Since charm resets the dmg accountability the mob takes no credit for the dmg it did and I take full exp and loot. Since MoBs do insane dmg compared to PCs I can kill things withing 5-10 mins. NO DOWNTIME =D

Am 33rd Paladin fighting with ghoulbane; can take one after fighting, rooting, healing, fighting in sequence a few times; they hit for low of 7 and high around 55; many hits in teens and mid 40's. Very resistant to stun spell; their hits stun a lot; but they are suceptable to root.

I've been squashing these for some time in Frontier Mountains with my druid. However, my baby warrior, being quite outmatched, fled to save his player the likely pain and humiliation of recovering multiple corpses. Thoughtful guy. Anyway, lacking the druid's many tricks, he quickly noticed these things are pretty darn fast. Unencumbered, with full juice and SOW he fled, getting whipped and smacked all the way to the zone line. Have these always been this fast, or is this a recent (un/intentional) tweak by Verant? Or do the gobs have shaman-like casters that buff them? I don't recall having problem pinning these things down with my druid, and I think I would remember if they could keep up, because frequent is the evil's resistance of snare and root.

Verant hates druids.

next time you're in Warsliks, do a /who. on Nameless, my monk is usually one of less than 8 players in the zone. PERIOD. Warsliks is underhunted, so the spawn count is always maxed out. and almost all the mobs wander. you have to be on your toes, it's a rough zone that goes from noob (near cabilis) all the way to 30th level in nothing flat.

Whining, running away the first time they get hit, waiting to snare AFTER the mob has ran half a mile away. Sigh. I like what druids can do, if they'd just do it and be quiet. I prefer shaman over druids anyday.

I am druid and tend to spend my time grouped or else helping my guild, though I have to agree there are plenty of Gimps out there who are Druids..... there are some of us who like and know how to group and are happy to help out when we can.

I've never played a druid before and probably never will but how do they kite 4 things at once?? How does mana permit that? I don't understand how that's possible. I have a 32 shaman and the most I can kill at once is 2 dark blue cons. Could somebody please tell me how druids can kite 4 things at once??

seriously Vi loves druids. They are such an easy class. They are so easy to lvl and they also get like the BEST spells in the game. druids are the biggest newbie class in the game!

umm, we do get an insta-death spell. Banishment, a level 60 spell, insta-kills summoned mobs if it is not resisted.
You can add that to the long list of druid abilities :)

umm look into a wizard as well. we get some good kiting abilities, just need sow potions or jboot/travelersboots to make it safe solo. I dont really like that druids seem to have a little of every class in them, but they are a decent class. just keep those sows coming boys.

Druid flames.... I play a druid (lv 30) and sometimes miss a snare here and there on large pulls but only cause im reading my spell book... ive yet to get a complaint on my playing except when i am leading the group and people say im being to commanding ******!!! wellI also play a warrior (lv 25) and i myself have witnessed druids that suck and shammies right along with it. a druid i grouped with left group to go sell with most of the people at half hp She was the ONLY healer which wasnt wise... dumb shaman cut the only tank out of a group of shamans and casters for another shaman.... moral of the whole retarded rant and stories....

lol bud i am a bard yes we can kite HG all around rathe it just takes 45minutes!!! i am one of those druid haters but i realy have to say they can kite very well bards takes way to long even if you take a few short cuts (getting a sow befor helps) no down time is off set by it taking so long to complete

Obviously you havn't tried swarm kiting. Lake of Ill Omen, pull 4 BG's ya can kill all 4 10 mins tops. Just charm 1, the other 3 beat up till it's almost dead (just make sure they don't kill it while it's charmed). Dot it till it's dead which doesn't usually take too long and ya get full xp, then charm another, let the other 2 beat it up till it's almost dead, repeat till you've got only 1 left, then just jump in and fear kite it. You've now just killed 4 level 35-38 mobs in 10 mins or less and you finish the battle with full and full mana (unless some of them were level 38 and you had to use the leel 39 charm).
My personal kite record is 9 sarnaks in OT. Full xp for each one (meaning I didn't have to share XP with a charmed pet), ended up with full mana and lost about 2 bubs of health (due to lag and my fingers cramping up). The whole thing took about 25 mins.

That seems strange, I've hunted in FM and the Lake and I have seen faction hits on every gobbie, iksar, giant, burynai that I've killed. The gobs may not give positive faction for FV but they will for Cabilis.
