Killing this mob is a fazt way to raise Queen faction. it lowers King faction very fast as well. It lowers Indigo broitherhood as stated, but each kill can be repaired doing the https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=240 ( fire beetle eyes and bone chips) task 15 times. Killing this mob raises The Dead faction by 100 points. I know that becausde it took 5 kills to go from amiable to kindly.

I (45 Druid) was trying to help a 50 Pally with xicotl for epic piece and Dragoon agro'd us. He was ownin us so we Zoned and came back in with full mana. got agro'd again and pally zoned out and I began kiting Dragoon. got him down to 40% HP when Pally came back with guildy of his (a 52 Pally) and we made the dirty DE sorry he was born. Think Im gonna head back after patch and attempt to solo him 100%. He has very slow regen and never resisted my Calefecation so I think its possible, only one way to find out.

Also, I dont think he has more than 5 or 6k hit points, I soloed him as a 54 paladin with 4.7k hit points and 255 strength (HoV, Fo7, Brells). Does hit hard and fast, is a pain to channel a spell with him hitting on you.

Edit: Spawn time on entire camp seems to be one hour, a bit long for faction work.

I wasn't too familiar with Lesser Faydark and was looking for the zoneline after an LDoN adventure when Dragoon Szorn attacked me. I saw the camp but didn't realize who was there and didn't come that close. At any rate, I was low on HP and under rez effects so I just rooted him and ran. The pic above by the way is obsolete. He looks almost identical to Eichvul of Everfrost.

This guys a Big old wuss, I took my lvl 53 Druid there (when she was that lvl) with a lvl 5 and a lvl 3 following me, i discided to be nice and look around for named to get these 2 armor. Well i saw the Dragoon and Preistess on Track , never tried them before, i knew the Preistess was a Cleric so i buffed my MR just in case, i had Aego so didnt matter much, I harmony Pulled the Preistess out first, with Ensnare, Rooted her with Engulfing Roots Dotted with Winged Death Breath Ro and Drifting Death, then i turned tail and got outta range of them nasty Cleric nukes , waited for the "Your Engulfing Roots have Wornen off> message and Find her re root and re dot she was dead within minutes. now for the Dragoon, i re-harmoned 'em all and ran up the Dragoon i wasnt kos to him so i snared to pull him. i rooted him right infrount of the Camp dotted him and redid the dotting by the time root wore off he was at 15% life and running, Big ole wuss if yeh ask me.

How to Solo him (Sorta)

Soloed this guy with my 52 ranger (Sorta)

1. Land Ensnare
2. Bow Kite - does not need magic arrows
3. Track a Brownie scout and lead him to it. Brownie scout agros the Dragoon and you agro kite.
4. Repeat step 3 to add another Brownie.
5. Possibly repeat agaim as there are 3 brownie scouts at most times.
6. Continue kiting until he is down to 30 percent for 2 brownies I would try 45 percent for 3 brownies.
7. Root him so he can kill off the brownies. Root the brownies as well so they can't run.
8. After finishing off 2 brownies he was at 6 percent. stack dots, throw nukes, continue arrows and avoid further brownies.

10 minutes later you have a dead dragoon. I did about 2000 damage to him which I am guessing was about 16 percent of his total so around 12,500 HP although some of that was regen since this was about an 8 minute fight.

at the time I had a 53 mage friend help me camp the brownie colony. While waiting for them to pop we cleared out the dark elves and finished the Goon. My tradeskill alt (40 druid) had to heal the earth pet a few times but for a lvl 45 mob, the Goon hits fast, high MR, and has a decent amount of hp.

Took us some time, has aprox 10k life. Double hits for 117, aggros like mad, and is VERY fast.

If ur not ready dont go near the DE camp. We ended up with 1 bub health :(

Both the Priestress & Goon are a b***h to take out even to 3 lev 52's. Me a 52 rng + 52 pali + 52 warrior try to take them down and of course we were able to, but it took about 10 mins to take one of them down. We were bored and everything and waiting for MM to repop with rare mobs so we sat out side and pulled these 2 one by one. Hehe to bad they drop nothing but it was good exp and fun.

Kladd Boozingwolf is right my race (the Dark Elf's) are considered high when they are supposed to be low lvled. Seaorn Soulrender tried to kill one and he almost died if a lvl 60 person wasn't there.

I was heading towards MM to camp and help a buddy later in the day, and I remembered that this camp was here, and that I had always wanted to try to solo it. I checked track and only saw Dragoon and Princss blue, rest green. Snuck up behind Dragoon tent, charmed Dragoon, and had him kill 2 Tier`Dal Elite that aggrod me.
Circled back around, send Dragoon after 3rd Elite, then after 2 Tier`Dal Prophets. Took about 7:30 to kill 5 greenies. Finally was able to send Dragoon after Princess, a rather tough fight as she was able to heal herself at least once. (Bard charm breaks every 18 seconds at least, timing is very important.) The battle with the Princess took about 7 minutes, and I was down to about 1/2 health and 30 Mana. (The level 39 bard song is one of two songs that uses mana, requires 20 mana per use, so about every 18 seconds.)
My pet was now down to about 50% health, so I pulled out my Drums of the Beast and twisted my DoTs and kited him the rest of the way. It took almost another 7 minutes to finish him off, so he has a fair amount of HP. I went through my logs, and as near as I can tell he took about 5600 points in damage from my DoTs from when he was at 1/2 health, so I would guess he has about 11000hps.

I am a lvl 30 druid, and he followed me all the way to MM zone, and I didnt know he was following me either. I stopped to med before zoning in, and WHAM, thats a rude thing to do. Doubling for 168 a few times, I was limping towards the zone, luckily I made it with 27hp left, unless you have alot of good backup, leave him alone

Had at least 25-30hp. Went to 1m just using my 100dmg roots and 3 ensnares. Good thing I got my Elder Spiritists arms, hehe. Dropped 2pp.

I found and killed Larik z vole at that shadow man tower then i saw dragoon on track its possiable that Larik was hih PH, i know they spawn in two different places,but i have never seen these two before

Albeit at level 60...took 5 min, couple of casts of root and stack the dot's and he died quite fast...crummy exp though and doesn't hit that hard for his level, pretty average, although I will confirm he had close to 10k hp. And as far as his sister/friend Priestess, for being a cleric, out of the few times I killed her she never ch'd once, burned all her mana trying to nuke me for next to no damage.

I laugh at people like this. "doesn't hit hard for his level"... He's level 44 or 45 and max hits for 117 per and can double attack, kick, and bash. I think 117 is pretty good damage for a fist, don't you?
