i have been farming him for the pet focus ear on my necro and have noticed that his ph's don't spawn in the same place each time so if farming him just look around that section of the map hope this helps

Golden Sage Earring is an expansion-wide random drop. Taking it off the list since it can drop from any mob in the expansion (not a standard loot item).

and to the left of the giant lord in front of the 2 giants
and up the hill from the yeti group near the giants sorry no location
never killed a stonegazer to get him to spawn just the massive
had item collector running but not sure it is working with the advance loot system
