Took this guy down in a group of 3 with no healer. It sure was close since he had tons of life, and when he finally died, the reward was not a thing.

We ran into one of these yesterday, it had a ton of hps and conned even to our 52 cleric. I am a paladin with a Equisite Velium Battle Axe (32dmg/36dly) wearing a FBSS and also had SLW on me I did over 4500dmg to this mob! The fight lasted a little over 4 minutes, we primarily fear kited it. Our enchanter, which was the one that was fearing, got summoned 4 times total. This one hit for 162dmg max. We had 6 casters there (two groups, one with 4 the other 3) and most used %50 of their mana or more.

Have fought in Skyfire for many hours trying to get my spells, and have never seen one of these con even to me at 52. Made the mistake of pulling one of these one time. Was grouped with 2 other necros, and 2 of us died due to summoning. The other necro was able to make it to zone. Anyone know a trick to surviving a summoning if a caster? I ALWAYS get killed when summoned. I HATE being summoned.

Trick to surviving? Feign. :P Comeon, you're a necro. If they summon, it's not going to be very easy to run, eh?

1. Always keep manaskin up. I have been summoned many times and not been killed due to it.
2. Always have either SOW on or Jboots on. At our levels, you have to have increased running speed to survive. 10XSOW potions can be had for 100pp or less if you haggle and buy in bulk. I used to do this before I got my Jboots.
Never leave home without these two things. Otherwise, accept the consequences...

These can be higher the 49, ran into one yellow to me at 50, summoned me all over the place
