They have 13300-13600 hp, hit me for around 150(with all but 2 defensive AAs), usually drop 3-8pp a kill and occasionally drop spells. Had no resists..but then again I'm no caster, my weapon procs are cold, poison and magic resist based by the way. And like everything else, they sometimes drop some nice gems.
they just patched it so that now you get a message if you fd ( necro,sk, or monk) that after 2 mins you get the message "your emeny has forgotten you !!" kinda helps reassure that yor not gonna get a train after you get up some time later and kill your group or someone else.
Getting to them is the hard part. If you haven't been through the tunnels etc, there is a learning curve.
We found it best to get in the throne room and not pull to Zone out portal. Had a couple of wanderers true.
Watch the ones on the throne to react if you pull a roamer. And if King aggros get on him immediately. He hits for 245 or so (I had 960-990 AC dependig on Buffs)
Again - once in there it's pretty easy. It's getting there.
Well the truth is you dont get much exp from these things because basically you have to tash each one to mez them decently so you are better off bringing in a guild to mass slaughter these for loot.
Never seen a spell drop from these so they aren't even really worth killing to try to get spells.
These are just the typical kind of mobs you find around the king.
The only way you could get any sort of decent exp here is if most of your party was lvl 59s to combat the damn resists.
I did find that if the enchanter made a habit of tashing each mob, then I would slow before mez, things became a lot easier with about 80% of slows landing after tash at lvl 59.
Like I said, these shroom reavers are way tougher than the other shrooms, excepting the king which is only about 20% harder because of his high damage.
I found it best to have everyone switch to the reavers on adds so that I could slow everything else a lot easier. Reavers have probably 20 more magic resist than all the other shrooms (except king).
Man these damn things have resists up the yin! At lvl 59 I got about 25% slows off without enchanter tashing. With tashing I got slows off about 50%
The problem is their magic resist is so damn high that even if you had 4 lvl 60 meleers with epics, a 60 chanter, and 60 cleric, you would still have serious problems here because of resists.
Once you get over the initial tash - survival point, you actually have a lot better odds killing these, but since their resists are so damn high its almost better to come in with two groups to mass slaughter these things and just have clerics mop up after fight.
Reavers have higher resists than the warriors, so if you get a reaver add, just switch targets to reaver and start tanking them or your chanter will prolly go down.
Reaver = warrior mob, dunno why different name... These are VERY tough for their level. Treat them like they are higher level than juggs because you probably wont get a slow or mezz off without some serious work.
I guess the best shroom party would be 60 war - need taunt and hps here so cleric can cheal 60 rogue - need very good non-mana damage output 60 wizard - need nuke yer *** off and prolly some rend or enticement of flame robe because these puppies have like 20k hps. 60 mage - mala, nuf said =P 60 enchanter - c2, tash, mez after mala 60 cleric - aego, symbol, cheal, celestials
I felt like my 59 shaman was almost worthless bringing because he didn't have malo to help with resists.
If I had malo + tash on these things, resists would be significantly lower, not to mention mage pet is WAY better than sham pet in terms of helping with damage.
Put these things down hard, dont treat them like the other myconids because they are a lot harder.
Also dont try to mess with fd pulling this area because you will just get everyone killed from the roaming mob bug (where if they are roaming they dont lose agro from going to spawn point cuz they never stop at a set spawn point)
Good luck on these things, may god be with you. Myconid reaver > Seb jugger remember... magic resist = no mez = dead chanter
If the resists dont get you, the adds will... so you need to move your *** FAST if yer headed thru this area
These things live in a series of caverns past the sewers bellow Sebelis. They are past the Ils' that patrol the sewers (level 51+ froggies) and there is a zone out near where the fungus king spawns. The king spawns on a platform, ultra-rare spawn level 58 paladin that can't be stunned.
The feature/bug you are refuring to is called the ils bug. Basicly if you agro the froggies in the area just past the hall you also chain-agro everything that's under them in the sewers (the Ils' and myconids) but you have to walk over the stuff you've agroed to make it teliport up to the top and beat you to a bloody pulp. The solution? After pulling the bugggy hall everyone MUST camp out. If you don't camp there's a very high chance that mobs will teliport on top of you, level 51 + mobs, while you are fighting the the level 45+ zone area trash.
You're full of it deceiver. I have been to sebillis numerous times and never once have i had this problem on my way to the sewers. If they were aggroed they wouldnt warp to you they would summon you! I wish newbies wouldnt post such stupid things.
Actually, 51+ mobs don't summon you unless you hit them first. If they just plain aggro on you without you ever attacking them they won't summon you at all and "might" warp onto you instead.
Apparently, once you clear out the 1st 6 frogs at the entrance, before you go past the door, you have to camp, and come right back in to clear aggro of these mushroom people just below you. sounds like a bug to me, but Verant calls it a 'feature'. SO if you don't camp beforeyou go past the door, several of these bastards will follow you, and wipe you out most likely. In other words, just camp, and move on ;)
One night, a few friends and I... 54 Druid, 53 Ranger, 47 Rogue, 51 Cleric, 51 Enchanter, and me (50 Druid at the time) zoned into Old Seb. After clearing the walkway with a few other people, we proceeded to head down to the first door and clear that up when lo and behold this thing and a Myconid Reaver spawn from outta nowhere. Let's put it this way...they hit so hard and so fast, that neither of us got the chance to cast evac, nor did we see anything else on the screen but red text, from being slammed by them..hit for 130s I believe. Avoid these at all costs
No actually he is not lying. these spawn by rock close to necrosis scarab and upper zoneout sometimes. Exact area is to the right of zonein door where 3 mobs usually spawn.
