In Crystal Caverns, Fragment of Fear: Known to spawn at the end of the long tunnel in the southern part of the zone (PH "a regal crawler" at about -585, -945, -530). Spawns 2x "a crystal servant" at 70%, 40%, and 10% health.

ok Queen is SO easy to camp...just sit across from her pad in the water...just inthe doorway...have your tank or monk or whatever pull everything they possibly can...kill em and loot em so incase you need to run..you can...velium crawlers seem to be just as hard as the queen for me im a lvl 42 def nec and i can solo the queen wit ease if she is pulled...my pet can take just about all the spiders in the halls and such..the velium crawlers hit just alittle bit harder and can realy do some damage if you got both of them on you...i have never seen more than two at one time...and they do raom around...they swim under the bridges to the water falls in the broken bridge room withthe 4 terrors...then they swim back...OH and i have killed the queen about 30-40 times all on diff occations...she has dropped everything BUT the CCS and the BCR...herbalist drops the BCR...and the CCS...NEVER has the queen dropped the CCS or BCR...if your looking for one of those dont waste your time here...

yuo people all buggin ive been soloing the queens room since lvl 49 its easy i nuke 1 mob it comes out i kill it wash rinse repeat. just sit yourself down across the water from queen and nuke let it hit u and pet will take over from there.
you can get very nice loot in a few hours there. the mess of the queen i allways give to newbie palys. you cant sell it for more than 200 pp on druzzil ro unless the person buying it has no clue. 1k to 3k you must be out of your mind

heres the lowdown on Queen Drachnia...
hits for 90 at max, WILL proc a 200 dmg spell that actually takes out all your buffs even if it doesnt kill you. my guild killed her about 10 times, got 3 messengers, 1 robe 10 sceptres, 1 websheild and a crap load of silks

Last night i was with a group that camped the Queen, 35 wiz, 35 chanter, 39 necro, and a 51 druid (we were helping her with the quest). We make our way to the room, with little problem, spiders went down fairly easy. We get to the room, there are 5 mobs in there. The druid single pulls them, we kill them. We move onto the island, sit and wait for the Queen to show her ugly head. She pops, and does not aggro us. So we sit and med, full mana, she goes down - only resisted me once, Force Shock (what a suprise). We did kill her, but she took some out of us. Druid got the thing she needed, quest rod; i got the robe (yea - won the roll). We were feeling awesome, we decide to camp the room.

I wish we had had a tank, we could have held the room - but without tank, we did not last. WE did kill her though, and without tank.
But who had the last laugh, hehe. Oh well, i plan on going back tonight - revenge is sweet. And this time ill be kicking her butt with her robe on me :op

i paid 600 for mine on innoruuk, which is to say i was totally TAKEN. should have done my homework, shouldn't go for more than 200.

ok guys first off, i camped her 2 days in a row (mainly for fun) and for 4 hrs each day.. it was me (lvl 44 rogue) and my friend lvl 51 paladin, now i dont know why you are all having a problem rooting or snaring when we rooted it stuck usually first time and for 90% of the fight. On the 3rd day for fun we had a ranger join he was lvl 48 and i think she resisted his snare once the entire time. She for us in those 3 days was a VERY common spawn every 20 min on the dot once in a while her PH's would spawn but rarely. Everyone got a robe she dropped one every 20 min in fact i have 6 of them now (different characters since there lore i cept having my paladin friend duel kill me and revivie me to leave an extra robe on the corpse so i could loot as many as i wanted then later dragged and transfered them to twinks. Paldin friend got 4, on the 3rd day ranger got 1 we werent there long each day.. i mean why stay there when you get everything in a couple hours. On the first day 2 retainers spawned (each dropped there Crystalized Blade) a crystal grinder just outside he dropped the crystal grinder, got 2 MoS's 1 2h cryst blade, 2 web shields, 10 robes, 286 crystalized silk, lvl 43 (was 42 at the time) and half way to lvl 43, just got 44 on the 3rd day. INSANE exp.. even the 51 paladin got a couple bars of exp. needless to say she was pathetically easy.. my paladin friend and i had a bet that i could solo her with just his heals. (thats when i got the first MoS) she doesnt hit hard and maybe i have good gear (camped Skyshrine for 3 weeks for my FULL sentry suit) get a friend to help clear the way to her i at 43 could single pull her room with throwing daggers, dont stress to much she's not hard.. pretty pethetic for such GREAT loot (NOT complaining) and i dont think she has 4k hp.. maybe less.. she seemed to have hp like a acster and hit like a bard(which means weak for her lvl) she does proc an AE 200 dmg spell its a dd not multi tick dd and she only does it once a fight IF she's lucky.. sorry bout the long post.. good luck.

