a scorpikis scrounger  

The scroungers are SKs first off so expect them to open with HT (ever know a player SK who pulls that move?) Second they are tied to the same faction as the outpost so evil races it is advised that you don't hunt them unless your most common way into Kunark is through wizard/druid ports. Being the bard that I am I have acquired a mask of deceiver and make frequent trips to the outpost and the occasional boat trip to/from Kunark via this route so I rather enjoy being able to walk through the place as an inkie and be safe therefore I do not kill these things.

All the coins for the drum (tambourine) quest are dropable/tradeable including the one this scorp drops but the resulting Nostrolo Tambourine is not. Do one of your Bard pals a favor if you have one of these and give it to them (or even sell it to someone but please don't gouge us bards on this one) so that they may be able to maintain safe passage through the outpost and still carry you around at light speed should the need arise.

On EQlizer I see that someone looted a SWEET piercing weapon called the Scorpikis Stinger Shank in Overthere. Is 7/23 procs Poison. Amazing weapon. Maybe a rare of these fellows? Lemme know if you can confirm.

These ancient coins... are they all no drop?

I was killing regular scorpikises one day, suddenly this thing appeared. It dropped an ancient coin, identifies as a Danak Gran... This is for a fironia vie quest that results in a bard song scroll.
