There are two pirate spawns with a rather long respawn, probably around 4 hours. Usually the regular pirate, but sometimes a destroyer or cartographer.
Wanders around the SE part of the zone, occasionally over to the SW near the town. Certain NPCs can aggro and kill it.

Was looking for the non-spawning and now it seems non-existant sir hobble, an this green con human "a pirate" chic agro's me. She dropped the fs lore rapier. Took a negative faction hit on "Pirates of Gunthak". No clue yet as to what quest its for?
i was heading to Loio from SoNH when i saw Red Eye Jack on track. i never saw him before so i went over and he ran from behind me and hit me. i killed him and looted Fine Steel Rapier (nodrop, lore), and Jewel of Ganak. Anyone know what these are for? any info would be great

The pirate must have been level 27 - 3 levels more than you is tombstone and i believe that you were still blue to a level 33 character, at least light blue...

I was attacked by a woodelf pirate at the bank the other night. Killed her easily, but she too, dropped the FS rapier, no drop. Has anyone ever found out what quest this item relates to?

Just killed one a few Min ago. the Iksar dropped the NoDrop Rapier and it Indents as a Gunthak Pirate Rapier.. Looking into Gunthak, the only Item i found was the Gunthak Harpoon. POS weapon besides for backstab. Anyway, No clue what it's for or where to go to Gueat it. ???

I have spent alot of time going back and fort from FV to LOIO and to DL and never once saw one of these Pirates. When SoL came out I started a new char, and just now played my main today, when much to my suprise I see an Iksar pirate who never even gave me time to look twice but jumped me. Easy enough kill but mabe a little under cond. So he goes and drops a no drop Rapier, any Ideas as to what it is for? Also I have noiced Drolvargs' now infest FV. Hmmmmm.

Just ran into him last night on the way back to LOIO after FV. He was right after the bridge into town.
He conned blue to me at 36 and rushed me before I was able to raise my combat buffs.
Not much a problem, really, except that he had 2 of those rapiers and seemed to know how to dual wield as well.

Bumbling round trying to find Sir hobble for the Wurmslayer Quest, I started following round this pirate. It was a troll and the pilgrims didnt agro on it.

The other night i was heading for DL when i ran into this guy, im lvl 45 Cleric so i thought "i gonna mess this sucker up" but no can do.. he resisted 2-3 spells.. so i thought i gonna melee him, but after 2-3 mins melee he had the upper hand, i ran towards FV again, when i got to the guards at the bridge i waited.. but they did not aggro him..?!? I was 1.5 health and almost oom, so i ran to the bank and /yell ! thank god someone toke care of him there.. but why didnt the guards help me?

your a lvl 45 cleric and you havent figured out that sometimes, some mobs.. guards just dont give a damn
I killed a Pirate (Iksar btw, but seems to be all kinds of races like the bandits in Antonica) just outside the city. He conned blue at 35 and hit fairly hard. He dropped a FS rapier that is No Drop. What is up with that? Is there a quest associated with this weapon in FV or Cabilis?

who cares what lvl it is, what's the damned rapier for? i am lvl 46 and got jumped by it, it was green so i killed it easy, but it dropped this rapier, what the hell is it for? anyone know?

This guy is a *****, much higher than 21 ,yet w/ the help of my friends and i he took a dirt nap. The rapier is... uh...... stupid, no drop. Anyway who cares about pirate faction

The 2 pirates I ran into while hunting Drovlargs Conned Yellow & Even to me. I was level 28 at the time. Not sure why the FS weapons were NO DROP

I was a level 33 Ranger when I ran into "a pirate." I was heading to Firiona Vie to sell and bank, when I saw a High Elf (caster) running in circles yelling for help, and no one was helping her... I found this strange since a few high levels were just standing there watching. Anyways, I snared him and began laying the smack down. Unfortunately, it wasn't this easy for me. He conned blue, and hit in the 60's. I went into the fight with about 20% mana and 80% of roughly 900 HP (no buffs) and eventually killed him, ending with no mana at all and about 15% HP. Con blue Dwarven Rogue wielding two NoDrop/Lore Fine Steel Rapiers, and he fought alittle harder than a mountain giant hillock. I'm guessing level 28 or 29. I think the faction changes were +Firiona Vie, -Pirates of whatever. Hope that helps. Please post some info on what the rapiers are for...

I got attacked on my way to the Lake and this guy (Iksar Pirate) conned red to me at 28. Hitting my Dwarven Cleric for 55, before I cast Divine Aura and called for help, from the higher levels at the bank.
A shaman DD'ed him for about 70% HP and finished him off, then SoW'ed me for a run to the Lake.

i have a 25 ranger on vallon zek and this guy coned red and was hiting me for 60's BS for 150's and the guards wont kill him

The lvl placements on thgis are backwards. Heheheh. min. is 21 and max is 29 not what it says. if they fix it then ignore this.

The one that I fought just outside the outpost conned blue to me at 35, and hit fairly hard for whatever level it was, as well.
