Just a guess here, but I was thinking about this one night.

The Coerced would be brainwashed victims of the Kly... no?

So perhaps the Coerced Penkeeper has been led astray from his brothers in Droga. Droga does have a jail area, where this is a locked door that no one has found a key to open. Not that there is anything of that much intrest in there, but perhaps the nickel key opens that door.

Makes sense to me since Droga is the next dungeon that people would migrate to after Dalnir if they want to continue hunting in Kunark.

Infact the Nickle key is for a Iksar monk quest for the Shackle of Steel. And the Jail you mention has the dude with the second key for the quest.

Well... 2 mins after i posted the last note it spawned. No robes =( I can C i have a long night ahead of me.

I have now been at the spawn for 8 hours, and Penkeeper has not spawned. I have noticed that a Crusader spawms every so ofter that despawns in 5 to 10 secs if you do not attack him. I think the penkeeper might be a triggered spawn. I have not killed that Crusader yet so do not know. Can anyone let me know if this is true.

I have killed the Crusader many times and still have never seen the Penkeeper.

The Coerced Penkeeper is a rare spawn in two different parts of Dalnir, both on the third and most difficult floor. An Enchanter of level 39 can solo the easier of the two rooms, but not the harder. Characters above about level 44 can single-pull these areas using caution. The two rooms are the Crusader Room and the Blacksmith or Headless Statue Room. I recommend finding maps on other sites for the exact location of these spawns. The Robe is the rare drop of of a rare spawn. I camped this little sucker for 60 (sixty) hours before getting my robe, but many have gotten it in less time.

Both spots are on third floor: One is in church area right before you go through one-way coffin hole, other spot is past coffin hole, up ramp and left down hallway inside a small room right before the river.

his spawn aint that bad had him spawn twice in a row once with robe.

Made a little gnome very happy.(i love enchanters and those gnomes are so funny)

Best spot is past the coffinf hole in little room with broken bed, revenant spawns there too and you might get a tattered tomb shroud.
