He (in CoM) had a nice present for us today on Ragefire (Kunark):

Congrats to the Ranger.
Drops Master Wu's Trance Stick

I was slaughtering mobs in CoM last night, and a Master Wu's Trance Stick dropped off of a wraith (City of Mist). The wraith was up the little water area between the pyramid and the stables.

This guy spawned while i was doing the temple yesterday with my 52 mage. He was in the middle spawn inside where the pretty lights twinkle around. I pulled him out and didnt have too much trouble using combos of blasts and pet heals. Got nothing except xp, although that's what i was there for anyways :P
45'ish group could do these

I'm a 48 monk with 191 str and 2 Canes of Harmony plus Silver Chitin Hand Wraps. My wife is a 48 cleric with 200 Wisdom and about 30 mana in mana+ items. We were splitting the temple and I managed to get this Wraith solo after some effort. She was a full mana and I had Mend up. I hit for 57 damage max and attack every 2 seconds with kicks that max for 108 every 8 seconds or so. My wife was stunning the Wraith with all 3 stuns and it was working fine until the thing agro'd her and she had to go invuln. The problem is it was hitting max for 121 damage and so naturally it was eating through my monk like tissue paper. The celestials were keeping me at constant health when the stuns were working well. Eventually I had to have her use her 2nd invuln and then I feigned while she ran to zone.

All said and done the Wraith was at 20% to 25% health. So if a monk and cleric at 48 can nearly take one out then a full group of 45's should have no problems provided they have a warrior and a cleric.... no groups of 3 druids and 3 rangers please :)
#Anonymous, Posted: Aug 19 2001 at 2:58 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Bumped into a Wraith in South Karana. Was blue to me at 22nd lvl, but he fought like a green. Easy kill and no loot. Bah!

One was pulled into our well balanced group of low-mid 40s. Conned red to me so it must have been at least 44. Killed our enchanter in about 10 seconds and started to put the hurt on the rest of our group. We had to run like babies to the zone.

Stayed in CoM for several days and only saw one. Me a 48 cleric, a 49 Warrior, and a 36 Pally beat on it for a long time. Finally killed it and it dropped nothing. It has a TON of hp and hit VERY hard. Wasn't worth the effort for a rare spawn.

These things are about lvl 43 to 47 and can melee accordingly. Think lava duct crawler when attempting to kill one of these because they are just as hard. They don't have blood boil, but if you don't slow them and try to melee them you are in for a world of hurt, even at lvl 50 or so.

These typically lifetap about 50 hps on a proc so you need to stat debuff them if you are going to melee or they will stay alive way longer than you had hoped.

Only take these on in a large group or if you are lvl 53+ and capable of dishing about 10k in damage before this thing melees you to death.

It's a program you can download and put on your web page that put's a picture of them and has a line that says "proud adopter of an obscure charector".
