Be Careful

This thing is pure, unadulterated evil. I was waiting for "a froglok fisherman" to spawn, for my beastlord epic quest, when I got this thing on track. I found it, and hailed it, only to find those feared words:
An Island Shuttle says, "I'll teach you to interfere with me Mykal"
It started bashing my head in, does anyone know why it killed me? I think it may be for a quest. Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps it is because you worship Tunare. To raise faction and keep that from happening again, you need to give four stacks of foraged water to The Maiden Voyage. Make sure it is foraged water, and give all four stacks at once. You will get minor xp and raise faction.

Here's the deal--It is a fishing tackle box. You have to take the tackle box to the Warrior's guild in Halas. Speak to Lysbith McNuff and tell him that you have the Ice-clan tackle box. He will say something about the Elven Warriors that stole it and offer you a reward. Give it to him and he will give you 6pp and xp. Then he will ask you to return it to its rightful owner in the "Bound Mermaid", located just inside the zone on the left.
Lysbith will give it back to you with a note for Brandyn McDonald. Take it to him, with the note and you will receive the Ice-sword of Halas: 12dmg, 22delay
Not bad for killing an island shuttle.
Its a Monstor allright...

While waiting on the elven island, I decided to see if I could solo one of these. It conned HIGH RED to my lvl 25 Druid. Fortunately I remembered to Root it so it wouldn't leave for the Maidens Voyage in the middle of my battle. It took about 10 minutes of "Dot"ing and slashing. It hits for about 25 damage (You've been hit by splinters for 25 points of damage). When I finally killed this thing, I had to swim underwater to loot it. I got silken rope, 2 flasks of water, and a "No Drop" tackle box. It spawns every 28 minutes, so be prepared to wait a while. Good hunting.