That reallyt reminds me of the Grand Elusa from a series of books i read, and you know that spider lives in a crstal cave, and she is a white spider. Now im a big fan od eq but, i think they are runnin out of ideas.

You think they are going to put a 20 base damage weapon on a level 40 mob for a rogue to use? A rogue epic is only base damage 15 and they do SICK amounts of damage with that on backstabs. Imagine what a 20 damage would do and then realize that this would be dropping off a level 40 mob with a better backstab damage than the epic (Which, while being one of the easiest epics, still is more considerable than whacking a single level 40 mob).

Guild group spent 6 hours there and easily kept room clear. Toughest part was breaking the spawn. About 6 crystal spiders, the retainer(or Queen if you're lucky), and 2 velium crawler. And enchanter is nice to have because the spawns are fast and usually more than 1 at a time. Our group was 40 pali, 40 cleric, 37 wiz, 35 pali, 35 chanter, and 31 pali.
The queen is on a 30 minutes spawn with the retainer as a PH. One other type of drachnid also is PH, can't remember the name right now. Retianer seems to be the common spawn and dropped crystalized sword every time for us. Thanks to a server hiccup, half the groud LD'd when the queen finally popped, so we didnt get to drop here. Everything else in the room fell quickly with out much damage to the tanks. Cleric nuked most of the night!
If you can get a good, tight group of hi 30, this is a killer zone to hunt. Great loot and good exp. had 5 out of 6 ding while here.

I've keeled her a good number of times. The Messenger of the Queen and the Sceptre are COMMON. *bleh* I looted a Blackened Cyrstalline Shroud off her last night (RARE). I have been told on good authority that she drops ALL robes (ccs, bcs, cr) also rare to uncommon. Safe hunting!

She's not hard at all for a 49 Mage. I cast my level 1 burst of flame spell to pull her, and dragged her back across the little wooden bridge, once there I just got my earth pet (49 lvl spell) on her and let him go to town. My biggest mistake was to nuke early *got a little jumpy* your lava bolt spell rocks this girlie up quick fast and in a hurry, but like most mobs, only cast at about 40% health hehe. she is very resistant to pet root so don't nuke at the beginning I can't emphasize this enough, she took me down to 50% health pdq and I don'tlike that crap happening. I came here for the retainer's crystalized swords but got a crystaline robe ta boot 8)

On prexxus the other day i traded a platinum armband for the Messanger of the Queen.
stats are. 20/40 +5 STR +5 WIS +5 Cold Two handed peircing. Paladin ONLY. :-) Sweeeeeeeet item.

Here is what I have learned after numerous days in this room. Either the queen or a PH pop every 20 min or so on the dot just about. It is totally random whether she spawns or a PH spawns. The whole zone is like this. Named and rare spawns can pop anytime, and it is random whether it will be a named or a PH. She, unlike the other named spawns in this zone, will only pop in this one location right at the bottom of the large web.

