Is this mob unaffected by pet attacks? Had two 109 mages throwing serious pet power at him and never got him below 99% HP. Gated after about a minute.

Most likely its the leech spell Draining Web healing him.
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 30000 per tick
2: Return 500% of damage as Hitpoints
3: Decrease Movement by 65%
Its a directional AE so if you can turn him over to a tank and have your pets attack from behind, that should help.

Cast Drachnid Entangle as well.

OK what are the tactics to take this Arachnid , down, seems to be able to heal him/her self, can barely get it down to 80$, then somehow heals self, even the guards could not take him down :)

Ya it is a tough one, I know I couldn't kill it in beta. It casts this,

So it's tapping health so I guess you need massive caster DPS, one tank and the rest of the group beyond 50 range to avoid those taps.
