Gah, I need 20 of those Swirling Mists for cultural armor.. after seeing what ingredients I need and how hard they are to farm for; I now realize why this armor is so darn EXPENSIVE in Baz! 2k a stack? An hour per swilring mist? 16 needed for the armor assuming no fails, 20 mists to be safe? GOOD LORD!

Well put it this way if u are hunting swirling mist plan on spending about 1 hour in Najena running from elemental spawn loctation clearing them all and if u are lucky u will get 1 per hour. Got lucky when i was leading a raid for my guild there and looted 4 and bought another 6 from others in there for 10pp each then turned around and sold them to my friend who uses them for 75pp EACH!!!! or 1K for a stack.

These things can be found in Ak'Anon as well by the Mino Caves (just don't go in the caves.) Do the same killing all of the earth elementals you see and anything else like drakes and rats and you should get some pops. Also about them being invis and fighting, if that is the case I will use AOE songs (I am a bard.) Trying to get the BP myself, wish me luck.

Not in Ak'Anon but in Steamfont, the neighboring zone. It is not far off from the windmills but I would suggest getting yourself a map and a SoW or Selo's to get to the Mino Caves.

Anybody know how rare the Swirling Mists are i have killed like 5 and still no drops of it thx.

Something like 2% chance of you getting a swirling mist if u kill all the elementals until an air elemental spawns....and 9% if you only count the air elementals. I found this on an EQ traders post referencing tempers.
Can anyone tell me about where these guys normally spawn?

When u go into the zone u get to an area where 4 elementals spawn & 2 at the gate & 1 in the room right before u get to the gate, just keep killing all them and a random elemental will spawn in its place.

I picked up this item which looks like a potion that is call swirling mist its magic and is stackable, this item is dropped off these guys and i now have 3 any ideas whats it for?

Its for Moonlight Temper which is needed to make the High Elven Mithril armor... If your are veeshan I would be happy buy them... lol

These things can fight while invised, be sure to cast see invis or get it cast upon you.
