i had already killed begurgle and he spawned after killing 2 PH (Woot!) now i am after Gimblox. thanks for all of the info it helped alot

Been here 13 hours so far today, after 7 hours two days ago.. No sign of Lord Gimblox yet.
Bergurgle was 15 hours, so this is becoming a tiresome trend.
Then again, it took my enchanter 80 (yes 80) hours to get his SMR.

Got the ring today on Vazaelle after 27 hours of camping. He is there, it is not just a sick joke on clerics. Hang in there !

I was beginning to think it was a sick joke myself. And I still think it is. I've spent about 13 hours in smaller camps, and right now I'm camping him until he spawns, I'm at about 7 hours now, so 20 total hours... This has to be a joke....

Went to camp this guy tonight. Had plenty of tradskill supplies to click on while waiting. On the way there ran into King, killed him then all mobs in the area. Not 18 minutes latter did Lord Gimblox spawn. I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw him pop. I got the two long camps done in one day in less than 4 hrs. I think im gonna go out and buy a lottery ticket.

LoL, you sir, are coming with me to Vegas. 20 or so hours in the water in LR, and about 5 hours killin gobbies in Sol A so far. And here i thought clerics had it made when i was out in front tankin on my main so many times. Oh well, good to learn how the other half lives i guess.

I have been camping him on and off for weeks. The other day I had a day off from work and decided I was going to sit there till he spawned. Well 13 hours later he finally popped.It was a long and boring camp but I now have the ring. I had put in over 30 total hours for this one. Good luck!

This is to say for all Clerics that you can have one of the longest camps in history or the shortest. I camped him 2 day in a row for 14hrs each and nothing. Went to help guild mate do part of his Epic and then a couple of guild raids. All said and done it was 3 day later that I made it back to Sol A for the camp. I made my way down to the loc for Loard Grimblox and killed a "Large Fire Goblin" then started to wast time and cleared the King of the Goblins for the 9th time. At the appointed time of spawn I was sitting in front of the loc and buy my eye's I spied "Loard Grimblox". Total time on this attemt was 20min. I guess you just have to be lucky. By the way I was able to spred the spawn time of the other Fire Goblin on the other side of room to make it not spawn at the same time as the Large Fire Goblin Shaman making the whole thing a bit easyer.
The Fire Goblin King droped his ring and scepter almost ever other time. I sent out an "ooc" and had only one player come for one ring. So I looted and gave them to players in Nek that wanted and could not get there because of there level.
Fair loot made about 800pp in all just selling the weapons to merchants. So I guess the time on the first two days was not a total loss.

I camped the gobby for 8 1/2 hours with a few short breaks inbetween. the ph is on a 19 minute spawn timer and is either a Large Fire Goblin or Fire Goblin Shaman. The lord spawns in the exact same place as the ph at -796,-367.
I killed the ph 24 times (large fire goblin:14 times, Fire Goblin Shaman: 10 times) before Lord Gimblox poped on the 25th and droped the ring.

I camped him for 3 cycles in the morning then had to go help RL sister (2 rez's). Then I went back and killed the PH and sat and waited. My DSL went out RIGHT when the next pop was due. I waited impatiently...it came back in about 5 mins, I logged on and was facing Lord Gimblox!

i was camping the king in the room next to where this lord guy spawns, and i saw a lvl 32 monk almost dying all the time , so me myself being a lvl 45 pally, asked her to join with me so she could get all the xp, because i was getting none, then we cleared the room, and next spawn he poped,
dropped the ring, and the monk said it was for the cleric epic, i didnt know, so i shouted out that the ring was there, (3 cleric in zone between lvl 30-35) told them it was for epic, none of them replied, so we watched it rott =(
well theres my story for the day

Well Im on 2nd comp and boored off my butt waiting for him. Started camp at 6am and it is now 10pm. Had 30 hrs straight on burgurgle Man I hope this isnt a trend or Ill be dead waitn on Rage.

have them turn in ring, then give note to spawn Ixi, once Ixi is dead the one who needed it as a MQ loots the Scepter. Theoretically anyways. havn't done it my self (i should though im up to 11 hours strait at lord G. camp >.< )

I just got done camping this guy. I started 7 days ago to what I thought was going to be a routine 7-10 hour camp. I logged at least 25-30 hours this week doing this camp. Well I logged in 25 minutes ago to start another lame camp session and he was up for me. It was a very good ending to a very lame part of the cleric epic quest.

I have yet to figure out why so many people complain about the long camps of Berg, and Gimblox, sure there long but once there over with there's no more waiting for any spawns to complete the quest. Everybody at one point in this game has to sit and wait for something for some extended period of time. Maybe Verant should make it so that in one day characters could make lvl 60, or be able to flood the game with epics in a matter of minutes. That would make the game so much fun (sarcasm). Stop complaining the game is terribly fun or none of you all would play the game.

When I woke up I logged on and went to SOl A. When I zoned in I shouted for a camp check, surprise surprise, lord was camped.
As I had never been to Sol A before, i asked the person camping if he woudl mind picking me up at zone and taking me to the room, then I would log and come back on that character in a day or 2. He agreed, so he came to meet me, and imagine my surprise when i a warrior appears, yep a warrior was camping lord Gimblox. When we got back to the room, guess who was waiting for us, Lord G himself. Warrior jumped on him. While he was fighting I healed him and asked him if he needed the ring.
"no, I have oen and they are lore" he said "what are they for"
"Epic quest, and as far as i know nothing else, mind if i loot it"i said
"go ahead" he replied
30 seconds later, or watever it is when you can loot someone elses kill, I have lord Gimblox's signet ting in my pouch.
Talk about lucky hey?

