Beware, I was fighting Garg earlier and he Harm Touched me twice. Luckily that's all, because those 2 touches reduced me to one bub of health before I could FD. Luckily, once I got back up (a few seconds later) he was back to indifferent. Oh, and before anyone says that it was probably something else in the room for the 2nd HT, my group had killed all but him. He was all that was there.

FYI, some npc SK's can harm touch repeatedly

The building pland are for the mystic armor quest for shamens. Go beside the Shaman HQ and go to the building on the left 2 people in there the one on the left gives out this quest.

Ive watched him emote and ive attacked him, I figure this Troll found some magic book that lets him control the skeletons. When you attack him he says something like "Help me Da book commands it". Also the Skeletal jester will say something also but I cant remember what, but its something like "you arent going to be master much longer". The jester doesent seem to like Garg. The Sythrax Guardians will also say Yes Master when Garg asks for help, but they ever attacked me probably beacuase I was level 42 at the time.
Not that any of this story is usefull for anything yet.
The Jester drops the same plans as Garg so I think Garg must be usefull for something else or they just never finished whatever they intended him to do. Killing Garg will not lower any faction. He is a Shadow Knight also.

Sythrax building plans are for the Iksar Shaman quest armor. It's called Mystic Scale and is the Iksar's answer to Totemic. The quests have been implemented on Test, but are not live as of 11/1.

Hangs out in FoB, through an underwater cave, with lots of Servants (and servants) of sythrax, a skeleton jester, and some Sythrax Guardians. All of the latter are skeles. Everyone knew all this already.
Unlike the skeles, Gharg conned dubious to me, which means he's on a different faction. I have reasons to suspect it's some shaman-related faction, but no confirmation of this.
As another poster mentioned, he emotes a lot with the skeles, but will not say anything. When hailed, he neither responds nor turns to face you, which could indicate that he has nothing at all to say. This is with both dubious and indifferent faction.

ok... so whats the deal with all the emotes, the "skele jester making things disapear and saying somthing about sythrax" - gharg "laughs at a skeleton" - sythraz gaudians " dig,clean,cut kill" ... or something like that.... i tried questioning about the emotes to everything in there, but nothing.... has anyone tried asking while being a troll SK???

That is dropped by a burynaibane spider in the field of bone zone, making me think that someone put it on him.
It did occur to me to possibly put phat lewt on him, like the 45 spd 28 dam warrior 2 hand blunt magic mithril staff.. so next person killing him before the server went down again would freak, but that would seem cruel so I did not/won't ; )

this is dropped off of burynaibane spiders in FoB. someone must have given it to him.
As in my previous post, I don't think this guy drops more than about 5 plat max and words/runes one piece of large ringmail armor.
Since I was bound near him I killed him 5 or 6 more times over a few days when bored. His spawn time is about one hour 10 minutes. None of the skels there assist him since im level 52; I don't know what level that happens at.

Killed him 11 or so times in a couple days. He drops nothing but junk. His spawn time is about an hour and 10 minutes like clockwork. I bound on the shore and went and did other stuff, came back and killed.
So far only regular thing he dropped was a large ringmail mantle (regular ringmail.) He also dropped runes or words appropriate for his level sometimes and up to 3 plat or so and change.
No faction.
I'd kill that jarniel murphy or whatever ghost lady at the same time. She is pretty much the same, no drops but words junk etc. Think I've killed her about 7 times.

I killed him solo 3 times and had nothing good drop, and there isn't a faction hit for killing him.

Do you take a faction hit for killing troll boy or any of the Servants? I've walked through there, but most were yellow at the time, so didn't mess around!

dropped him again with 41 warr 37 druid and 34 sk with 41 pulling him and guards only agro still no loot only 5 silver :)p

34 sk 30 sk 41 warrior 37 druid smoked his troll butt and his 2 guardians all loosing half health and all manna living thru 3 harm touches and the outcome one plat and words u get in pit go figure!

killed the trolly once...then while medding after fight an unseen foe HarmTouched our druid 2 times and killed her =( may have been a bug we dont know

Was there Today no more than half an hour before this posting, My companion (47th level Monk) and Myself (33rd Level warrior[samurai]) Kicked the snot out of this Troll, He initiates combat like most do utilizing the Harm touch. <reduced a bub on the monk> Then fights mostly with fear <never worked> and the such.
However To bring down the dellusions of grandeur this troll Dropped the Plans of Sythrax after we killed him. Personally I have no clue what the plans are for. But I also noticed it dropped of the Jester as well. Go figure. So for those of you who need to find this guy for some quest. Head to the FOB and go to the far right hand side of the beech you will find a pillar swim under water near the pillar you will find a cave opening. Swim into that and you will eventually find air again.. At this point. You are in the small temple of Sythrax which houses this troll. Good hunting.

I beat him he droped this wierd book. His guards drop LOTS of money!
