I have been at this guy for about 6 hours tonight, tide turner spawned 4 times and no dice with the shards of battle. been clearing all 3 spawn areas. this is my 3rd night here at this spot is there any trick to spawning it like u had the quest riddle of steel, u left a certian mob up, etc... any help would be great or am i just gonna have to do the old fashion spawn dance like i had to do sometimes back in 2002 with unrest
**update** and on the 4th day finally spawned, must have just been unlucky or a rare spawn who knows <shrug>

Camped um today for my Zerk. First PH(-728, -1057) kill he popped LOL!, got weapon. went to check the other PH(-585 , -1027), was up again! LOL!, killed um & got a second weapon! LOL!. Two PH'ers Two Pop's & I'm outa here! ;-)

I confirm the spawn spot that Bwheeler posted. I also got it to spawn at another statuc location very close by ( neg 728 x neg 1140 ). the spawn just to the east of the one he posted.
Spawned very close to -585 , -1027 , -405 and wanders in a small area. Placeholders respawn as "a steel hurricane" or "empowered blades" or "molten steel." Dropped a Rustic Stole of Argath in addition to items already listed.

Found him near where the abandoned naeya spawn. The adds (sliver of battle) are unmezzable.
This mob spawns in the SE part of the zone, basically directly south of Intellector Geldon. Howevery, you'll have to go the long way around. Placeholders are steel dervishes and empowered blades. Model is a dervish but curiously has no name tag. Mob pumps out two adds every few seconds. Burn it down fast or you'll be overwhelmed. Adds are low HP and hit for around 2k.