For those of you who got LUCKY you got this MOB under 10 hours, and haven't camped Bergurgle yet in Lake Rathe, I hope you get the same torture I did trying to get him. Took me 26 hours (as total time) to get Bergurgle, I have currently been camping Lord Gimblox for the ring, Have been in camp for about 6-8 hours now (as total). If you got so lucky on Gimblox, Your gonna have fun camping Bergurgle, GL with that.

Woot... I got the ring and I was only in there for 20 minutes. I didn't even know I needed it until after I looted it . I was there for the exp and loot and didn't even know he was there. We were killing mobs,and a group member asked us if anyone wanted the ring, and I said sure. So I looted iy. I didn't ven look at it first, I just looted it. And then I saw what i looted OMFG ~~ How lucky is that!!
Ok. there is a secret passageway through a wall, go donw until you get to the room on the left that has three dorrs in it. He spawns in the throne room straight ahead.

I have camped this for a total of 19 hours, and nothing yet. Keep clearing the entire area around the spawn point, IE. King room, hallway, ETC. Have seen multiple pairs of Bard Quest arms and boots drop, 8 or 9 King Rings, but no Gimblox.
He exists when he wants to lol Ok, I get asked to help kill Ixiblat Fer (cleric epic mob) in BW for the first time and was sooo excited to finally see this bad boy I stopped at the bank to get my epic pieces in case we were to try him twice (the next mob I need in epic.) To my dismay, Lord Gimblox's signet ring is nowhere to be found!!! I concluded I musta got drunk one night and accidentally destroyed the ring so I resign myself to go camp this SOB again once we were done with Ixi.
Ixi is dead twice and I recieve my scepter from him WOOT and I head off to SolA to camp Gimblox... again <sigh>. I sat there for 11 hours killing everything my mana would permit me to and nada; still no Lord.
Out of pity one of my guildees asks me if that part of epic can be multiquested 'cos his monk has the ring in the bank. I tell him I have no idea but possibly since Gimblox is only mob in epic that can be killed 'whenever' and is not a triggered spawn. So I look up this particular portion of the quest only to find out that in order to trigger Ixiblat Fer, one must give ornate seashell number 2 to Naxot Deepwater. Well, in order to recieve ornate seashell #2 from Natasha Whitewater you must give her Lord Gimblox's Signet Ring..... DOH!!! Turns out I already did that part and I did NOT accidentally destroy the ring while on a bender and I did NOT need to be sitting in SolA again the last 11 hours rofl.
Well then, over the course of the excitement of having the chance to assist with Ixiblat Fer, getting tell bombed for groups which... spams my screen while omw to a rez and going LD, I completely forgot just what I needed at that point in my epic due to my excitement/anxiety 8) Please bear in mind that I played a total of 17 plus hours straight and my mind was lost lol
And no, he sure as hell didn't spawn that night!

What an absolutely boring camp this was. I camped him 8 and a half hours before he popped. 3 nukes and he went down easily at 52.

im level 51 cleric and soloed the room one sunday for 5 hours and then he poped. i root(Immobleize) then Retribution 3 times and poof he died.
i split the room by separating the spawn time to the two PH mobs 9 min aprt and it is 19 min spawn time. then just moved across the room after each kill and every once in a while killed the roaming spawn.

Im part of a lower level guild. Level 35 and under. I myself am a 30 cleric. We decide were gonna raid Sol A for the heck of it. At our level the xp is great and the loot for the most part is an upgrade.
ANY WAY we make our way to the lord and low and behold hes up with 2 other mobs. we pull em all and live. =)
And he had the ring. easy as 1 2 3 (and a full bar of mana for heals) I have this part done at level 30.
Just my little experience thought id share that.

I'm just posting this for humor's sake, and to let all you fellow clerics know that there IS hope.
It was myself (53 Cleric), a 51 wizard, 48 ranger, 46 druid, and 36 Necro (the wiz and necro were on their honeymoon, and wanted to tag along).
WAY overkill, but they're my friends and wanted to tag along.
so, we creep into Sol A, slip past the window, into the pit, tiptoe past the guards, and take the secret passage from the dining room to the conservatory... err... wrong game.
Well, we make it into the throne room - 2 Solusek Goblins. We sneeze on them and they die.
While sitting to rest, a third goblin pops up.. Achoo -> Dead.
Our Ranger goes hunting for more, and BOOM! Lord Gimblox spawns! he takes a couple sneezes to bring down, but goes down very quick.
Total time in Solusek A: 4 minutes.
Now time to head back to Lake Rathetear and pray my luck will hold out for Lord Begurgle.... going on 20 hours camping there...

I camped him 6 hours and he poped, i was about to leave the camp just wanted to finish the king who just poped and i saw him.
I think i am really lucky.
We were monk 51 monk 59 42 warrior and 55 cleric to clear all near Lord spawn maybe it helped a little.

Let me clue the next CLR that reads this in, FIrst i have been camping Lord Gimblux for 2 DAYS yes RL DAYS 4 hrs each with clearing the rooms next door as well as KIng and all near by gobbies, so far 8 hrs if you include part of this morning before that makes near total of 10HRS so when you go to camp get rdy for A really long wait unlike these others that say 2 hrs they must HAVE A GREAT deal of luck!!!Have FUN I ALRDY HATE THIS QUEST!!
If you think 10 hours is bad, then whatever you do, never try the Aegis of life quest. It took me two weeks to get that 3hour spawn with placeholders. This guy sounds like cake. It'll be getting together people to take down the lvl 60+ mobs that sounds hard.

well the exact loc of this guys spawn is -796,-367 i know because i just killed him tonight trying to get my epic :) well it took me 4 hours but then the epic is worth it but i wish there was a way to trigger him.
