The picture doesn't show that he is standing in front of a squad of undead marines. To get to him, you have to run by either the gargoyles, golems, dragoons or all of them together. Good luck.

I have hunted ogres in td and i wish i hadnt i am a a de wiz whos god is solusek if i have the faction at dubiously will i be able to do this quest? if i cant then damn

Since I'm probably still KOS to Dragoons, etc., I believe doing this quest will help me not be KOS. I have been killing Sarnak's in the OT recently to improve my faction with Legion of Cabilis, but will this Cabilis faction help me to not be KOS to dragoons? Also, is Rottgrime on the outside of the city where I can get to him or if someone can give a description of where he is, that would be helpful. :)

If you are a DE mage, have several options - you could either not attack him and just loot the item, or you could have an enchanter mem blur him before he dies, or you could zone/camp before he is dead and then come back to loot it. The first option would be best.

There must be a way to get the Tears of Erolissi without killing him, that is one huge faction hit for a DE mage.
Also Karnors in Dreadlands is Venril Sathr faction as is the Outpost, so don't go to Karnor's if you plan on staying non KOS here.

this is kinda like killing sir lucan, used to make you KOS to freeport militia forever.. you just gotta grin and bear it... or have a group kill the damn thing for you.. good luck with that :)

This dude now drops the Tear of Erolissi needed for the mage FA quest. He's one tough SOB, and extremely difficult to pull without bringing his 6 lvl 50 friends along with him. A group of three lvl 55+ players barely managed to take him out, and he has 100%MR as well...

Can a good character do this in anyway? Im a human Paladin and was wondering if I could have someone charm this guy or what. I mean I owuld like to be able to bind in the overthere.

You can bind in the Overthere. Stay against the wall closest to Warsliks and swim around to the beach in the compound, stay there and have someone bind you. Nothing will get close enough to aggro on you. I've done it with my dwarven cleric.

As a Barbarian Rogue with a mask of deception i can do this quest . I am presently trying to raise my faction high enough so i dont have to disguise myself . A enchater with the rate illusion could also probley do this.

You will be liked if a necro or sk automatically. You will also be liked if a dark elf, troll, or ogre. Well not "liked", everyone starts out apprehensive i think.
If you plan to do kunark much, get an early start on killing the sarnak berserkers and turning in the braids, make this your hobby as soon as you can. That is the only way to raise venril sathir. Eventually you might want to do karnors which lowers it I belive. Not sure about Karnors, but I know on other things when I got my faction HIGH warmly with quests I was then at liberty to kill tons of them before it got below indiff.

I also understand that completing this quest is about the only way to get your faction up in this city. Many will NEED to do this since killing certain creatures in the dungeons of ROK will damage your faction here. That is if you care to be welcome in the overthere. This is what I have read but I have not confirmed it yet....take it with a grain of salt.

For got to meantion, it only take about 3 or 4 hours to get 24 Braids in a decent group.

This is a great quest. At lvl 32 I turned in 24 War Braids (4 at a time) and got a little more than 1 bubble of xp which is about an 70 to 90 minutes of killing.
