This guy will spawn in the NW corner of the zone. Run up the stairs on top of a mountain where there are only 3 Tottering Gorillas. Kill all 3 and u might get undead Tainted or Live Tainted. I got live on first kill in 5 min. Got lucky hope this helps. U dont not need to kill any other ones that are not on the mountain thingy. At 64 i got 3 agro othing major i rooted it and left it root lasted for 3 min. I had other Tainted spawned bu then and killed it got loot. Hope all this helps.

It's my understanding that tottering gorillas are PH, but you need a live tainted to spawn corrupted. I've camped EJ for a while, and killed many of these fools, but all i've got to spawn so far are undead tainted gorillas. Anyone know if killing these will spawn a live tainted?

The only three Tottering Gorillas who can spawn the Tainted ( and hence , the corrupted Gorilla in EJ ), are the semi-living ones in the NW corner, up the wall around the ruins and almost down to the Grand Stairs. Bring a mage or other buddy - the sheer number of aggroing mobs will present a fair hazard to any druid - manawise, especially.

at 60 i barely got any adds and mostly just while sitting from dotting the monkeys, i killed 7/8 Tottering Gorillas but no tainted spawned at all ill try the NW corner and see how it is over there but i didnt get too many add problems

yup even though Congo is one of the worst movies of all times,, i still like watching it and laughing at how unrealistic it is and yes they do look like the freaky white monkey dudes lol

Yes these are undead, as are all the apes in the burning woods. Also, my spook the dead can land on these most of the time and winter's roar is not resisted very much. (I'm a 48 shaman)

Ok this mob resisted my Bonds of Force 2 times (I'm level 46)
It took 6 blasts of 614hp to kill him but with a fire debuff of 6 points he didn't resist and of the blasts
