Wanted some real info on this guy's timer. Did cleric turn in 520pm PST, checked the next day after work, was up again by 515pm the next day. His spawn timer is no greater than 24 hours, possibly less. If you miss him, someone else probably came + despawned him with their turn in.
I finally got this guy to pop after 2 days and 8 hours of sitting there waiting.

Got a lucky spawn within 10 min of arriving at 1:50pm eastern on Stromm.

I got very lucky. Got my piece from Overking one night (two full groups, 75% 60+, and we wiped because of confusion from pulling. However, I put up DB as I got attacked and looted the king as soon as he dropped. Died right afterward.
Anyway, I tried at first to go in by myself and check to see if Zordak was up in Sol B. DIdn't get far without getting attacked, so I went out and came back with some guildies. Still too few people (65 cleric, 59 beastlord, 60 enchanter). Came back later with a full group (68 BL, 59 BL, 65 cleric, 51 BL, 52 druid, and 52 warrior). The 68 BL made all the difference, and we made it to the giants easily. After they left, I jumped on the ledge to camp Zordak. No one else was in zone, and it was late, so I camped out and went to sleep about 10 p.m. EST. Woke up around 2 a.m. to check on his spawn, no dice. There was an /anon person in zone, but I checked EQPlayers, and found he was a 70 paladin. So I went back to sleep. Logged in before work, about 6 a.m., still no spawn. Camped out, went to work. Logged in after I got home, around 4:15 p.m, and saw him right in front of me, and no one else in zone. So I dabbed an HoT spell on myself and hailed him. Some FG wizards casted spells on me, but no one showed up. I had a box in my hand no room in inventory, so i was getting a little frantic, and had a friend call me back right at that second! But I just hit gate and was safely in PoK with my epic piece.
So for me, it was very easy, because no other cleric was camping him at the time and I could just camp in and out. I was worried though earlier, because the night I started camping, another cleric was just about to be at this part!
So as a cleric, a good idea would be to cast an HoT on yourself before you start turn-in.

Camped Zardok on Drinal, one day after another - doing two cleric epics = twice the fun :-)

Ok... does this guy even exist anymore? Lol. I have been here for like 30 hours, and unless someone did the turn in while I was gone (doubt it because all of the FGs were still alive), then I think he exploded. Why are ALL of the respawns for cleric 1.0 so damned long. Damn you, SOE, DAMN YOU!!!!

Lucky :\ lol. I think it is because another cleric did this yesterday. I went to BW to kill Ixiblat and then Chardok to kill Overking and there was another cleric waiting to kill them... So I assume she MQ'd scroll or something because she had her epic about a half hour later. So perhaps I must wait then until like... 6 pm.

Ok...been here for like 2 days... of course I had to sleep at night lol but I've tried early morning (6am-9am est), bf tried at lunch (1pm est) and I tried til almost 2 am last night (from about 10pm) .... still nothing....

I am here to pretty much confirm this is a random pop, that can evidently go for a long time, but you can get lucky. I am a 58 Cleric that came in and tried to fight up to the Giant Castle and just could not quite make it. I teamed with a 51 Necro that happened by and although we did have a couple of moments with the spiders, we made it. A 68 Cleric had been in about 30 min earlier, and when we got to the castle the Giants were all gone, dead i guess and no repops. I reconned to the basement door. Zordak was not up as I came in to recon. I resigned myself to a ledge camp (over the lava), and checkback in a couple of days. Just as I was camping, Zordak poped back up. Giants still gone, I ran over and turned in. It would seem the repop was no more than 30-45 min on this one. I am guessing, but it was not an hour. I vote for random pop, up to the 24hrs mentioned above.

NPC Ragefire despawned at 5:00A.M. cst today - less than a 24 hour spawn cause my cleric friend got his yesterday at 5:15A.M.- both times he was up when we logged on. Hope this helps

I did my turn in at 109am on The nameless server (EST time).He Despawned.
NM he spawned today Feb 27th 2006 on zek at approx 945am CST
Anyone know what time he last spawned on Zek?
Just to summarize the previous posts...
His location: Head for the fire giant area. Fight/sneak/whatever past the first gatehouse. Its usually manned by 3 fire giants. Then continue thru the tunnel beyond it till you get to a wide ledge that is bordered by a lava river. Follow the ledge a little ways until you see the second gatehouse, but no need to enter it. Zordak spawns on the right side of the gatehouse, on the far ledge that is opposite side of the lava river from you. If he is spawned, you will easily see him from where you are. Or else cross the lava river and camp on the far ledge. Chances are, there will be a toon cleric there already, waiting.
I had no trouble with agro from the fire giants. I had my 70 mage fight to there and then CoH my cleric box to the ledge. Just as a precaution, when doing the turn-in, first make sure there is no fire giant on the ledge you came in on. Then have your cleric walk as close to the lava as possible and hail/turn-in from as far from Zordak as you can. There are two fire giants in the gatehouse behind him, and its possible that a previous group/raid might have moved the King giant from his normal position and made him close enough to agro you.
I don't know what the spawntime is for him...I did not want to camp there for a week to find out. He was not there when I first got to the camp, and I waited 20 hours for him to pop. After my turn-in, he despawned.

The spawn time for me was 23 hours. Trust me on this one, me and my boyfriend took turns watching this thing that whole time and sleeping. It was a 23 hour spawn time and he popped for us at 5:50 PM EST. Popped for the people before us at 6:50 PM EST. Hope this helps the next Cleric out. Good Luck!

Did this Sat night/Sunday Morning...Spawn timer 18 hours from what it appears. Didnt get exact time, but i was camping him for at least 14 hours, spawned for me on Xegony at 11:20AM PST. Hope this helps.

We have done this a few times on saryrn server one hails him and 2 clerics turn in same time and dont have to be in same grp both got turn in and ready for SF. Must click turn in around same time to do this before depop hope its works for others as well:)

I went to Nagafen's Lair today at about 3:30PM CST and he was spawned. There was a patch putting the server down this morning, so I think the previous post about patches resetting the spawn are probably true.
I went in solo and just ran past the giants and dropped into the lava, swam across to him, and they didn't go thru the lava to get me. So, there's my 2 cents on getting to him.

Just to help out other clerics on saryrn want to let you know it popped today at 2:38pm CST - 44 hours after last spawn at 6:30ish on 8/23/05.
Sooo.. next pop on Saryrn will be 8/27/05 at around 10:30am CST. Good luck guys and gals =)
