The spells were being cast from trazdon's room "a visiting priestess cast a spell"some one was hunting that romm and i dident ask about it then she is not listed is it a new npc with Quest?

2. I've killed him, Rathyl, Najena, Drenzal (spelling) repeatedly for hours.
3. Some guildies and I killed him 6 straight times on our circuit through named spawns.

i saw him while meh pet was fighting way to me so i decided to take him solo (without pet)
cost me (lvl54necro) 2 nukes and 1 lifetap (and god knows our nukes SUCK) so stop telling **** about how difficult he is... btw, he spawned 20mins later at another location... so no 5-7day spawn for sure...
might be interesting for some mages looking for him ;-)

if you lv 22 and you not twinked i HIGHLY advise that you dont go far at all into the dungeons the creatures in there at first room are fine for exp stay there for a while remeber you get an exp bonus

me and a group of guildies just came outta the water and there he was didnt have his pet with him had TONS OF HP took a 45 monk 48 monk 30 druid 10 pally and 15 cleric 10 minutes to drop him he droped a mage only robe which had some nice stats but other than that he was ez and didnt hit for that much i think max was 40

But come one people, have a little patients. so some ignorant mele type (like myself) kills this NPC. Big Deal, this is "Ever"Quest, and unless you have 1 night to live and you just have to get your epic compleated befor you die, rather than get laid or something, there is always tomarrow. we have the right to camp this guy all week just to kill him, for what ever reason we may have weather it be neglegents or what have you. but an irrate Mage has no right to harras me about it. i agree that camping this fellow for the sake of pissing off Mages if ludecryst, and rude and i whould never do such a thing. Yet i have that right vested to me. if anyone asked nicely not to kill him or informed me not to destroy this guy cuz hes for an epic id surly not kill him. Id not do it if i knew his purpose (yet most NPC's do have one pertaining to some quest, class, or what have you). drop the tough guy act, cuz your probably were the kid who always took his net home when he lost at street hocky and sulked in his room (you all know who you are, and we all have had experiances with types like you). i grew up in a family where u put up or you shut up. if my twin brother took the last slice of wonder bread, i had to wait till mom went to the store and bought somemore. dont sweat the small stuff, because if you can't handle a little problem in a game like an adult, or even Grown up (for those who arnt adults yet), then life will eat you alive eventually. try living in Buffalo and geting a decent job. somone has already got there befor you (considering that there are no jobs here anyways.), what do you do? do you make him pay you not to beat him up?, report him to the athority (please.....(for those of you who are petition happy....you know who you are.))Or do you get your aplication, resume and suit and go look for another job? although the anaylogy isn't compleatly accurate, you catch my drift right? so please... to all you mages out there, i feel for you, it sux having to waste time waiting for an NPC who is low enough for a newb to kill to spawn. but "Life Happens" deal with it, and deal with it like an adult please. for crimeny snakes pplz, this is a G-A-M-E..... If your going to clear a zone becouse someone messed up and kilt your epic person, u really have no life. The simple fact alone that u would even consider this is just rude and inconsiderate. If they did it on purpose yeah thats another story, but u would be doing them a favor by clearing the whole zone. and according to everyone i have talked to, if you just wander around and do a shout pplz will be more then happy to help. so you can either do one of three things. (a) go to bed like your dad told u, (b) out grow the bully stage you should've before you graduated, or (c)do a shout and see what turns up.

haha you wanna talk about not posting any good info? look at you aurei, ya ******!!! your whole post made no sense but i assume you were whining about something ya big baby. any ways , i just wanted to say that this guy is always somewhere in najena, if some one kills him, big deal, he will spawn very shortly just like all the other mobs there, it is the task of finding him that is hard because he NEVER spawns in the same spot, i have seen him down by linda and moosh and the oddest spot was in the water to najena's room. so he is there ya just have to look for him!

it seems that they r everywhere, childish dweeps, who post nonsensical stuff, without any info, i agree with 2 out of all i read, if its there, kill it, if there is a mage there, he/she should say he is camping it. I also have a mage, i always shout my intentions, and reason i'm here is to get background research on zone i just zoned in with 1 of my alts, lvl 35 wiz, and am wandering about 4 fun after tping some1 to nek, and if u dweeps put the info on here, i could decide, whether it is worth going 4, as i camped to get this info; so basically, is it no drop, cause then i would leave alone, until i can come with my mage, if isnt then i might have go buty i will do a camp check.

The Magicians I have come in contact with are only looking for the mastery pages, which I am more than willing to notify them if they drop (from the mages in zone)
I finally decided to fight him, and if it was not for the Guard Officer that was hitting me, I could have easily taken him. For a low 30s, he does hit (me) in the mid 40s-60s....
In any case, I would not have received exp from him, so I will no longer waste my time with him.
Good luck to anyone who needs him, and I will help you if you are in the Torv server, and I am in there.

