Sir Ariam Arcanum says, 'I am Sir Ariam Arcanum, a paladin of Tunare. There is no time for my own story, which is of little account. But if you wish to know more of me, and wish also to do me a personal favor then you could seek out my family in Felwithe, provided you are welcome there. Will you travel to Felwithe?'

Was trying to do Rise of Mar task, and didnt understand I had to tell the gnome to some catchprase for him to teleport me there. Walked into normal Befallen, and frustrated search on some update on task I cleared entire top floor until this guy spawned.
Sure wish had known what he for. Just asked him thousand of weird questions until got fed up and flipped off at him. =p

Hello Everybody,
I just got the Foreman to spawn after killing the group of excavators about four times (killing them all each time & letting them respawn). I killed the excavators in this order: 1st the left part of room, 2nd right part, 3rd behind the rock, and 4th before the rock. When the Foreman had spawned I had only killed the first two excavator's.
When Sir Ariam Arcanum spawned I was able to get items for both quests: "Arrialla's Token" and "Sir Ariam Arcanum". Just say the required lines to Sir Ariam Arcanum and you'll get the items you need for the quests.

excuse me, i was in befallen recently and saw sir ariam arcanum there. He conned green to me at level 12. I attempted to attack him, but I couldn't. I tried using my lvl 2 aoe song and it didn't affect him. Perhaps its just on the stromm server, but if i could have someone verify this, it would be nice

Is this guy invisable? Just wondering
He is a shade... merely the spirit of Sir Ariam, and has no corporeal body. What you see are his swords. He pops immediately after killing the Skeletal Foreman, and in the exact same spot. The foreman pops randomly after killing one or more skeletal excavators right at the entrance.
Sir Ariam gives a NO RENT bridle that can be turned in to an NPC in Freeport or Neriak for a 1 charge bridle which is not No RENT. This is a cheap way to get a horse for a one time use. Just do it again once you use the bridle....

you kill ALL excavators to "clense" befallen. and first time It did not work. im starting to believe they have to all be killed within a certain time of one another. so the second time I (to be on the safe side) pulled all 4 to the 3 glowing skulls. (because everyone knows the Minotar Hero is spawned by killing 2 minos in a certain area) so just to be safe. and bam he popped. killed him - all i say to whats his name is "I will take it to the knights of truth" - the other text NEVER worked for me. and hes sort of a ghost, so you cant see hm easily, no. just a sword and shield.

Does anyone know where in Befallen he can be found?
Kill the skeletal excavators on the first floor main hall and a skeletal foreman spawns at the end by the glowing skulls. Kill the foreman and Ariam pops.

See this person who said killing him is a good idea, is completely ignorant. Hail him he will say nothing, BUT, upon saying 'I sense you feel pain' or something along those lines he will give you a 1 charge no drop expendable J Boot Speed HORSE. Yes HORSE, for you low level people a quick run through there may make your day, although horses may only be used in out door zones it could brighten your day just a litte. So that's why ya shouldn't kill Ariam.

Posted: Dec 19 2002 at 5:25 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I recommend killin this fool because once you find out all that there isnt any higher spawns i waited 4 hours to get a plat ring and cleared the whole place many times at level 26 and nodda. So kill this guy forget the faction hit it mucho fun! I promise didnt have a prob with anything in here maybe stuff is a diff level on diff servers who knows enjoy!
