A lvl 59 chanter with dc can solo easily I have everytime we did a druid epic hit for fun. Hit him with a slow to begin as your casting send your DC proon with low delay weapons in it is close I nuke at the end but have never lost.
tried to kill the one in east karana with my 53 necro today
the ek one was yellow, resisted fear twice, i'm told 55+ mobs are fear immune, so i'm guessing he's 55, summons and hits for 205.. cut through my pet in a few seconds, but i managed to gate..
I've seen him in a cave in TM also. Also note, he doesn't seem to talk to you unless your a certain level. Think lvl 52 or 51 he will talk to you about the story of how the warrior epic weapons came to be or something after you hail him.
Funny. I found him way back whent hey first put him in. My ranger was only lvl 25 at the time. And he told me the story then, and still does now (ranger still only lvl 44).
There are two Felodious Sworddancers - on in EK near ramp to Highhold Pass and another one in grounds of Temple of Life. The second one seems to have taken the place of Astaed Weimor. Has anyone got any info on this?
He might once have been called Felonius, but since at least Jan 2001, his name is Felodius (with a "d") Sworddancer. Maybe it dawned on someone at Verant that it was silly to name him like the word felonious, meaning criminal.
Nope, he's still Felonius. Felodius is in North Qeynos, Felonius (this one) is in EK. They're different NPCs, although they both tell the story of the Gnome who cried Kobold (I'm not sure about the other one).

Yes, yes he DOES start the quest people - he is the one who tells you of the swords at all, and that they were given to the smallest ogre, which I believe points you in the right direction.
ancient post but... its not a matter of who gives the quests..he started it. before anyone finished obviously some warrior learned it from him, therefore he started it for them
