i was down there woundering around accually got lost but anyways a 30 enchanter i saw pulled her and i watched him beat her *** till it bled and then finally she died :p but he just casted wril till you hurl i believe its some kinda stun thing and she couldnt cast he nuked twice and then had to recast wril but then nuked a few more times and wala she DIED !

Ok yes you can solo her with a druid lvl 30 did it 3 times today lost only aobut 1/2 health in doing so and about 3/4 mana lost also. Simple pul her outa the room. If she comes solo then root, stack dots snare and move outa her line of sight. She is unalbe to cast on you once you move outa sight. Wait tell you get the message of spells worn off go back in and repeat tell necessary. If she comes with mutiple mobs this gets real hairy and dangerous at this lvl. You can run or tuff it out. Root all the mobs that aggro. Do not root najena move away out of sight of the other mobs try to pull najena as far away as possible then root her. now time for you to run go outa the room near the first ogre guard you encounter when you zone int. (this will reset the mobs you initially rooted. Hopefully najena is still rooted. Go back if she is still rooted stay as far back as possible and DoT her snare and re root move outa sight tell the message comes across something has worn off then repeat tell dead. The multiple mob is hard to do you have to make sure you dont get ot close to najena after all mobs have reset. If you do you will aggro the first mobs again. You still have aggro with them as long as you dont get to close they stay put. * there aggro range increases now that your on the list by about 4-5 times the normal distance. Have to have patience if your root does not hold on najena when you go back and check it Zone out SOW and come back in try to do it again. This will completely wipe your aggro list. Good luck :)

Did the key hunt in about 2 hours.
She spawned twice for me.
a total of 6 mobs were blasting me in the room.
3 pets anaj and 2 necros.
BTW I'm a lv 59 tank and this droped me down to about half my life.
I'm sorry but iof any one said they soloed the entire room and they were in there 30's there lieing.
If your a caster maybe, but there spells are rarly resisted even with high magic resist and you wolfs don't have much HP. )

Does killing Najena cause you to lose faction with any dark elves? Does anyone know the story behind her and her lair?
The only dark elves you lose faction with are the dark elves in this zone, the dark elves in Neriak and Nektulos couldn't care less. Killing Najena, as well as most of the mobs in this zone, only lowers Najena faction, the faction of most of the zone's inhabitants. In fact, if you kill the enchanter in the prison, it actually RAISES dark elf faction.

Im a 40th wizzy...I have never been to Najena and i want to get this crappy stuff for my chanter....Im really poor :P...so can i take her out alone....and no i cant be bothered to read the posts of who took her out cause half of them are BS

I expected that she would always be up, but thats not the case. took us 2 and a half hour of camping her last night, and she only poped ONCE! if you plan on campin najena, epect to be there for quite some time..and yeah the elemenatal is the ph. the spawn took about 15 to 20 mina for the room. =(

Just about anyone above level 30 can take her out. I haven't personally fought her but it's not too hard to figure it all out. The problem isn't her... its all the adds. Me (being a level 40 paladin) can solo this whole entire zone with all the adds in the world. You just need to know what to do with what mobs. I'm not sure on the effect of regular fear on undead... but I have spook undead which works well enough. I just simply root the easy, annoying ones that come and fear the others. So what if more come... It's not like you had a single anyways. Just keep refearing when you need to.

I was worried about trying to solo Najena as a level 39 magician, but after hearing that a 32 warrior solo'd her and so did a 29 druid, after spawn broken, then i'm sure my magician will just kick the snot out of her. heh. My pet could probably solo her. I drop trazden (or whatever his name is) and Drelzna in 3 spells. Seems najena is just another wimp in the zone :)

OK, 47 Paladin here. I have a little trick if Najena is up and you dont wanna bother with getting all the keys, all you gotta do it walk to the door to her room, and sit down. She will aggro, cast some spells, etc. Then just run and start swimming until she follows you. Simply go back to the incine heading to her room, since she wont leave the water the other way, and keeel dis ho. She will drop the key to her room, which some crackhead decided to make no rent, so you can then continue your camp in there.

