Serenaded Sally blurts out, 'Yes, yes, I can hear you. My joints may have gone out years ago, but my ears still work perfectly well. I wish to the gods they didn't. That talentless hack down below makes me long for deafness, if only to drown out that horrible racket he's making.' She sighs and continues, 'Is a little romance too much to ask for? A deft touch?
