Ah well bombed out there.
Looked on track and lo and behold there is Pyzjn..so again /ooc Camp Check followed by /ooc Hadden.
Well this is too good to be true but I decide to check the ruins out just incase there is a body there who might be afk...nothing more annoying than being KS'ed cuz your afk.
Well to my surprise no one was there so load up nuke, 1 lvl 51dru blast and she is no more.
So to the loot...10cp, a rusty dagger oh and the GBS..first time in 51 lvl's I have ever seen it drop so easily.
My idea was to sell it to buy a fishbone earring but the greed creeps in and yuo think 'I will just camp hadden once more.' So 5 1/2 hours wasted camping him and no earring...well I don't suppose I deserve it all my own way....so off to sell I go.

Is this for real? How can you know this? The only way info like this can be learned is from someone inside Verant. But we will try it anyway...

It's really very simple - there is a spawn triangle. You need to get two friends to do this and one go to Dagnors and sit on the island with the other going to SK just north of aviaks.
To get Pyzjn to spawn you must kill Bilge Quillmane in South Karanas.
Quillmane's PH is a guy named Bilge Farfathom in Dagnor's cauldron. He's a common spawn so he's easy to find on the island out in the lake.
So get your first friend to kill Bilge, then your second friend to kill Quillmane and hey presto Pyzjn will spawn EVERY TIME right at the ruins.

I saws her pet but I ain't sees her. I follow her pet and was like hail it and all that stuffs (you knows how it is) and I was like smiling at its. The the pet said are you looking for a Glowing Black Stone? And I was like *wow* it talks, so I was like yeah, do you know where it is? The the pet said "yeah", it's in my masters pocket, I was like *wow*, it talked again. And he told me where it is. That's like cool. So I asked the pet where its master is (you know how it is) and the pet was like sure friend follow me. So I followed the pet to its master and he introduced me to his master and I was like "hi" and then I was like "so I heard you've got a Glowing Black Stone eh". And the master said "yeppers". And I was like "ok, I wants it, so gives it to me or I'll have to kill you. She said "I don'ts wants no trouble, so I'll give it to you" so I was like "Cool! Thanks, I guess". Then I killed the pet and her master anyways. Muahahah, then I was like "gah" lets go do sometin else for awhiles. Cool eh?

Well i have camped her thousands of times and have tried ever method that has been said and i still have never seen here i have tried with my ranger who is 43 adn my pally who is 31 and then with my 51 wiz and i can say i have never een her..

Must i keep them alive? or kill chanda miller like other post says? plz i dont understand all u, only tell me who must keep alive and who must kill for she spawn, i only see she one tim and was whit my alter, a lvl 12 war and need run, i hate it because when i return my main dont see her, plz answer I REALLY NEED IT

Well, not to say I am an expert on the subject... But today she spawned 3 times 3 nights in a row for me. All I did was kill that miller girl when we almost finished doing her rounds. she stops at the tree near the ruins and sits there.. I killed he around 6 o clock pm EQ time and Pyzjin spawned each time, never dropped GBS tho that would be nice. Hope this helps you, and I hope I didn't just get lucky, BTW she popped right in the middle of the spires each time and I didn't even touch any skeles or anything, well one time I killed a wulf, but I got an itchie trigger finger on my scimitar )
I would really like to see this person found out totally. This is an awsome item, tho it is down to 3k on my server, and I think people should know the quest like the one on velius for the 10th ring war. Like someone said if some hords of skeles came out that would be cool, kinda like a regular EQ scripted Event you know? well I think it would be cool.

One time i went to the Hills to see if i could get chance in the Hot-seat and try to camp Pyzjn. Well as soon as i entered the zone i did a camp check on Pyzjn and a couple people said they were already camping her and to go nowhere near the Ruins at all! I shotued "well im not gonna KS or anything, you can trust me, im just gonna watch, im bored right now" And one person said i could come just as long as i stand back and watch only. So i said ok thanks and i went over. I sat there for a few minutes until someone (i guess one of the guys who was camping it) came back from wherever and said "Hey Buffler, im sorry but you have to leave the area" i said why? He said that i would aggro the mobs and ***** up the sequence for spawning Pyzjn. I laughed to myself knowing that was rediculas what he just said. I Stuck up for my rights and said that i know that im not allowed to KS ot do anything bad, but im allowed to GO anywhere in this zone or in this game cause one, you should be allowed and two, this is an adventure game, im suposed to explore. They sounded like they made the rules. Anyway they both said ok you can watch just DONT aggro any mobs here, and i said ok i wont. Well a Dread Corpse just happened to aggro on me so they said for me to zone into BB and NOT to kill it so i dont ***** up the stupid sequence. So i ran to BB zone and pretended to zone, i waited a minute then i killed the Corpse and what do ya know, one of the campers sends me a tell the next second saying "We told you NOT to kill that Corpse" and i stuck up for my rights in EQ again and explained that there is no sequence and thats shes just plain "RARE"! So anyway i was bored and i camped, but i hope i, or anyone else doesnt run into those idiots again.

