go down to Docks inside on right is an Erudite name begins with J-something only 1 you can casts Benevolence on do that under illusion Erudite that will take care of the faction and u can finish the quest in 5 minutes.anything is better then campin a lvl 8 for 3 hours just for a silly trade in

You can also spend about 150p as well and give Palatos Kynarn in East free port Captain drinks till your faction is maxxed out as well. It might be faster depending on how fast you can click.

Was doing the Tashania spell quest. Benevolence no longer works on this NPC. You get the generic message "Your spell did not take hold".
It is confirmed however that killing Elial Brook by the docks will increase your faction with her. With Illusion: Erudite, I started off dubious. Killed Elial Brook a bunch of times (about an hour and a half) and am now "amiable" with the illusion Erudite. Being a Drakkin, my only deity option was Veeshan.
The Faction hits on Elial Brook are:
Your faction standing with Heretics got worse.
Your faction standing with Deepwater Knights got better.
Your faction standing with Gate Callers got better.
Your faction standing with Craftkeepers got better.
Your faction standing with Crimson Hands got better.
So she has to be on one of those that improve.

Well lets see my hubby did this with his DK elf enchanter and even cast illusion erudite and benevelence bringing his faction up to amicable and she still kept the coin, any ideas ???

Illusion:Erudite and Benevolence take you up to apprehensive or indifferent if you follow Inny, for all of us brave enchanters who refused to go agnostic. THATS why we're worrying about faction.

Those few brave enchanter gnomes who follow Bertox will also have faction problems :(
I am an Innokurok Chanter (race doesn't really matter with chanters anymore, does it ~_^) and had a ball of a time figuring out her faction. I decided I'd try the warrens, but that didn't budge my faction at all. Then I started killing the necro at the dock in tox (his pet too, one gravity flux will kill them both) and after maybe a half an hour of camping him I went from dubvious to amiable! This was awhile ago so they may have reduced the faction you get for killing him, but thats my little 2cp for getting faction.
Edit: yes, yes, Innoruuk. =P took me 50 lvls to learn how to spell my Diety's name.

I believe her to be on the Craft Keepers faction; after doing numerous wood chip returns to Emil Parsin in toxx, I still conned apprehensive even when i conned amiable to other merchants. After killing Elial Brook (the necro at the dock) in toxx, my faction began to rise. After 11 kills of the necro, I con indifferent to her. Also stated recently, when you turn the necro bones into the mage guildmaster, you do not get any Craft Keeper increases. After turning in this set of 11 bones, i still had the same con. Hope this helps.

Guys, do a little reading, and maybe some research and you won't have to ask what faction. At the top of this page, it says she's a merchant. Therefore she's on the merchant faction. Researching that, you find only one quest to raise Erud merchant faction. Try being a little more observant and self-reliant and a little less helpless.

She is also a Quest NPC for the Incandescant Wand. (An Enchanter item) If you don't have good enough faction with her, she will tell you that you are not welcomed by the Craft Keepers. She must also be on their faction.

I'm going to try doing the Erud Tonic 8 billion times and see if that works. I have her to indiff with spells and whatnot. If not that, Erudin Merchants.
UPDATE:Thats a big negativo. I Have NO idea what faction this lady is, but I can only get her to Indiff! I need Tashania, i think im gonna cry......
