Barrel Barge  

I think the biggest advantage there would be if this was truly a mob, would be that we can sow the damned thing. I have had a barge kill me actually. Here goes.

Was late in the eve' I was on the island of Timourous Deep My party was hunting and killing nasty smelly Ogres. We pulled a thick mob or two and had our hands full. Brought the mob down and needed a rest. Smell of blood filled the air when we heard the cry of there Chief, The Great Oowomp. He was a bit more then upset. At the time we were already too low to be there anyways. Me being a Dwarven cleric show no fear. I stuck to the last. He stunned and killed our druid, used the ranger like a one handed blunt to beat our warrior. He then turned to me. Sowed, (TPW Total Party whipeout) I lifted my beard (as not to trip on it) and proceeded to run like a girl.

I headed for shore, to see my friend (or so I thought) The Barge! It even seemed to be going outbound in seconds. I ran to jump from shore. The sandy shore surface gave way to my stout form and I sunk in a bit. I went to jump, the horns of my brass helm stuck in the barrels of the barge. I could swear I saw ...

Oh, by all thats unholy, my polygons literally became entangled in this beast. I Think it may have been some kind of root, where I was dragged, drowning, along with it. While the The Great Oowomp worked on my spine like a fine tuned instrument. I be a tough old dwarf, but with the water and his might, was too much for me.

I still to this day Owe that strange creature an... Iksar? My 1000's thanks. I was dragged and dropped along zone line, and not really that close to boats path... I checked that. Rumor spread (When I shouted) that Great Oowomp stole your body and had quite a collection. For without his swimming skill I would NEVER have found my body. All of my gear would have been lost. He also found 1 of my party member's corpses. I wish I knew his name still. Very kind to me, aside fromt he fact he probably makes sandwiches from my kind....... Boats DO KILL !!! Or at least Assist... Maybe it was GM controlled. laugh.

You have to cast identify on this barge thing! Reads as "A Giant Stinking Giant Foot's Cast". Keep up poisonRES though, as soon as you realize its true form, you begin taking stench damage. Almost the same as the poisonous gnome bites or elfy ogre farts. You never know with these Verant guys eh?

those barrels are filled with wine i took them its filled with magic wine sells for 1k per barrel

the barrel attacked me one day hun....im kos with so i had to zone to est common ...yea yea ..that barge zone with me in the north desert of Ro hun...but i was lucky..someone just on me a sow doh ...did u know that the barge had a special barrel attack ? That s really bad...its stund me for 5min ...i was ok though ...i had chloroplast cast on me hun ....I kick some *** too hehe ..dont mess with me :o)

i once killed one of these, was easy for a 55th lvl mage, i got about 67 pp from it and it dropped a few nice weapons, dropped one 1hs weapon, 10/26 +5 str, and some resistances. some other 1 and 2 hb weapons, i would recomend camping this for anyone who wants good loot and money, exp isnt as great as most things this lvl but it drops some nice stuff if you looking for money

Hi, its me, Farluss, now i'm the 57th season shaman :o) I just wanted to say I'm not a dumbass and if I was the creator of the game, I would make the iksar god and I would control him and kill you all. Then I would control the Tangrin in FoB and murder all the iksar newbs there. It would be fun :o)
