For all those that do not know
Haste calculation in EQ doesn't cut strait delay off of your weapon, if so, then 20% haste on a 50 delay weapon would be much more effective than on an 18 delay weapon, so much more that it would almost be a waste to use something fast.
The way haste is calculated on eq is by hits per second.
I'm not very good at writing up formula's or exact examples, so I'll just give a for instance.
Say a weapon with 10 delay is being used by a lvl 50 rogue, with this weapon she hits 5 times every 2 seconds. Add 20% haste to her, and she now hits 6 times every 2 seconds (where as 5+1=6 and 1=20% of the original 5).
Making it much more valuable on such a fast weapon than simply cutting off 2 delay, in theory, it all comes out the same, but in actuality, it doesn't.