Oh yeah, slow, 18-19 minutes.
After a higher level pally helped me break the spawn I was able to hold it (29 Druid). Najena worked me pretty good, had to GHeal myself twice during the fight, but the mages were ridiculously easy (took one out in 8 seconds).
Najena was hitting me with some DD ("You have been lacerated by steel") for 150 a crack and it was hitting FAST and OFTEN. I've got pretty crap equipment though.

It seemed like she hit you fast and often becuase it's a DoT, not a DD spell. lasts 3 rounds.

I've never bothered with all the keys included in getting too Najena. Why would you when you can buy a FBR for 100pp in EC, and a Black Tome with Silver Runes for 200pp in the same place. This Zone is for Mage's to get their Focus Items. That's easy. Zone in, follow the path till you see the NAJENA sign overhead. Med in the alcove with the bones and wait for Mage to spawn. Kill it, then go deeper along corridor, till you come to anopen room. Another Mage in there. Camp these 2, and you will get all your Items.

If you are a lvl 40 or above magi, just kill the entire zone for your words. Trust me, it will be alot faster than 2 spawn points, especially with a 16 minute timer on the spawns. Your pet will take next to nothing, by the way of dmg, and you wont have to cast more than a couple spells.

be carefull. even if your high enough level, its not the mobs individualy thats so dangerous but the pack attack when they all agro you together. i'm a level 51 magician and i almost got killed in drelznas room simply because i had too many mobs on me at one time. if there is any way you can control your order of engagement thats the ticket.

hehe im a 25 mage too, and its signing ur own death warrant if u wanna solo her... i would get a group of 6.. i may try grouping to kill her if its open. mostly just going here to get a torch

yes a 25 mage can take her out if his/her pet was buffed and the mage had clarity.... im a 34 mage and soloed her and the other mages with no prob hehe (i had clarity) just DMG shield and haste pet and kick naj's *** down lol. but i would recommend taking a group cause she can hit with some nasty spells at a lower lvl than 30 =/

while camping this girly with 35 sham (me) 35 tank and 34 tank we had a Mist Elemental spawn in her place. Like the other key holders she has guards either necros or magicians and spawns in appx 16 minute intervals with random elemental spawns in between. quite easy to beat they can be pulled one at a time to the outside of the door if you need to pull safely.. however i reccomend pure carnage.

OK first Off this is fact the person who Drops the Key is a Female Dark Elf Necro called Drelzna the Key is called a Golden crescent Key. let me give you fare warning I am a 44Druid and was down there with a fellow guild member Zadrax a 25th Wizard we were scouting the Dungeon out for a possible guild raid and as soon as we got into sight of this room Drelzna Aggro'd on us this set off the entire room with about 2 other necros her and all 3 pets onto us She hits very hard for her lvl as does her pet and we found ourselfs having to gate out because our spells were getting interrupted...I made sure My Wizard friend had gated first then to my complete horror gated and found her waiting for me at my bind spot she had already killed my friend and was after my Blood...I eventually killed her and pet but at the loss of Zadrax's death ( So be warned if you gate she has some way of gating with you dont know how but just be carefull...anyway safe hunting and take care all

First, let me note that the message I am commenting on is only visiblw if you turn off the filter.
Now, as far as a monk beating a rogue in a duel, Ok, I buy that. But, that doesn't mean that the rogue would not be as useful, or more so in a group. Backstab is almost useless in a duel, since nobody would let a rogue get behind them, but a rogue with a 10 or greater damage piercer backstabs for nearly the damage of a nuke, and has better ac and hitpoints than a pure int caster, to handle the aggro if (when) the mob turns on them. Similarly, just about any class can outduel a cleric, but when was the last time you saw a group that was effective without one. A rogue is a grouping type class, and is VERY effective in a full group.

Then obviously you have never bumped into a rogue who masters his skills of poison... Easy at sub 30th lvl to make eyeburn blind 1min 12sec or spine break for a 60% snare combined with a slow of your attack speed to 1/2. or how bout a cranial freeze for you caster. -301mana. Notice you didnt leave your name to back up your claim. hehe