the way I see it, you turned the rude and dumb person the secound you killed the dread corpse.
Those guys spendt alotta time making the right skellys pop and you may have a right to explore all you want, but you sure as hell havent got a right to **** up ppls camp cuz your bored and think their overprotective of their camp..

"You can't own a camp" Don't beleive me? Not that I give a big hairy ratz azz..., but send a tell to a GM if you can find one, and ask them.
Or, better yet even, read the damn EQ Manual.

There are alot of rumors out there about the Pyzjn spawn. Things such as "You must kill tovax", "a grizzley bear is a good sign" etc. Having spent more time than I care to mention at this spawn I have studied it and learned the facts about Pyzjn.
The information here is FACT about this spawn unless otherwise stated.
- Pyzjn and her placeholders are on a 4 EQ hour spawn timer.
- During the day only living things will be the placeholder. During the night it will be a skele or Varsoon.
- Pyzjn only spawns during the night (8pm to 5:59pm game time)
- The skele/animal that does not sit, and stops at the end of the fallen pillar is the placeholder.
- Pyzjn and her placeholders spawn all over the north end of the zone and walk to the ruins (17 counted and recorded spawn points, may be more).
- This is a standard random spawn, random drop, there is nothing special about it.
- Pyzjn spawns around the ruins in several spots, as well as on the mountain behind the ruins, over the mountain, by the Millers, and by the lake.
- Tovax will occasionally walk north, when he does he usually drops a letter on the ground after stopping. The letter is dropped upon Pyzjn spawn points.
The best time to kill the daytime placeholder is at 4pm game time, being on a 4 hour spawn you will get her or a placeholder at 8pm 12mid and 4am
Theorys from research:

Well, you've nailed most of the points correctly. You're oh-so-slightly off on the spawn timer of her and her PHs. To be smart, do not kill her PH at 4:00pm, kill it at 5:00pm. If the PH dies within 17 ( real time ) seconds of 4:00pm ( EQ Time ), you will not get a nighttime PH or Pyzjn at ~8:00, it will be a daytime PH. Plus, if you wait until after 5:00 to kill the PH, the other people that may be "camping" Pyzjn and think it's always a 4:00 8:00 12:00 4:00 thing will be oh-so confused. I love it when I have the PH sitting next to me while I fish and I hear shouts from an idiot at the ruins to not kill anything he's camping Pyzjn. It's beautiful.
In the many many hours I spent in QHills hunting her, I have killed her 34 times, and gotten 4GBS. In that time, Varsoon spawned 4 times. She would usually spawn at least once in a night of camping and up to 4 times in a 4-hour camp. I only counted 10 spawn spots for her and her PHs. If she has 7 more, I didn't see them, but will concede they may exist.
Whether her GBS is dropped of course has nothing to do with how you kill her, and neither do HQ pelts - plain rubbish. All loot is determined at spawn time.
All of the real facts you listed above have been available in the forum for a long time, so none of it was really gleaned from your hunting - verified, maybe, but not originally learned. I'm sure you just read all the forums on Pyzjn, found the one post that explained it in detail, and went for it, which makes you a lot smarter than the ones that just slay everything randomly.
As to giving the GBS to Varsoon, it would be nice if someone really would do it to see what happens. First you say it's rumoured to spawn a horde of undead, then you say you've seen it. We're going to have to assume it really didn't happen.
If you want to hunt Pyzjn, you should be a chanter with a tracking buddy who can SoW you, or a 20+ level Druid. Makes it a lot easier and almost totally negates anyone's chances of ******** up your spawn cycle. Think about it.
ps. You failed to mention that any time you see a putrid walking instead of in the ruins, it's a guaranteed PH for Pyzzie.

