Enchanter can do this part solo (if it's up)

Uses pacify to get yourself into CoM roughly +240,-240.
Gravity flux yourself up onto the semi-invisible ramp. Get as fae west on that ramp as you can.
Cast levitate on yourself.
If Wraith of Jaxion is up, you will be able to target him from there. Target him.
Use levitate to avoid mobs and get to roughly +200,+200.
You will be able to land Tash on Wraith of Jaxion from there.
Go back to the corner with the semi-invisible ramp, and wait for him. It may take a minute or two, but he will find you.
Other CoM mobs do not assist the Wraith of Jaxion because he is an epic quest NPC :o)
So when he finds you, charm and trade. Then gate.

Mission accomplised.

Well, I succeeded just now (with the wonderful help of the Legends of Westwood guild on Xev). I tried a couple of times to use the Gflux and pull technique. I also tried targeting him and nuking from below. Neither worked and the folks I was with informed me that he will NOT come alone, regardless if he is an epic NPC, he will bring company.

I wish this technique worked for me, but it seemed like tagging along on a Reaver raid was the only way plausible.

I tried this technique several times. Took me a while to get the hang of landing after Gflux, but once on the ramp I was able to target Jaxion. I had a couple problems with this technique though:

No matter what I tried, I got a message that my target was out of range. I have Ext Rng III focus item too. I tried lev-ing as close as I could but still got that message. When leving to 200,200 as recommended I sank and couldn't get back on ramp - I had to Gflux myself again.

I landed on the ramp 4 times. 2 of those times I ended up with a huge train piling down on me. I have no idea why sometimes I got trained and other times I did not.

Seemed like I was so close too...

Enchanter Turn in WITHOUT the big raid
# Apr 11 2003 at 4:49 AM Rating: Decent
Tourterelle from FV server can confirm this. She is a lvl 62 druid. Targeted him from bottom floor, directly under him and snared him...then she followed the path of the upper ledge (always on bottom floor) till she got to the place where other poeple would G-Flux on top to by-pass having a rogue. You'll need anyther person to clear the floor, and of course the enchanter who has to do the turn in.

So finaly on the other side, Wrath came down to main floor. Enchanter charmed - did the turn in, then we called on every chanter we knew to get this part done.

Hope this helps.

Ok, just so you know...

The placeholder does roam outside the last platform.

The placeholder was "a wraith" so far as I can determine.

The placeholder was reportedly on an 18 minute timer (might have been 15, was very busy... level 47 druid as main healer for raid...)

Third pull was Jaxion (two PH's) and he was easily charmed by Enchanter spell Allure.

My husband (51 Enc) was third in line. First guy charmed, handed in... no agro. First guy invised, second guy charmed, handed in... no agro. Second guy invised, hubby charmed, handed in, no agro... so hubby invised, we beat Jaxion down like any other "a wraith" and moved on.

So, just join a big enough raid for reavers/neh for druid/ranger/shaman/mage epic and have dull ruby in inventory. All the Enc along for the ride can complete the charm easily.
Jaxion success finally

Caitnop, the raid you saw get wiped was prolly ours. At 1:30 am Monday morning, after camping the area and killing everything in sight since 3:30pm Sunday afternoon, Jaxion finally popped.

Our force had dwindled by that time to 6 ppl. Which I believe were two Chanters, one Beastlord, one Pally, one Mage, and one Druid (myself).

The Reaver popped and was pulled in from outside and we nail'd it, another popped as usual, we nailed that one... then Neh popped as usual... Neh never agro'd any of the other several times he had popped that nite.

We buffed up to get ready to take out Neh... suddenly, out puller calls out that Jaxion has finally popped outside... he pulls him in to room, Chanter from my guild charms him, and does the turn in, and gets what she needs, then b4 the other chanter can do his turn in, Neh agro's, and another mob pops, and pandimonium ensues....

Our chanter goes down so fast that I can't even get off a heal, other chanter madly trys to mez, charm anything, but to no avail... I try to heal chanter but can't keep up, he goes down... Mage goes down... at that point with the Pally and Beastlord and me down to two bubs, I Lessor Succor us, and we three survive, myself with less than half a bub.

Then begins the CR, we call in a Necro from our guild, who summons the bodys. One of our Clerics logs in to Rez. But we have no luck finding a Rogue. I track and can't see Jaxion anywhere, tho Neh is still up. Some from our party got back to the room where we were, but still no Jaxion, so perhaps he despawned.

You lucked out at anyrate Cait, tho weather you were truely lucky, or actually smarter that we, remains to be seen... hehe. I truely hope that the one to two person method is the correct one, because holding the area for hour after hour after hour killing everything in sight is dreadfull.

Solo hand in for enchanters
# Feb 03 2003 at 2:33 AM Rating: Decent
For any chanters out there that need to do the hand in to Wraith of Jaxion (spelling?), take the easy way if you know he's up.
You can gflux yourself to the invis. bridge right where it comes out of the building. Then, either get a pet and fight your way to the locked door (2nd building), or mez/memblur your way there. Careful to not agro the mobs in the first building when you walk PAST the door. At the locked door, get on the railing of the bridge, close to the building, but again don't agro the mobs inside. Gflux again to get on top of the building. You don't agro up here. Wait untill you're buffed, brave, and ready. Jump down, mez everything in the way, pull Jaxion (tash or something), charm, hand in, and gate or levi off to the zone.
Don't pull him with charm. He will agro the mobs in the building and most likely die before you can hand in.
I got to watch (from the safety of my perch on the locked building) as a raid wiped on the broken bridge from pulling him with charm. Waited till the dust settled, did my deed and floated away smiling.
Good luck.

