Just killed this guy seconds ago, literally a few feet in front of Reebo. No faction hit, guards didn't attack me. Then again, I killed him with a single Starfire spell :-p I seem to remember from years ago that if you one-shot an NPC the guards "like", they won't attack you for some reason

Spawn Time?

What is this guys spawn time? I saw a post that it could be 3 hours but that does not seem correct. I been hunting him on and off over the last couple of days and I thought it was like 20 or 30 minutes. That proved wrong as well. I am now thinking it is more like an hour spawn but only guessing. It does not seem like I waited 3 hours for him to spawn either but was not watching the clock. Any information would help.
Too many hit points for a 17

I stumbled on him recently and decided to kill him again for old times sake. I forgot how overpowered he is. He has far too many hit points for his level and runs like the devil when he gets low. Be sure you have snare/root or a clicky up or you might lose him when he runs.

Killed Nillipuss this evening with my lvl 21 Halfling Ranger, brownie dropped a Golden Earring (plain, no stats or procs.)
Great xp.

I killed him with my level 19 untwinked ranger and it was pretty easy. Not only does this little bastage give AWESOME xp, but he's fun fun fun to kill.

If you're an enchanter and you have tiny companion spell, you can actually reverse-shrink super small creatures like Nillipus once they are charmed.

You mean... grow? =P

This is also the case with druid bear pets. It turns them from being a rather small, cub-sized bear to a regular black bear size. At least it used to, I slightly recall that being changed.
Brownie Torso

I have looted a Brownie Torso off of Nillipuss, vendors won't buy it. Any clues about what it is for?

I looted one of these as well. A Google search turns up nothing, nada, zilch. Looks like we're going to have to talk to every NPC in Antonica now.
Nillipus the Thief
# Jul 26 2002 at 3:12 AM Rating: Good
I always ignored him till today when he stole 7-8 items I had placed on the ground to transfer to another character. After he grabbed everything and bragged about it I chased him down and killed the evil little ****** I didn't get anything back. That would be far too logical. /sigh In any case be careful putting anything down in Rivervale because this guy might wander by and take it. I don't know what his steal range is.

brownie
# Jun 30 2002 at 10:48 AM Rating: Default
Ok I've killed this guy an untold of number of times. Sometimes he drops the jumjum sometimes not(I guess depending on whether he has picked any up or not). He usually always drops brownie parts (as stated below... used for bakeing). Sometimes he will drop an arrow (I've rarely seen him do this.) Completed this quest 3 times, got the runners ring all 3 times (which I promptly gave to an alt).

Ok Killed him last night and he drops a "Brownie Brain". Its a magic item, race: None class: None. It looks like a small tan jar.

Anyone Know what the Brownie Brain is for? Its got to be for a quest or somthing. Its just a bit odd with the "race: None class: None" Thing.

Thanks

Brownie parts...
# Jun 28 2002 at 12:23 PM Rating: Good
I've been killing him for some time now, because I need the brownie parts that he drops. (It is much easier to kill him than to hunt the little demon brownies in LFAY.) Brownie parts (Looks like rabbit meat and does stack.) are used for baking... You can make winter chocolate with them...

The quest for Nillipuss is with Reebo Leafsway.
Reebo Leefsway wants you to teach Nillipus a lesson for stealing Jumjum. You must hunt the evil brownie down and slay him. He is approx level 17. He gives good experience and a lot of gold as well as the stolen Jumjum stalks. Return 4 of these stalks to Reebo to complete the quest. You may have to kill him several times and really teach him a lesson to acquire 4 stalks (the number may vary depending upon your faction). Your reward is faction, experience, platinum, and a random magic item. The item you get varies a lot. Some of the items you may get are: Regular Lightstone; Travelers Pouch (very nice, but small bag); Travellers Pack; Earring of Fire Reflection (+5 sv Fire, AC1); Earring of Magic Reflection (+5 sv Magic, AC1); Earring of Poison Reflection (+5 sv Poison, AC1); Earring of Disease Reflection (+5 sv Poison, AC1); Runners Ring (+2 agility, +2 stamina [not SoW]), Wand of Frost Bolts, Rod of Identification . Because it gives some nice items, many people hunt the filching brownie, so expect lots of competition. He likes to run around the main roundabout in town around Fool's Gold and down the passage by Meeka Diggs. Reward: Runners Ring
Reward: Earring of Disease Reflection
Reward: Earring of Fire Reflection
Reward: Earring of Magic Reflection
Reward: Earring of Poison Reflection
Reward: Pierce's Pouch of Storing
Reward: Travelers Pouch
Reward: Traveler's Pack
Reward: Rod of Identification
Reward: Wand of Frost Bolts
Reward: Anti-poison amulet
Reward: Earring of Frost Resistance
Reward: Arrow of Contagion
Reward: Arrow of Frost

Bought Jumjum
# May 02 2002 at 6:38 PM Rating: Decent
I've been hunting him hoping to get the nice backpack. I haven't found anything that makes him spawn. I've bought jumjum and nothing, put it on the ground and nothing, asked about him and nothing. He seems to just be a really long spawn time, around 3 hours from what I've seen, but I could be wrong. Also, I bought some jumjum and out it down for him to pick up, and there wasn't any extra on him, so only the jumjumm that he picks up out of the garden will be dropped. Hope this helps everyone else trying to get back the jumjum!

More info:
After hunting him some more, spawn does seem to be about 3 hours. Also, after following him around for a while and seeing him pick up 3 Jumjums, I needed to log so I killed him, and he only dropped 1 Jumjum. Don't know why, but he did.

Nillipis Loot

He spawned as soon as I purchased some Jumjum from a merchant. Took him quite easily with my 18 warrior, he dropped 28 gold and a body part, which I have no idea what to do with.

Does Nillipuss spawn at specific times, or is he triggered by presence of jumjum?
