just Underconned

I noticed some posts claiming it hits for 350's etc. However, my monk (lvl42 Iksar) kicked his butt last night. Not an easy fight but I wasn't buffed or anything.It was an easier fight than Frost Giant Scouts (which can still kick my butt 9 out 10 times)

One day, I was bored so I made a level 1 halfling rogue and got him to Skyshrine :) Indeed, he conned even at level one.
NOTHING taller than 10' needs to live! PERIOD.
As for him being 100% MR, no chance. My 53 air pet can take him down without any buffs at all. With a full set of buffs, the pet only takes about 25% damage. He does resist about 1/4 of my spells completely and about 1/3 more partially, but the rest toast his butt off.
This was the first place I ever remember seeing giant meat drop. Sounds naughty, doesn't it? :)

Since the lvl 60 wiz bane spell is unresistable 2k dmg to giants does this apply to a 100% MR giant? I'm dying to know hehe

Ok I am confused... I See this dude everytime I enter from EW... he is green.. I guess level 1. He doubles for 70-80's against my 950 ac... And I can solo him pretty well at 46 (but I have good gear) he does move from his spot. I'm curious.. are there many?

Permanently "rooted" - He will not move from his spawn point ever.
Doubles for 350s
Kicks for high 100s
Bashes for high 100s
Does not cast any spells
Will assist if trained past, but again, will not move from spawn point.

Actually I know of at least one Velious quest mob who is easy to kill... the named drake in Skyshrine who gives the Cobalt Scar key quest. He can be soloed by a say lvl 45 pretty easy, and gives a big faction hit (went from scowl to threateningly with giants in only 2 kills). Easy way to get giant faction, only problem is I decided I like dragons better :p

I can confirm the recruiter at EW zone in is level 1, I got a mule (warrior of rallos) over there with some help, and he conned white as I was level 1 with no xp.

I tried killin this guy the night Velious came up, at 55 he conned green. I didnt make pet , just rooted and dotted and he has a ton of HP, like 13k or so. Once , root broke, he hit for 120. I got him to about 25% hp and root broke, he double attacked for 350 each. So be warned !!

Heh. The answer to this guy is arrows. Lots of them. I'm on Giant faction, but I saw this guy carrying a crossbow one time and, being a ranger, I had to have it. So, many arrows later, he died and I looted a Coldain Crossbow. Dmg 30, delay 15, range 100, dmg bonus 6. I was jumping out of my chair till I saw the NO RENT and NONE/NONE. What quest is this for? I've never seen him with it before, so it must be rare.

He is for the Coldain Head quest. All quest mobs in Velious have a ton of HPs and hit for massive damage.

As a matter of fact, (if we are talking about the same recruiter that lives just inside Kael at the Great Divide zone) he is level 1. How do I know? I got too cocky with invis on, wandered in the wrong area and got smacked.. so with a few friends we made up a level 1 mule that follows Rallos Zek, and bound him in the city to /corpse me out (and since they aggro on /corpse it was /corpse, death, /corpse, death etc etc). Well, the recruiter conned white to the mule..
And on a side note, snow bunnies conned yellow :)