Super Easy 'eh? Problem we found is Spawn time... with a force of 20, all lv 55+ and several 60+ we moved up to room where Neh'ashiir spawns, Neg 161, Neg 40, Pos 290, and set up camp there. Our puller pulled mobs from outside the room and from the tower nearby, we also dealt with any pops inside room. This was about 3:30pm today... it's now 10:30pm and Jaxion has not spawned... we've even had trackers look out for him... we've killed everything in sight, including Neh 3 or 4 times... and still no Jaxion... sigh. Only good thing so far is a Jade reaver was dropped, as well as a piece for the Mage epic.

OMG 4am and I had to gate out as I ended up soloing the camp, and the adds started mounting up. What a pain in the butt. Camped him for around 7 or 8 hours straight and no pop. /cry now I'll have to do it all again

How to get this done with only TWO PEOPLE!
# Dec 23 2002 at 3:41 AM Rating: Decent
this is super easy! ive seen it done twice just today (one was me).

you need teh following:

YOU (enchanter)
62+ Necro

he walks along this small bridge waaaaaaaaaaay up in the air, hehe, its high.

The hardest thing to do, is targeting him.

ANYHOW, get the necro to target him, then cast his highest fear.

the necro then runs to the mouth of the castle, and continues to fear him. he'll walk all the way down the path, to you! There, you charm him, and IMMEDIATLEY tell him to sit.

You then hand in your emerald, and Blammo! you have it completed.

You need a 62+ so you dont take aggro, its awesome.

Thanks to Hopesn for telling me about this (and all her help through my epic), and to Prance, that WONDERFUL necro with nothing but kindness!

If you ever see Uccello (me) on Prexus, Ill be there to help you, with anything

also, THANKS TO HOPESN AND PRANCE!
A trick not worth trying
# Nov 26 2002 at 7:26 AM Rating: Decent
Ok, so his spawn point is at 104, 157, 273.

I ran my rogue up there and targetted him with hide/sneak, then floated back down (yay soe!) to where my chanter was waiting, almost right below. chanter assisted, charmed, and tried to summon companion.

it said you don't have a pet. so I camped out, logged back in, and assisted. strangely, he was now at about 1/3 health. I foolishly tried charming again, and he died. :(
RE: A trick not worth trying
# Dec 05 2002 at 12:14 PM Rating: Good
Here's what likely went wrong: When you charmed him, he bacame aggro to all the other critters up there that would be KOS to its master (you). So they dogpiled on him and started beating the snot out of him, when you logged it broke Charm and he started healing from the beating. Summon Companion wouldn't bring him down in that instance b/c he would be engaged in combat- it only works if your pet is in "standby" waiting on orders or trying to come to you.

Count yourself lucky that you didn't get the massive train from hell when those MOBs up there took him out-- they woulda been gunning for YOU next.

As a side note, regardless of whether the pet was engaged in battle or sitting idle up there alone he was a charmed pet and unfortunately the coding doesn't allow for charmed and/or DC pets to be considered as regular pets and thus are unaffected by the summon companion spell. I've tried this in several instances with both regular charms and Dire charm. Being within enough range to witness the pet as to make sure they were not engaged in battle I've attempted summon companion and did indeed recieve the same message, You do not have a pet... blah blah. Is sad considering most DC pets can be across the zone from where you want to hunt and it can be quite a hassle to drag them along without dealing with tons of adds along the way.
This Guy!!!

I've been camping this guy all damn day and he hasn't spawned yet. I have killed 3 neh ashir's, and got the torch all 3 times.. But being a chanter that doesn't help me. I need this damn wraith to pop so i can leave this place... ARG! Did they decrease the spawn of him and increase neh ashir?

Did this guy while on Reaver raid. He is somewhere up in the very top near where the last reaver at the top spawns. Not sure exactly where cause our puller brought him back to the group. Charmed him no problem, did turn in. I think he aggroed on me after turn in, don't remember for sure tho. Anyway, raid killed em in like 5 secs afterwards so It didnt really matter.

Are there any secrets some of you have on doing this guy solo? I've heard you can fear him from down below, but not sure if he'd bring friends or not. Thanks!

Is this an epic that my enchantress must kill to gain an epic weapon of some sort or is there any reason why this is an enchanter based beast?

you charm him to and turn in a gem to get it enchanted for the enchanters epic quest, looking foward to doing myself soon, as i am starting my epic

BTW, he can be recharmed for multiple gem turn-ins if more than 1 enchanter is present and ready for him.

First off I really doubt this guy is lvl 51 but I can't tell because he's always blue con at my level. He has about the same amount of hitpoints as a greater plaguebone so either he's really weak for his level or he's lower than 51 most of the time.

Wraith of jaxion has like 5% resists on lvl 55+ spells so you can basically cast all day on this guy and never get resists. I only solo him at lvl 57 though, so I don't know how resisted lower level casters would be.

Spawns on the outside of the neh'ashiir reaver room as a roamer. Kill the spawns on the outside of the neh'ashiir reaver room and he should spawn in like 2-3 spawn cycles, pull with tash and charm him for your quest while on a neh'ashiir hunt. This is very easy to do if your guild or whatever is already going to kill neh'ashiir. Just ask to sit thru a couple spawns and you'll do this part of your quest and then kill the wraith for good exp; everyone's happy.

Enjoy enchanters =)

I agree he's not level 51. I'm 46 and he cons blue to me. Don't know about resist levels though. Being a ranger I don't have to get near him to find out con.

He was yellow at 43. But red at 42 making him 45. This means he can be charmed with cajoling whispers.
