Can a 63 Ranger solo this mob?

Ok, This guy is on the Forager cycle. The hunter has nothing to do with him. The forager has many named mobs that spawn, the hangman etc.. The best place to sit is in the tunnel to Swamp of no hope. The respawn of the forager or a named is instant after a forager is killed. Just keep killing foragers and ALL named mobs and the Iksar will eventually spawn. The problem is that the Iksar that pops is the rare named pop. He is a Shadow Knight and a 50-55 duo or trio can take him easy..I had to camp the foragers for like 6 hours to get the Iksar to pop, and he ALWAYS drops the BP...Hope this helps...Emli-57 Necro on E-marr.

im tired of people wasting space in these posts, can lvl 45 erudite pally and a lvl 51 gnome monk take this guy. its an adventure game go out and try to kill him then youll know. most of these questions people post i dont even see answered. the best way to find out is go try and kill it maybe someone will say no you cant kill him hes too powerful but you try anyway and viola you got him. anyway just my little rant cuz im tryin to sift through these posts for valuable info and keep runnin across the same questions

You've never seen a gnome monk? Wow ... come to TZ and I'll show you. I have a gnome caster who's h2h skill is getting close to maxing lol ... only 110, but that's higher than most. you get bored when you're only job in a group is to tap the mob for stats / buffs.
Chill...those people pay to gain access to these boards just like you do. They've a right to post their questions whether you like them or not.

This BP is 50 hp a min regen if anyone wanted to know so if u in down time sure it helps but in a fight no helps none.

I am not sure what made you say , this is a game, makin money ruins it but i am a 51 Bard and at the moment that is all i am doing. Maybe i am the only one who needs to purchase items from time to time, thus...I NEED MONEY

Well, I for one have a ton of fun buying and selling items. My friends say I should be doing the stock market instead, but I doubt it is as easy. Plus, you get to twink characters and have a lot of fun at low levels, while still leveling fast. And I still play all my characters.

so expect a 551 HT at some point (well thats what I got hit by). He only then really tried to land one spell, which failed. Im a 56 bard btw.
I've heard nothing suggesting he is but I hate caster mobs and wanted to just make double sure.

I was trying to find the forager. The hunter was up until someone killed him and the Crusader popped. I waited, not knowing about a cycle, and still no forager. When I have FM, I get brave so I headed out... took out the pet and killed the crusader. Iksar bp drops! Wheee!
Yes, without a tracker, you'll miss everything in this zone.

It's a nice item, and it's even a nicer item if you look at the PoS mob that drops it. The whole forager cycle including this named can be soloed easily by a Druid. Of course you would have med breaks, so if you want it to be more efficient bring a friend. But there's nothing like getting a 6k item off a lev 45 mob.
More than a few of the posts on this mob are " can a <insert level here> <insert class here> solo him?". Who cares? The main thing is that without a port to EJ ( and a short run to TT zone ) and a GOOD tracker ( which may not be the druid who just got you there ), you will never see this guy. On Luclin server anyway, this zone is only used to get OS keys or the people there are on their way to OS. If you dont bring a tracker with you you will not get this item.
On an off topic note I saved for a long time to finally get one of these and talked the guy down to 5600pp. I had my prized BP a grand total of 2 hours before I met up with another player who just happened to have a JBB and was willing to trade for it ( and several other nice goodies). Considering I could farm SGSE's alone I would rather do that and buy another BP than drag along a friend to camp something hours ( days ) on end who deserves it as much as I would.
Bottom line is unless you bring your own group that has a tracker in it and can make XP here or have tracking ability and the means to solo a level 45 or so mob, dont come here expecting to get the Iksar BP.

I was camping in Trak last night with my friend a 60 ranger on Bertoxx - we kill on the forager cyce and named pop - easy kills in Trak - the named are poons - easy gear to attain if you are a tracker of substantial level...

Are we posiyively certain that this guys is on forager hunter cycle? there are a bunch of other crusader looking mobs in SW corner of zone, id be looking into those as well, they are undead as is named.

You need a tracker to do this, u track down a forager and hunter, kill the forager, kill the hunter alot of times and after awhile a special will spawn kill him and he can drop the iksar bp or other items depending on the special mob. This goes for 10k on Vallon Zek, i think my server is over priced(

The other day we were killing the frogs to get him to spawn, eventually he popped and he was way red to me (Lvl 47), he was even red to the 52 paladin. That makes him at least level 55. He was double hitting for around 140 and was bashing for about the same.
Was blue to my 51 druid yesterday. Went down easy.

conned blue to our 48 cleric (was lowest lvl). I main tanked and he hit for no where near 140, I doubt he was updated. Just some newb trying to inflate the price.
