Does this kitty drop any loot?
Specifically, does it drop a pelt or hide? If so what type and quality.

Enquiring minds want to know.

Get real friendly with root, nuke, and RUN!!!!! if you do =)

Seriously you can though but be careful. Try that fav Dru trick of befriend on another lion (or other beast not above darkblue) and sic them on the bigger ones while you nuke from a distance. If your little friend is disposed of odds are only 1 or 2 nukes will send it running where you can snare and nuke it into lion meat and pelts

hehe sounds like me. I've been hunting them for a while both matriarch and patriarch. I befriend a lower level lion and sic them on high level ones and while they are fighting I nuke. It is inevitable the befriend one will di but by then the pat/matriarch is weakened so even if you don't have enough mana to root or nuke you can just run them down and they wont fight back. Just be careful it doesn't run you arcoss more lions or other hostiles. I've had whole prides after me cause I didn't root the patriarch

Note: make sure you always have SOW on just incase you get to make a fast break

If your a druid with wolf form cast it on yourself nd the annoying kitties will leave you alone. Works great to prevent them from agroing you while you med up from killing all those crag spiders in NK.
Pets

I've read on another board that these make great druid pets. The charm lasts longer than say a griffawn, and they will attack a griffon if told to. Have yet to give it a shot, but it should work...
No safety indoors.

Not only will this critter attack on sight, but it will also attack you while you're indoors. I was inside a shop, was actually in the process of selling something, when it said a lion patriarch hit me. Keeping in mind that I was a newbie (5th lvl druid), I didn't know what a lion patriarch was. In any case, it was either on the roof or next to the building, hitting me. I ran out of the building, but of course it killed me with a few good swats. The irritating thing was that I never even saw what hit me.

I'm level 20, and this beast keeps attacking me on sight. Needless to say it cons green.
