I am not sure when it got changed, but the respawn time is 21 mins and some change.

map coordinates are helpful knowing that a 65 druid with gimp gear can solo it isnt helpful
I don't know if it's changed or what but I killed him twice today and his name is Arch Duke Latol, not Iatol. Dropped whip both times.

You will have trouble soloing it since it's behind a door you need a rogue to open.
Yes, a 65 bst with decent bazaar sellable gear can solo this mob without problems.

If you want to go through the door anyway, pull the Sebilite Guardian from atop the pyramid as close to the door as possible and push then Guardian through door. You'll be summoned through the door and then the path is clear to "The Crypt" where Arch Duke and other named spawn. There are no summoning mobs near the backside of the locked door so an Eye of Zomm targeted pet pull is not an option. (This works well if trying to get into the Trak area without a rogue.)

This sounds like a brilliant course of action, assuming that it is has been practiced and is not a theory. I've been trying to get to this side of the zone to solo for some gear for my Shaman alt. I tried to shadowstep past the door but had no luck after about ten minutes of trying. Thanks for the helpful tip!

you cant. mobs see invis and you need a rogue to pick the locked door.
a mage with his eye of tallon can open the door too. all he has to do is go up to door as far as he can go and summon eye .. eye should end up on far side of door.. turn around and click on door.. should open right up

got a rogue to come to the crypt ent with me and pick the lock.. he dropped me off and i gave him a gate potion and he was outa there.
cleared to the crypt was only lke 10mobs
once in the crypt its really easy.. the ph's summon but if you got decent hp's and ac you should be fine.
only one mob in each of the ph's room
kill the ph and X your fingers for the named to pop.. named hit just a bit harder then the ph's but not to bad like 170max but usually like 30 or 40 which is funny cause my ds does 58 lol.
Weird thing is the ph's dont run so... no need to snare them but the named mobs run.. so if your not clearing the imperial gaurds they will ch the mob if it runs outa the room. so you have been warned.. snare the names... snare the named..
anyway soloed by 65 druid mediocre gear.. i got a couple upgrades from the magelo below but nothing to huge.

oh yea i would estimate a max of 12k hp's on the nameds 8k on the ph's... lol kinda sick having a druid tank a mob that triples for 170 unslowed and still managing to sqeeze eneugh nukes off to kill him while keeping myself healed... oh yea another tip... i use hand of ro, immoliation of ro, eci's frosty breath, and ro's illumination, they all have a small attack debuff which seems to help.

Spent some time in Crypt last night. Saw Arch Duke spawn once in Baron Yosig tiwce, the rest never spawned. Arch Duke wasn't an easy fight. I did manage to solo him (62 shaman) but it was rough in the beginning. He started off with a HT of 881? then decided to lifetap me 3 or 4 times for around 300 a pop, melee dmg wasn't too bad (150ish). Without any cleric buffs or kei and 40% mana, was a long fight. Guessing he has around 10k hp, and he dropped the JBB :) Just glad it's not lore...already have one lol. Best non spel drop in crypt for value anyways. Sell for 30-35k on vazaelle.

I have done crypt all week only me and a rog, emp and all. But if u come here for your chance at getting jbb, don't recomend have not seen it in over 50hours of being down there, + the many, many times that i have been down here before

For all you talking about level, I agree 51+ for crypt. However, some say 53 min LOL. I am a Rogue, and have been doing crypt since 51. Have never died in crypt either.

i just picked up this nice item the other day. The effect is ensnare but it does override a 51 druids snare spell. I was also able to land snare on a pc of equal ranger with 70 mr so this item is in fact very nice.

I go there at 47 and do just fine so dont say you cant get a group there pre 50 all you have to do is /roleplay and lie about your lvl. I do just fine as a primary snarer and am yet to die or not contribute to my group. Just the other day I was in a group with the main tank being my guild leaders alt a 46 warrior, me 47 ranger, and 47 enchanter (also in guild). We camped some of the spawns and did just fine so yes you can get a group pre 50 but if people find out your below 50 they freak and leave cause they have sort of problem with it, I dont know they are just strange is all I know. Anyway flame all you want I like reading everyones opinions.

Not a flame but /con gives you away roleplay or not. I always /con my group when I first get in it just to get an idea who I will need to depend on if the stuff hits the fan.
I personally dont advise anyone Pre 50 comming here unless you are a Shaman, Enchanter, or Cleric for obvious reasons. I have sat at the zone waiting and LFG and watched many level 55-60 Melees have to wait much longer than I (at 53) for a group. Hey if ya can get in a group pre 50 more power to you. Just remember you can not get away with /Role Playing as a Higher level. Con will give you away every time :)

Actually as long as you say you are just 1 lvl below the lowest in group and not say 4 levels they will never know. You most likely wouldn't be with someone in the high 60's here that would know when a 50 is Blue and a 49 is Light Blue (or whatever lvl you are). Not that I aggree with someone lying about thier lvl, cause yes a lvl 44 could live here in a group, but a lvl 50 is more likely to contribute more to the group <aka if I had the choice between a 44 RNG and a 50 RNG I would take the 50, regarless of gear... well if the 50 has rusty weapons and banded then....)

I'm not sure if player cons work the same as mob cons...but don't lv 47 mobs still can blue to lv 55 players and such? I play on PVP so I'm not sure how player cons work on Carebear servers so I may be wrong. If not, the /con thing then still might not give you away...

Besidees conning wont work if he tells them he is only like 50 or 51 as most people will be higher than that anyway, or lying themsleves so they won't be able to give him away cause they are just as guilty.

I suppose it could have been the time or the server but the post say this is a really popular place.
