this is not a nice warrior item, the stats suck for a warrior item, it's for a quest to get the key to howling stones
Nothing wrong with this item, my Warrior would happily let this sit in his Range slot.

I was referring the the Xalgozian Fang. I have never seen one, but the entry on this site lists it as range slot-equippable.

Camping this guy is no short task. He is a rare spawn on a 40min timer, the rest of the dungeon is on a 20 min timer. And bring a monk as there are 10 or so mobs in and around the Church that you will need to clear out. Good exp there if they are blue to you, blue to me at 42, mostly green at 46.

This guy drops an item for the key to Howling Stones quest. Howling stones is the last of the kunark zones to be explored, a high level dungeon.
