Oh yeah, almost forgot. as someone above mentioned this guy doesnt drop CRAP for loot. being a real tuffy of near dragon status you would think that he would at least drop something, oh well, what could you actually expect a giant monkey to drop? the worlds larges sack of banannas?

he is not nearly as hard as the dragons as someone else asked. a well organized group of people over 50 can take him. keep a healer ready on the tank cause as hard as he hits those HP will be goin down quick. good luck, and happy monkey hunting.

I(26 shaman)also found the lil monkey while looking around FoB. My map said he was on different island and that there was supposed to be a temple around where he was. To make a long story short, the nice 50+ Bard who quickly dragged my corpse back to me gave me the low down. It takes a full dragon party to kill it and it drops very lil loot. For those of you who are interested it also has a 189 bash, to go along with the 250-300hits.

Heh he took out myself ( a 51 shaman ) and my hubby's 50 war in a matter of seconds. Pays to know where the heck you are when running through a zone. Whacking for double 250's it doesnt take long....

If the GM's ever respawn all the monsters in an area, and shortly thereafter someone asks the FoB out of character, "Hey you guys want to see a giant monkey???" just say NO!! First time I ever had to deep-water-salvage my corpse.

This guy is not pleasant, I think we had 18 people, 47 plus and lost... he hits to hard and only one of the shaman's spell stuck. really messy disorganized attack but still... ouch!

so i was a level 10 shaman and went to the island of the tanrgin this is after i got pumped by seeing a ghost of a euridite on the beach so I was hyper so I swam out there see an ape staue and wham! ouch 234dmg? kewl!

btw he calls too so running isn't exactly an option even had you been a better swimmer:)

so i'm bored and scountin the FoB, and notice some neat islands on the lake...
slowly i wade into the water checking for threats above and below the waterline.
as i close in, it would seem that this place is yet another abandoned ruin. So slowly i creep atop the peek of the island...RUN!! RUN LIKE A LITTLE GIRL IN A DRESS!@! RUN!!