I have just a little bit to say to the mages that hold this attitude.... GO *****!!! This guy has been in Naj EVERY time I have gone in so he is NOT a rare spawn. OMG you might have to spend a little bit of time trying to find some crap guy in a VERY small dungeon where NOTHING can touch you. Time to grow some hair on de sack and realize that your epic isn't supposed to be handed to you on a silver platter like this. If you want him left alone then get into the zone and announce your intentions. Normally ppl wont kill a mob like this out of kindness and respect so long as you show the respect and decency to others first. Naj is a very small and quite uncrowded zone so ppl slipping in and out shouldn't happen without you knowing it.
Realize as well that only about 1% of EQ players know all of the npcs for every epic so you will run into ppl killing your epic mobs and npc's ALL the time and have no clue what they are for. Get used to it and quit crying. How many times have you seen the mid-level Shaman epic items on some newbie as a hand down? Quite a few for me.

I had just barely hit 35, and felt like cruising Antonica, and going to various dungeons and stuff just for fun.
For the record, I walked into Najena, and he was right there at the zone. Not sure if someone trained him there, but he stayed there for hours, so I'm guessing he spawned there. My two cents

He seems to spawn often, some times he'll spawn near the jail down stairs, or somtimes he'll spawn up next to the bonecraker guy sortof.. hard to explain, anyways hes not hard for me to kill lvl 50 necro, he has more than 1 k life, maybe 2k not sure, he has a lot of hp

I saw a 49 monk in najena just killing stuff and he asked about this dude i told him not to attack he was undercon and he goes i can take him and i watched him die in like 5 seckonds

Najena is a dungeon for mostly under 35s .. if I see this Akkstaff thing and he is above green or threatening I will kill him for the exp while poping gear in here!. Sorry you lvl 50+ mage twinks cant find him... me in my cloth / damask now as well.. gear feel way sorry for you.. NOT!. You want him that badly you camp it like yer supposed to till he pops. Something as powerful as your orb shouldn be easy to get and im not gonna go around sparing one mobs life just to make your quest easier..no one offers to leave the AC cyc in sro to just myself so its easier for my under 40 / 50 to get ..nope usually some high lvl mage 50+ or ench that has no use for the ring etc that ks's it... so unless you pay me not to he's toast everytime I see him.

For the ******* who wants to kill him im gonna laugh at you when u annoy one of us mages or one of our little friend mages workin on epic! I find out someone killed akkshaft while my friend is looking for him i will train the whole damn zone on you and gate out. BTW for the person at the top of the DONT KILL? post Killing the AC is NEVER KSING! The AC is a random pop has no spawn place there for he is a free for all and you cant camp him because you cant camp a zone
THe bad news is, according to Verant's play nice policy, you can't even camp a static spawn. While most people respect camps to be polite, the official policy is that a mob belongs to the first person to hit it, or get hit by it, whichever happens first. After that, if you attack the mob, you are KSing, unless they yell for help. Then its free to anyone. This is even if you have been camping it for several hours, shouting out periodically that he is camped, and someone slips in invised, and gets a spell off before you. Found that out the hard way camping Dylin Starsine for Testament of Vanear. Verant says: sorry, he hit it first, not KSing.
If I've got an AC snared, rooted and damaged then you come up and blow him out from under me, that is KS'ing. Maybe you can't steal the "camp" but you can certainly steal the mob. Now grow up.

If you have any hope of getting xp from this dungeon the last thing you want is a bored 50+ mage, frustrated after spending dozens of hours camping greenies, camping this zone because some nitwit decided to kill a quest NPC.
A little bit of info for you. My level 51 earth pet can solo every mob in this dungeon...at once. If I'm going to be down there because some idiot killed Akkstaff I'm going to play a little game to amuse myself while I'm there. It's called "kill everything that moves". There's a reason mages have a reputation for being good farmers. You know how long it takes my pet to kill a mob down there? Less time than it takes me to cast a nuke. The only mana I spend is on buffing my pet.
So, you can have a mage that is in there for 5 minutes to give Akkstaff the parts to the epic, or you can have an annoyed mage that keeps the entire place nice and squeaky clean. Your choice.
Also, FYI since you seem to live in ignorance, the mage epic is NOT easy. The mage is epic is probably the most difficult in the game. Mostly because people like you keep killing the NPCs we need for the quest. Can you say Quillmane? I knew you could.

Akksstaff is Part of the Magician epic. Turn the Torn Pages of Mastery: Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. He can Spawn anywhere a skeleton can spawn. Please dont kill him for al us por Mages out there =)