I was on around 11:40am EST (prob. about 8 or 9 pm game time) and checking out track (16 Ranger) when I notcied Pyzjn was blue. So I went over and rooted her, killed her pet and then ran up to duke it out with her. She dotted me with several low-level spells, some of which stuck and some did'nt. A Dread Corpse joined the fight but I downed Pyzjn with 3 bubs of health left. She was'nt what I'd call "easy" but by no means a tough fight. Anyone with decent MR, FR and PR and some way of hitting her physically should do fine against her. Did'nt have GBS unfortunately, but she was up and not camped, so I think the odds of getting her now are better. Just my 2cp.

Jeez! What crawled up your ***? You are just like all the other flamers out there. Are you so upset that people like to TRY (empasis on try) to camp Pyzjn for the awesome glowing black stone that you have got to flame the rest of us? I mean really where do you get off putting down other EQ players? We pay the same price to play EQ as you do. We can play the game however we want as long as we don't break any of the rules. And if you don't like that you can sell all your stuff, give away all your plat, delete your character, and cancel your account. Otherwise STFU you stupid flamer!!!!

The Glowing Black Stone is an EverQuest doomsday device and Pyzjn is a clever spy for the Ghastly Bonecrafers of Sorcery. (GBS) These things are hard to make so when she is ported over to Qeynos Hills she isnt always going to have it. You may think that once you killed here that the GBS would have to send in another spy but NO the GBS can make an unlimited number of clones of Pyzjn. Only problem is that the Glowing Black Stone is hard to make. DON'T be fooled about its 9int 10sv magic, these things are DEADLY black soul devices that are designed to turn every living thing on norrath undead to follow the necromantic wiles of the GBS. The GBS are also in the works to circulate these devices on luclin as well. Once the GBS has made enough black soul devices they will activate them and turn every living thing undead. BEWARE OF THE GBS!!!

And i mean EVERYTHING. i dont have track- im a stupid pally. i just killed what i saw. in hope, i stood around the ruins killing stuff, and i thought she would just walk right through the area because everyone was talking about how she does that. i did what i just typed and nothing happened. when it was day time again, i logged.
-Pzyjn does not SPAWN at the ruins....she walks up to it...she can spawn from MANY places around the ruins....watch for the skeletons that wander up
-Pzyjn only spawns at NIGHT (EQ time)....between 6pm-6am....if she's still up at 6am she will STAY up...not sure how long....
-Pzyjn spawns completely randomly....there is NO trigger....there is NO order to it....there is NO consistancy.....same for GBS drop...you can call it "rare"...but Random is more accurate
I have personally killed her several times...20-30 times...probably seen at least 10 GBS drop...once had her spawn 3 times in one EQ night....droped 2 GBS (gave em both away to newbies)....I never stay long enough to say anything like "I've camped her for 9 hours straight and she never spawned".........longest I've stayed there was probably 4 hours...but I've heard stories
-Pzyjn is NOT a pushover....I was camping the area for bone chips for my cabby faction with my lvl 20 druid...Pzyjn came up and I gave it a shot...only had about 60%mana...so I memmed up my best anti-summoned spell and took out the pet fast as I could...but it wasn't enough...I had to run to SFG (guards do not assist you aganist her BTW)
if your lvl30+ you should be SHOT for camping Pzyjn...@#$^ Farmer messing up my server economy! ,,|,,

I have personally killed her several times...20-30 times...probably seen at least 10 GBS drop...once had her spawn 3 times in one EQ night....droped 2 GBS (gave em both away to newbies)....I never stay long enough to say anything like "I've camped her for 9 hours straight and she never spawned".........longest I've stayed there was probably 4 hours...but I've heard stories
-Pzyjn is NOT a pushover....I was camping the area for bone chips for my cabby faction with my lvl 20 druid...Pzyjn came up and I gave it a shot...only had about 60%mana...so I memmed up my best anti-summoned spell and took out the pet fast as I could...but it wasn't enough...I had to run to SFG (guards do not assist you aganist her BTW)
if your lvl30+ you should be SHOT for camping Pzyjn...@#$^ Farmer messing up my server economy! ,,|,,

She does spawn near the ruins, but not where the placeholders stop.
She spawns 8pm - 6am
Random spawn yes, but there is a placeholder.
As for being level 30, hey if you want to spend the time go for it. I think any person who spends the time at the spawn deserves it, this is a very long camp.

During the day it is a living creature such as a bear, fire beetle, wolf, etc. During the night it is one of the forms of a skeleton, or Varsoon.
