dropped crystalized shadow belt for me today on vulak'err server.
I can confirm that as of this writing there are still spell scrolls in her loot table. Tumultuous Strength dropped for me today but it's not the one I'm looking for. Grrrrr. This mob is probably the easiest to kill and easiest to get to and single pull of all the Velious mobs that drop mid 30's level spells.
Seems to have a respawn timer of approx. 19 minutes so if you're camping her for a spell scroll, be prepared for a long wait to get the one you need to drop. The only good thing is her and the assistant usually drop a handful of plat so it won't be a totally profitless camp.

I've had her spawn as both dark blue and light blue at 38 so not the same level every time.

Solo'd with a 32 Mage...3 nukes and she went boom
All these people are saying low 40's group...
I was in a group (35 Warrior) with a 27 Pally / 26 Warrior / 28 Necro / 26 Pally / 28 Druid and we were bombing. We were basically clearing the 2nd floor waiting for Angry spawn. I was tanking (3k hp) and we had the Necro with a charmed Scholar. I was never below 70% hp, the Druid healing during the fight, even after a triple pull, and then the Pallys would heal me back to 100%. Pally Soothed when there were too many, it was a breeze. Unfortunately we never got the Angry pop before I had to camp, then I come back the next day and end up aggroing half the room on my way out, I make it out with about 30% health, and get aggroed by 2 shadow guard things outside...

No Harm touch that I'd noticed but you can take some severe nukes from this mob as well as the Scholars and Students. Seems to be a mix of Chanters and Necros and if you get nailed with Tashan's, the Nec's wil make your life miserable with DoT's and DD's

Dropped a nice SK tunic for us (it had to rot, bumer). AC18 or 20 and plus lots of INT and other stats.

In the two or so hours i was grouped here she dropped the Homework(which I rolled a 98 on and later sold for 400pp)twice. She can be very nasty. I'm not sure if it was her or one of the other mobs we pulled but I got harm touched for 241 three times in a row. What had seemed like a lot of hit point(buffed up to about 1.2k) were suddenly gone as I "Writhed in the Grip of Agony". Be careful out there peeps=)

OK here is how it happen for me i am a gnome wizzy with 208int. I myself have no problem soloing her as long as she doesn't interupt my casting to much as in response to the 40th warr that soloed him you are full of it she double hits for 78 on me and as fast as if she has an fbss on her. I suggest that when she pops or before you aggro her i would buff myself with any elemental buffs and ac and hp buffs it helps alot at 44 wizzys get a new fire and cold buff works great here. I went up there at 40 on my warrior and solo'd her, she took about 400hps away which is about a bub, she also droped a 3int 10sv mag 15mana range slot which i let rot because it sucks.

That range slot item you think sucks, is called "Students Homework". Which sells for 800pp or more. Just thaught I would let you know =)

was in a full group of folk, high 30's to low 40's. We're on 2nd floor trying to trigger spawn of "Angry Librarian" who drops key to 3rd floor... We're killing and killing and... lots of carnage, undead students and scholars not a problem for our powerful team... all of a sudden I notice our chanter has just died.. from near full health. He's gone!! ...no more crowd control. What happened ? BOMB <there is explosion noise>. One of the tanks drops.. dead, 2 down... Ahhh..WT-Hell!?! The regular Librian and Assistant have repopped and "Angry" or not, she appears to be really pissed! You see, after having put her down easily twice, we screwed up and didn't watch her spawn point. Well she is now standing there, mana-dumping into the party pretty much uncontested, dropping party memebers one by one like talking students in a library being wacked in the head with big heavy erasers! We divert to her, but it is too late... She punishes a 3rd victim, and a fourth !!!! AHHHH..RUN RUN My heart now racing, the two out of six of us surviving flee and reach the exit teleporter.... /sigh.. catch breath.. start figuring out how to get the bodies. A high 30's low 40's group is dessimated.
Today's lesson is watch for the librarian when follin' in the library... DOH! The lessons of grade school are too easily forgotten!

I have to concur about the nasty nuking. I'm a 36th monk and didn't think to run up and whack her to death with dual wield/double attack/flying kick, I tried to pull her back to the party. Bad move...the waves of nukes took me down fairly quickly but my comrades were able to avenge my death. And our cleric REZ'd me so it was a small lesson learned. So yeah, she's a wussy pure caster, but lay down the physical smack, don't bother wasting your time trying to pull her..."LOADING...PLEASE WAIT".

In a group, shadowbone, you can prolly get away with 29+ since necros got such nice undead nukes and the new luclin dot. Depends on your tank and healer ). With two 45ish tanks, we just pulled the whole floor, I PB stunned and the students dropped like flies, very low hp. I was 37 I think at the time. Once the whole floor was clear, POP there she is.
Seen her one other time when with just a tank and cleric, we'd pull from one to four at a time. When did she pop? Of course the time we pulled four, lol. She popped off the first dead student. The three of us were: Ogre war 38ish, cleric 34 chanter 36. Hope that helps shed some perspective ;).
Oh ya, when we pulled four and got her, me and cleric both were almost oom after battle.

The Angry Librarian drops the key for floor 3, the Student's Homework, and the Teacher's Syllabus. She's a random spawn after death. I've never seen her spawn after killing the librarian though, only students.

She does drop something...I got a Crystallized Shadow Tunic from her last night.
Stats are 18AC STR+3 STA+2 CHA+2 WIS+3 HP+10 MANA+5
My party killed her about 15 times, and this was the only thing she ever dropped. So I'll assume it is a very rare drop from this NPC.

she drops NOTHING she is just there as another mob, no special loot, the one that drops the tunic is an angry RELATIVE, on the 5th floor, please make sure your info is correct before you state false information!

She has a small CHANCE to drop some of the other tunics in the zone, as do some of the other mobs. Around 1% of these drop something.
