Words of MiseryOk here I dispell any rumors YOU GET A FACTION HIT for killing him. It's not as dramatic as the Lucan one in FP but it was enough to make the ogres cry in their beer. Dread guards, dark beginners, and of course indigos will hate you for killing Kirak.
As for Kirak himself, he is lvl 55 SK (bit of a HT to the puller) and doesn't hit for much (180 was the highest reported) but he has an insane regen rate and a bucket of HP to boot. 2 groups of 48-54 took him out in about 5 minutes with DOT's and plain old slashing. Bring the melees and bring the shammys.

omgz, i popped in on wiz spire in nek and a zombie and skelly ran after me i killed them both and while running from there i was lagged, turned around to see where i was saw a skelly runing after me i put attack on to kill him, and he was hitting me for 120 and 130, thats when i realized it was no normal skelly at all. He took me down to half of a half bar of blood, im lucky i outran him and zoned, one guard that ran to attack him might have held him off for about 2 secs, but kirak vil took em down. Hes not a guard looking thing at all, hes a skelly.

This guy ate 2 groups 55+ we did no less than 50k dmg and his hp didnt even budge. Take no less than 2 groups lvl 59 to 60 before trying him dots are good but his magic resists are insane. /sighs Why do paladins always get the shaft? Azaral paladin 52nd Rodcet nife

This guy is for the paladin Epic Quest. There is no way on verant's little planet that you can take this guy with one group. You would have to stack an insane amount of dots on him to cancel his regen and then chain cast CH on the tanks so they will stay alive. You lose no faction for killing him.

Knew he was named, knew he conned red, knew nothing else. Tried pulling him back to a small group, cleric 34 and pally 39. Somehow lost sight of him turning the corner on the bridge, went back to pick him back up. And of course, he wasn't lost at all. In fact, he was hitting me.

U'd be stupid to do this guy with only 1 grp, it is safest to do it with 12-15 people. He is lvl 55, which means he hits/fights like a lvl 57 or 58. I did this for a friend in MF on Terris Thule, and we had 15 poeple and it took 5 mins to kill

Oh gawd this is the guy for the Paladin Epic Firey Defender he has a crazy Regen rate. IF youre lucky you can get em. Great I have to kill this guy I cant wait. BTW He drops the Tainted Sheild *Wimper Wimper*

you guys are all crazy. lvl 55 mob can easily be taken with 1 group (and to the lvl 7 who is on crack .. go back to n00bland). If you dont think lvl 55 (pure melee) can be taken by 1 group, go to icewell... we take on lvl 52-56 mobs all the time witn 1 group (sometimes 2-3 at a time).. btw my icewell group is all 50-55.

You, my friend, have a smaller brain capacity than that of my cat (and this is not one of your brainier cats, either.) Have you ever heard of the terms 'undercon' or 'overcon?' Yes, good! Some level 55s are harder than others... For example, there are level 55 monsters called "Black Ravagers" in swamp of no hope... they hit for 250-270, summon, and are generally just really damn annoying. Nagafen and Vox are both 55, and they're quite a bit more difficult than your traditional level 55 mobs. And then you have mobs that are level 55, hit for 120-130 max, and aren't really tough at all. So saying 'd00d j00 n00bie if j00 cant take him d00d w/ 1 group' is not an accurate statement. LEVEL is not a very good way of determining the difficulty of a mob. It can give you a general idea, but it is not accurate. Please don't insult people unless you're prepared to have the logical fallacies in your argument pointed out, shoved up your ***, and then be paraded around like a pet goat :).
On a side note: Paladin epic is bad, but the Mage epic absolutely blows. Worse than ANY other epic, IMHO. Necro epic is pretty bad too, but the Mage one really defines the class and is a serious component to every mage, whilst the Necro epic is a nice thing to have, but not neccesary.

With a well-planned attack and a good group (by this I mean people who can play well as a group and a commander who can direct a fight) This guy is beatable by a single group of mid 50s. Just don't make mistakes.
Don't FD pull him (unless you want to waste all your mana and LOH healing the monk when he cant lose agro) Be buffed and medded and ready to fight. Main tank in front, all others behind taking advantage of the ac bonus. And use the most cost-effective heal/dd spells possible (Dmg/mana and hp/min)

That is gonna suck for my friend who is a paladin, he is gonna have to kill this dude for his epic item. Don't wanna have to help him if 2 groups didn't dent this guy. GL to all u paladins out there trying to whoop up on this guy.

This guy has an ungodly regen rate fyi. We tried with 2 groups and couldn't make a dent in him.

Just as with Lucan, be sure to bring people who will A) zone before he dies or B) not care if they are disliked in dark cities.
As a side note it is important not to have your entire melee and dd group leave you standing alone when he is 20% health .. you will probably not survive.

My guild went after Kirak Vil today, and he was red to a level 52. I would think this indicates he is probably at least level 55.

I agree...Kirak Vil was red to my 51st, making him at least 54th. If he was red to your 52nd, then he has to be at least 55th.
BTW, if you are a light race who likes to run through Nektulos on your way to Sol B, beware of this guy. I saw him double punch a darkeed snake for 170. This guy could make a CR a complete and total nightmare.
