Actually, there are some quests you can do with the creatures around the gate point before you go onto the plane. These will raise your Tunare faction... and destroy your Giants faction.
And, regarding us being kos on our own plane, think about it. Innoruuk is the Prince of Hate, he HATES his followers, disciples, and worshippers. More than likely, we're going to be kos in Growth, because Tunare holds a little grudge with Innoruuk, as he kidnapped the High Elven king and queen, tore them apart physically, mentally, and spiritually over the course of hundreds of years, then reformed them as a mockery of Tunare's work...
Ahhhh Inny was the elf king but a faction of the elfs turned on him and became the High elfs...those that defended inny became the dark elfs after they lost the war and fled to antonica elfs elfs elfs elfs elfs
Tunare in the PoG and Bristlebane of PoM will be natually benevolent gods, unless you killed your faction with them in some way (bandits in GFey)... So in other words, your safe to go in the planes, and they won't attack you unless you get on thier hate lists.
Uhh yeah, that's why the faction the bandits in gfay give you is Fizzlethorpe, as in Bristlebane Fizzlethorpe. Note there is no brownie named Fizzlethorpe. There are two Bristlebanes, Bristlebane Zev, god of fortune, and Bristlebane Fizzlethorpe, god of mischief.
Brownie, heh. n00b.
Just another example of the short faction names (i.e. Coalition of Tradefolk Ill = Coalition of Tradefolk, Illegal = Freeport Rogue Guild)
I'd just like to mention that if you are planning to go to this plane merely to stare in awe and grovel in humility before your god, no planes raiding group is going to want to take you. There are only 6 slots in a party usable, and no one will want to waste that spot on someone who stands around gawking but refuses to fight.
No she will not, unlike the planes of hate and fear which are meant to be combat planes, Plane of Growth is much like the cities of Thurgardin (sp) and Kael Drakkal (sp). If you follow Tunare and have not lowered your faction with her she will NOT attack and most likely will con Warmly/Amiably.
Do not, I repeat DO NOT kill ANYTHING in the plane if you follow her, all the quest items for the followers of Tunare do not drop off mobs there so if you kill anything it is very likely you will be unable to complete or instigate the quests there.

It would be funny if Verant made her a High Elven Druid (anyone catch that?) and somehow programed her to kite or something... but, knowing Verant, they probably made the Goddess of Nature a cleric... hmph.
from what i hear she summons all other things in the zone to help her so basically you might have to have full spawn break(which means it will prolly have to be more inhabited with players than it is now) before you attempt to attack her.I cannot confirm this but i also read she casts a spell that makes casters unable to cast so better start thinkin of strategies to take her down with :)
she killed a guy in 3 sec and hit for 925 she called for everything in zone to come to her and they did after he died someone tried to drag his body and he died just as fast hehe lots of pets if she calls for em so good luck