All you have to do is run to her room with invis up, once all the roamers are away turn off invis at the ent to her room. Once you've done this root her, then snare her; i had some trouble cause root seems to last only 1 tick on her. In any case, once you have her snared, put up invis and run out of the tunnel to the room where there are only 2 terros (you should have killed them earlier)...now comes the fun part, running up and down the stairs and cast starfire...she took about 5 starfires.

first of all: root if your 51 holds for 1 tick its not long enough to get ensnare off (even snare is tough to cast in that time, she hits hard and is sowed the distance from the entrance to her is about 5 steps max read 1 sec sowed. (I know, she about waylaid me on 3 occasions, I even studied the pathing for the other spiders) some of the webmasters will still aggro you .. not many but 1 maybe 2 that are 36-37 anyhow she doesn't snare well either 2-3 resists each time, this last time she also proc something wierd ... you have been blasted by freezing winds...
there was a webmaster and her.. it was too tough. had to zone. better part of valor dont you know.

my level 51 necro soloed...or should i say my best summon 49 pet did, u can pull her single at 51 to the bridge just make sure ya clear the 2 spiders that spawn there. She hits round 94, only spell i cast on her was darkness and root, she fell fast regardless.

I let the pet beat on her awhile then started chain casting char. She fell just after the third cast. hehe Druids need to stay outside.
Pfft killed her 4 times and all were the piercer. After 12 hours I gave up. I later learned the next time she spawned she had dropped the stupid robe.

Has about 4k hp.
Procs or casts a fire based AOE Rain spell that does around 250 total if you're in it for the whole duration. This is the only magic effect/spell she has. I'm pretty sure it's a proc, but it could be her casting it.
Hits for up to 90 max, but averaged about 40 to 70 on a level 40 warrior in standard gear for this level. Very magic resistant. Snare doesn't work and root only sticks for a few seconds. Kill her before any other spiders that are up so she doesn't run away and cause you a painful train.
Common drop is that stupid paladin piercer which is so devalued now it sells for about 500pp (on my server anyway). Drops the sceptre every time. Rare drop is Crystalline Robe which is a decent stat, very nice looking robe. I'm always losing the roll on this one.. want one for a twink though! Not willing to pay the going rate of 4.5kpp.
Have an enchanter for this room or be very sorry if the the whole room repops at the same time and you add a few wanderers. Cleric healing is a bonus.

She has about 3500 hp. She breaks root in seconds, don't even bother. She isn't snarable. She hits hard and fast. She is a Warrior so doesn't cast at all. She can't see invis. If you attack her and aren't 55+ you will pull the room. She has sow speed, so good luck running. For me as a 55 druid, she isn't
soloable, but two nukers can take her out. Classes with pets
should do fine also.

If you keep the room clear it's a piece of cake when she spawns. We took her last night with only one casualty, and that was because he was a 7th member and couldn't group with us so we did not see his health meter. She did not resist my DOTs, though she did resist everything else. We had a couple webmasters show up as she was close to death but most of were near full health (couldn't cast on her, so mana there was plenty of mana for healing) so we made it through easily. We being from level 30 to level 40.

Actually the sceptre drops every time,along with one of the 2 other loots(robe/Messenger)and some little stuff(jewelry,silks).Of the 5 queens i killed,all had the sceptre and the ppl that were here had camped her multiple times and they all had the sceptre eqch time.

Alright this is the downlow on the spawn,
The Queen Drachnia spawns at the end of a long hallway of Crystalweb spiders(blue to 36)... She is in a room of about 6 other spawns... Webmaster's(blue to 36), Velium crawlers(blue to36), plus a Drachnid (something) He's a big spider along with the Queen. It's a real hectic battle to break the spawn, we died the first time of all 40+ and me, aggro'd so we coudln't evac.
She dropped the robe the first time, the sceptre the next and then the robe again, she spawned about once every 30 minutes then not again for an hour then we left. I dind't con her, but she wasn't too hard at all

How odd. My guild was down there for over three hours last night and we never saw her. We did see some of her Drachnid Retainers though and got a couple Webshields, but no Queen.

I was there for 8 hours...we kept the queen room cleared and the tunnels nearby, no queen spawn

Although the drop of the robe is common, the Queen has a place holder and she doesnt like to come out all that much. In a full 24 hour day she only came out 5 times and dropped the robe twice.

Actually she drops either the robe or the Messenger of the queen(paladin 2hand piercing weapon 20/40 and some modifiers),the robe is the common loot and the Messenger is the rare one(should be the opposite IMHO)
